I was wondering if this order has shipped yet or not? The status has said 'shipping' on my order history, but if I focus on the order it says it has shipped. Just wondering where it's at.

I want to be sure these two things interact the way I think they do. Far shot reduces the penalty per range increment to a -1. The Sniper Archetype at first level reduces the penalty by half.

So, for the second range increment the sniper has no penalty: -1 halved (round down) = 0

For the third increment it is a -1 penalty: -2 halved (round down) = -1

For the fourth it would still be a -1: -3 halved (round down) = -1

Is this right? I assume the round down part since that is usually SOP.

Can you use the Elemental Spell feat on spells that do untyped damage?

If so, what would happen if you used it on a Inflict Light Wounds (or greater) spell? Would it still heal undead, or would it not because it is no longer negative energy but something else (Fire for example).

Also, Searing Light, would it still do it's extra damage to undead and light sensitive creatures?

Does a Witch maintain the lower level abilities of the Flight Hex as she gains levels? i.e. does a 5th level Witch have the ability to Feather Fall at will, have a +4 to swim checks, the ability to cast Levitate 1/day, and the the minutes of the Fly spell?

I'm guess they do but I want to be certain as I am sure this question will come up at some point.

All casters must spend 1 hour to prepare their spells. What happens if a character is multi-classed with 2 casting classes and need to prepare their spells at the same time? For example: a wizard 1/cleric 2 prepares spells his spells in the morning, does he need to spend 2 hours preparing spells (1 for each class) or can he use one hour to prepare for both classes.

The GM ruled the use of a skill check, spellcraft DC 10 + cumulative caster level.

The rules don't seem to say much either way.

An argument came up during a game recently that concerned charging an opponent. Specifically which square you need to end up in. The points of contention under charge are:

"...You must move at least 10 feet (2 squares)
and may move up to double your speed directly toward the designated opponent."

and

"...You must move to the closest space from which you can attack the opponent. If this space is occupied or otherwise blocked, you can’t charge."

The players argued exampled one, all squares marked with a 'C' are viable as your destination for a charge, citing the 'closest space' entry. The DM argued for example 2, citing the 'directly toward' entry.

The situation is laid out below. Two allied NPC's occupy two squares in front of the target. The player wanted to charge the target and end up in the square marked '?'. The argument was that the player could not do this because it was not the closest available space, the only viable charge spot is filled by an NPC.

Since you threaten the enemy from the '?' space the players argued that you could charge there and it was a viable place to charge to.

I guess the main point is if the all 3 squares in front of the target count as 'directly toward' and the closest space (it's the same amount of movement either way) or not.

Examples:

Example 1
.....P.....

...CCC...
...XTX...
...XXX...

Example 2
.....P.....

...XCX...
...XTX...
...XXX...

Situation
.....P.....

...?OO....
...XTX....
...XXX....

I sat on the sidelines during the exchange but I'm curious what other people think and what any official ruling might be.

Could a fighter with the Step Up feat use it more than once a round? I know that you only get one 5-foot step per round but what if multiple enemies movement trigger thise feat?

Example: Frank the fighter is in melee with Wally the wizard. Wally takes a 5-foot step away from Frank, Frank follows. Next turn is Minion1, who is adjacent ot Wally and Frank, He takes a 5-foot step away from Frank.

Could Frank choose to follow Minion1? Or could he not because he has already used Step Up to follow Wally this round. My knee jerk reaction is no, but I could be wrong.

If a which dies it's familiar is still around...usally. But, under the 'Adding Spells to a Witches Familiar' it says that a familiar of a dead Witch '...only retains it's spell knowledge for 24 hours.' If a Witch dies and isn't brought back within 24 hours does s/he then have to pay to get their familiar back, or is the familiar restored upon the Witches return?

Hey, I don't know what happened but I'm a little confused. Yesterday when I looked at the shipping of my Bestiary order it showed that it had shipped on Tuesday (the day I received access to my PDF), now it shows that it shipped out on Wednesday...

I'm not sure if this is a system error, just a slow down at the post office, or if the Tuesday date was wrong.

I was also wondering if it would be possible to get the tracking/delivery confirmation number for my package?

I just signed up for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Ongoing Subscription today and I had a question regarding the shipping. I requested USPS Priority Mail, but the e-mail I received says the Bestiary will ship via Standard Postal Delivery. It also only shows that I'm being charged $6.54 for shipping, I believe Priority Mail would be about $9ish.

I just want to be sure my shipping is correct :)

I have a simple question regarding Power Attack and Combat Expertise. Could someone opt to take the lesser penalty/benefit of the feet?

i.e. could a fighter with a BAB of +4 choose either -1/+2 or -2/+4? Or could they only do the -2/+4?

I'm guessing yes, I don't see any problem with opting for the lower trade off, but the feat doesn't explicitly state that you can (or can't).
