It being the evening, Hinagiku had shifted to her human form, like she did every night. As she sat amidst the Hellfire squadron, the monk remembered the many crusaders who she had fought side by side with and had passed on.
As the evening continues, and the monk sits by Myrna’s side, she watches the highs and lows of the troop and the strong camaraderie and, in its way, harmony, between the different crusaders. At Myrna’s party, back on Earth Golarion, Myrna’s input welcome!:
The evening of Myrna’s house warming party, Hinagiku’s mind is occupied with Meridrand. She had just spent a few hours cleaning his home of bottles while pondering if there was anything she could do to help him. But, even though she could cover large distances by foot in a single day, she could not track fast enough, or well enough, to catch up with him, and bringing someone to track would not only be selfish, but also slow her down too much. She had considered asking Ehren to fly her in, but a large flying bird would likely attract the attention of demons to the army, putting it in danger.
While speaking with Myrna, the conversation slowly veered towards Hinagiku’s concern. Myrna’s suggestion of scrying on Meridrand concerned Hinagiku at first, but once she knew that the spell message might even allow them to hold a conversation, she readily agreed. After all, what she wanted was to have a small chat with him, and if she could not hold it in person, she could perhaps do it at a distance.
After a short visit back at Meridrand’s house to pick up an item of his, or perhaps a hair, Hinagiku sits down with Myrna, ready to communicate with her friend.

Blessings & Proposals
Little more than three months had passed since Hinagiku had first returned to Sakakabe, yet it seemed that a single passing season could bring about a few changes in the woman’s life. If, upon her last visit, Hinagiku had had to explain quite the change in appearance, on her second visit, she had had to explain about her scar, her new Thuvian clothes and, most importantly, the loss of the shawl her mother had embroidered years ago. In the midst of a dinner with such a somber discussion, Ehren’s request for Haruka’s blessing had come as a joyous and amazing counterpoint.
That very night, their union now blessed by the Hinata household, Hinagiku had invited Ehren for another evening under the Minkaian stars. Surrounded by sleeping flowers and enveloped by the calming sound of rustling grass in the wind, Hinagiku reminisced about their past discussion on the day of Sakuramatsuri. She appeased Ehren’s worry about her new way of life and how it would not interfere with her future as spouse to the Archdruid and Head of Clan Ferron. There was more though. With kitsune mischief, Hinagiku reminded her companion that he had forgotten to ask her for her own blessing. She would only marry him if he made an oath to himself, an oath that whatever may come, he would not let his heart grow cold or distant, that he would strive to remain the kind person he was. This, she said, was a gift to himself, not her, and needed to be done in full honesty.
Sad Return & Goodbye
Hinagiku’s time spent in Sakakabe, between studying Body Outside Body and living with her mother, came to an end when she learned of Isilme’s imminent departure. After finding a decent parting gift, a calligraphed haiku about freedom and following one’s desires, and crafting a beautiful bouquet, she returned to Drezen to bid her friend goodbye. They had known each other for years, and although their views and personality differed much, they had been there for each other. Their bond had been forged through strifes going beyond those of battle, Hinagiku could remember the shape changing Azata helping her to come to terms with her new form and the seance of meditation they had often shared. And so, with a gentle hug and gifts, Hinagiku wished Isilme and Aravashnial the best in their future lives.

With Kathon
Hinagiku is glad to find Lt. Kathon so quickly, though the dire portrait she depicts proves more dire than she had expected.
”The Council of Elders?” she asks, not having even given a thought as to the governing body of Rahadoum. At the Kathon’s question, Hinagiku cannot help but wonder whether the lieutenant was just that good at reading between the lines or whether she was just bad at telling half-stories. ”I hope not, death of guards for the sake of rescuing Ary seems too violent, and against Ary’s taste too… I wonder if effort will be made to take her away without deaths though. She is such a boon to the city, the crusades, and as a friend. Her not coming back would be a difficult challenge to overcome, a wound to the harmony between the different people she brought here. But, nothing is set yet, maybe the Queen will come up with a diplomatic solution, s0 I would appreciate it if you would not mention this to anyone.”

The Way Back
The trip through Thuvia may not have been the most joyous, but could have been much worse. Knowing that Ary was safe from her foes and having received a message from Xander earlier did much to assuage her concerns and to somewhat lighten the mood of the voyage.
Once they cross over to Thuvia, Hinagiku takes advantage of one of their stops close to a small village to go and give away her stolen clothes. If they could not make their way hope, at least they would dress someone in need. And, of course, she uses some of the group’s gold to buy herself clothes for the way back home. The set she choses is purposefully bland as she would most likely find something more suitable to the Mendevian weather when they returned to Drezen.
Back in Drezen
Once she is back in Drezen, Hinagiku does not stay idle. So many issues from their last trip had been caused by ignorance that she thought it best to learn more about Rahadoum. With Ary and Lann still imprisoned, it seemed likely that they were not done with the atheist country. Remembering a conversation with Isilme, she searches for Kathon to whom she asks direction to anyone in Drezen who might know of Rahadoum, or if impossible, asks Kathon as much about law of that place as possible. Hinagiku realises that she should not mention Ary has been captured, so simply inquires about the laws, especially regarding religious terrorism and affiliation with such terrorist.
Note, I am writing this to get an idea of how Hinagiku will react to the scene that we will soon need to resolve.

Hinagiku & Ehren back at the sylvan hideaway (and also the story Hinagiku will tell anyone when asked about what she was up to alone:
Ehren’s story would indeed have made for an entertaining story, if only it had not end in such a nightmare. As the druid’s mood becomes gloomier, Hinagiku reaches out for his hand which she squeezes.
When asked about her own day, Hinagiku reflects that her own time had been an adventure, one that might even be considered funny at points. And so, she retells it, thinking it might lighten ever so slightly her Ehren-kun’s mood.
”My day was the strangest. So much trickery, it was difficult, but I guess I did learn a lot. I was meditating under the stars when the legion arrived. When with Isilme, I pretended I was mute,so I kept it up when they arrived. They saw your hideaway, so I tried to explain, with motions, that there might be dangers within… ” she begins, her ability to tell coherent stories as lacking as always. ”I was mimicking saurian jaws when Mrs. Unafe came out in her huge form and took me away in her mouth. She really can jump far. But the legion found us. And that’s when Mr. Xander used his spell, we had met up with him, Mrs. Valais and Ary a bit before. It was a fireball. Ary and I chose to protect the legionnaires, and let ourselves be arrested. It was not so bad in their jail. They stitched my wound. Anyway, I could not stay there while Mr. Aravashnial was in danger, so I decided to enter a deep meditation. I thought they would leave me in the infirmary for the night, and maybe I could rejoin you. But then I awoke in a house of healing… I think. They must have thought I was dead, because I was stripped of most of my clothes and only had this shawl to cover me. ” Hinagiku points at the shawl she had stretched out to dry. ”I had to leave subtly… but I got spotted… and then I had to explain myself. I don’t know how Mrs. Valaria and Mrs. Isilme do it… but the nurses there first thought I was a prostitute coming to visit the sick at night, how strange. Then, they thought I was an escaped patient. So, I had to run away. I made it in the night. Met a really nice lady who was smoking strange smelling herbs. But, I had to go hide in the abandoned part of the city. That is because I tried to go to the brothel, but I was spotted by a guard there… and then I went to Sophini’s, after Mr. Xander’s spell, and that’s when we met, just after I had to run away from some of the legionnaires who spotted me… but the crowd made it easy to hide from them.” Hinagiku smiles gently to Ehren. ”Really the strangest day, and luck was a lot on my side, things could have been much worse. So, maybe Lady luck was with Mr.s Isilme, Mrs. Unage, Mrs. Valais, and Mr. Xander...”

Hinagiku silently listens to the others. Nodding as Ehren mentions bringing back Aravashnial, she cannot help but wonder whether his soul would be willing to come back; the elf had, after all, lived a long full life already. But, this was not the time for such sad topics to be brought up.
”Thuvia?” Hinagiku says, echoing Ehren. ”You know this land better than me, but if you judge it to be safer, and if it is where Clovis, Hildegarde, and Cassandra want to go, then I will follow you there.” as she mentions the halflings, Hinagiku turns towards them, her gaze making it clear the last comment is a question directed at them.
” And, if it is at most two days away from this city, we can easily come back to help Ary and Lann if they need it.”
”I do wonder whether we have done everything we could here in Azir… it is a question no single mortal can truly answer, about anything really. But, these things are clearer to the gods, and accepting guidance when in the dark is the best way to find a light that will guide one’s path.” I think we should ask whether Najat has been devoured by the dragon. Otherwise, ready to go!

Hinagiku, Ehren, Isilme and others:
On their way out, Hinagiku cannot help but ponder the usefulness of Azir’s mighty walls when people could simply swim their way in and out of the city. Of course, Ehren and her could keep their breath longer than most, but still.
Once at the hideaway, Hinagiku disrobes from her stolen clothes, leaving them to dry and keeping only her undergarments, and lets Ehren look at her scar. Although, she knew the doctor had done a good job, and unless the druid used magic, it was unlikely to go away. But she would not dissuade stop him, the act was probably helping him unwind.
”Fleeing seems wise, but it does not feel right to leave Ary and Lann behind. They might need us. I do not mean that we need to break them out of jail. Since they have not done anything, maybe they will be freed. But, truth is, I really do not understand this country. I do not know how our actions will affect them. I… I am even considering returning to the legion if it will help them. But, as long as we know nothing of their justice, it would just be unwise. Do you think Mr. Xander’s friend in Manaket could help us better understand all of this?“
During the time they have with each other, Hinagiku does not talk about her own adventure, but she does ask Ehren about his day.
When Isilme returns
Hinagiku, still in underwears, returns Isilme’s hug with a gentle pat on her back, simply making her companion’s exuberance feel as welcome as possible. When they separate, she smiles gently and nods. She was relieved, but perhaps her propensity not to assume what is and accept what is made the reunion less emotional. Still, she does only use a few sentences to introduce herself to the halflings before attentively listening to Isilme for news about Xander, Unafe, and Valais.
Hinagiku’s expression somehow darkens at Isilme’s description of the events, and the monk lays a comforting hand on her should when she describes her anger at Xander. The wizard had been reckless in the past, but Hinagiku wondered what could have happened there. Why would he have waited?
Hinagiku uses her other hand to comfort her Ehren-kun when he mentions leaving Isilme to die. It seemed that the situation was beyond fighting and dying. Her companions had suffered a traumatic experienced, acting in ways in which they had never wanted to or having their expectations betrayed. Gently, she sits next to Isilme, pulls Ehren down to her side and hugs them in silence. There was not much she could do to assuage their turmoils right now, but kindness and tenderness would never be wasted.
At the mention of a saddle, Hinagiku smiles.
”Yes, we do need to help them leave this place… but I am not sure we all should. We know so little of here, of what is happening and what will happen. We were unprepared when we arrived, but we do not need to be when we leave. I do not mean only about the adepts and the legion, but of Ary and Lann. I am not sure we can do anything to help them… but we need to know before we leave, or we might give up our chances to free them, and maybe even impede the adepts more. Mrs. Isilme, do you think your magic might help us learn more about these things, maybe Desna sees paths that we cannot, no?”

Ehren:
Hinagiku did indeed disagree with Ehren's action, but does not let it show. Instead, she tries to memorise the area so that, if time permits, she can return the scarf one day. And with that, she mixes in with the crown and heads for the river.

Though Hinagiku’s smile weakens as Ehren describes their situation in more details, it still remains. Gentle, kind, serene.
”Ehren-kun, we might still. Perhaps Mr. Xander took away Mr. Aravashnial and the others. And if so, you know that souls can always come back if they wish.” she says while giving a comforting patting to the small bird’s side.
”I have had lots of time to think about escaping the city in the last day. Even alone I could do it, but I think we could make it even more easily together. We simply go into the river. I can hold my breath and you can become a sea animal.”
”The river is not far, help me setting this disguise and we can be out shortly and take refuge in the hideaway. But, we might need to be careful, maybe it has been discovered...”
With that said, Hinagiku unbundles her shroud and attempts to drape herself with in the the most inconspicuous manner.

Hinagiku & Ehren, back together at last:
Hinagiku had been watching the crowd rushing through the side-street for a while now, ready to intervene if anyone were to fall, or ready to follow the guards if they ever seemed in danger. Within this chaos, a bird perching on her shoulder was the last thing she expected. Unsure whether it was simply an animal or a friend or a foe in disguise, Hinagiku slowly locks gaze with it. Her focused yet serene features give way to a gentle smile as soon as she hears the redstart speak.
”Ehren-kun. I am glad too. Where are the others, shall we join them? ” Hinagiku begins before her boyfriend gives her the bad news. For a short moment, she remains silent, pondering whether they had considered it too dangerous to reach out to her before. ”Oh. What of Ary and Lann? Were they not with you?.... You know, when everything seems bleak, it is difficult to see light and only taking a step back can help. Do you know of anywhere to hide? I know of a place, but it is not the safest and not the closest…. Would some of your magic help me blend in with the crowd? It seems that Isilme and Valaria’s Lady Luck has looked over me so far, but I doubt it will last much longer. ”

Careful not to be seen, she peers over the buildings edge and slinks down into its shade as soon as it is empty. Picking a new nook, she sits down, waiting to see what will happen.

Cradled in a nook between two buildings, protected from the sun’s rays, Hinagiku had been patiently waiting for some kind of sign from her companions, perhaps some commotion, Or maybe some type of strange green flying form, Hinagiku thinks as she catches sight of something uncommon by a building.
Unsure whether this is indeed the signal or some type of normal occurrence to the people of Azir, Hinagiku uses her nook to climb unnoticed unto the top of the building and keep an eye on the form.

Escaping notice during the day was much more difficult than Hinagiku had expected. So, perhaps the safest thing, and wisest, would be to stay where she was. She assumed she was not too far from Sophini’s and that her companions, with their skills, could easily find her when they would be ready to go into the compound and rescue Aravashnial.
Hinagiku will wait where she is, huddle like someone waiting for the day to end. Still, she pays attention to the surroundings in case she hears a commotion.

Rushing through the side-street, Hinagiku thinks about flying over the cart for a moment, but when she locks eyes with one of the people loading the cart, she clamly motions for them to pull it sideways instead. Perhaps it is her calm, perhaps the urgency of the situation, but the person reponds to her demand, moving it just enough for her to squeeze past and continue down the side-street. Realising that the cart has blocked the legeions line of sigh, Hinagiku follows the flow of the ley around her and ducks into a small nook to hide herself and hopefully escape pursuit.

Without raising her head, Hinagiku gives a dismissing, yet kind, wave at the person looking at her, something that said: I am alright, but I don’t want company.
When the person finally stops staring at her, Hinagiku stands up and leaves the sidestreet, heading away from the street on which Sophini is situated. As fast as she can,, while remaining as inconspicuous as possible, Hinagiku goes around the block and does her best to find a street parallel to that on which Sophini is located and which would be considered behind Sophini. Again, she looks for a quiet sidestreet with shade. Hopefully, from her new location, she would simply have to fly over roofs, and not streets, to get to Sophini unnoticed.

Despite the strenuous and, to Hinagiku, unnatural task of acting inconspicuous, the monk is able to take in the sights of the city. It really did come alive during the day, and in a much more pleasant way than when prisoners were dragged in. It was unfortunate that they had not been able to enter more quietly, enjoying what this place had to offer, some more coffee for instance or more discussion with the residents, would have been interesting.
Hinagiku continues her almost touristy observations as she comes upon Sophini’s street. It was no wonder that any attack here had caused the lives of passersby, the street was so busy, especially with the creatures called camels.
When Sophini finally comes into sight, as well as the guard patrolling nearby, Hinagiku directs her steps towards a shadowy sidestreet in which she can hide from both the sun and the throng of people. She walks a few yards in, until the sound of the crowd becomes more muffled, and searches for a small nook were she could rest without being too noticeable from the street. There, she sets her shroud down, sits on it, and patiently waits to be found by her friends.

It is not one of my customs.” Hinagiku replies softly, now concerned about her conspicuousness. ”I am going to meet some friends, and that is the only landmark they mentioned...” Hinagiku continues, not wanting to share too much about her goal. ”It really seems like a tragedy. I have not spoken with many people here yet, but you are the second person I meet who lost someone they knew to the attack. It is sad… my condolences.”
After kindly thanking the man, Hinagiku does her best to follow his direction while still following the guidance of the world, and keeping as discreet as she can.

Without interrupting her flowing motions, Hinagiku receives Xander’s message with relief and, still meditating, answers back.
”Glad to know you are well. In hiding. Leaving in search of Sophini now. Wearing blue Azirian clothes with hood.”
With that said, the monk folds her shroud and rolls it for easy carrying, puts her hood back on and low over her face so as to protect her from the sun and inquisitive passerbys, and lets her sense of the world’s essence and flow guide her not only the general direction, but also to people who might give her directions.
The ley quickly guides her to a person walking through the dilapidated part of town she is in, she gives a slight mix of nod and bow before asking.

Silence:
After a few minutes of rest, Hinagiku stands back up from the lotus position she had adopted. Being motionless and attentive was a good way of dipping one’s toes in the flow of the world, but letting one’s body flow with it was one step closer to diving in.
As if enraptured in the flowing threads of ley around her, Hinagiku gracefully and slowly moves around the room in what might appear to be a dance or, to those you have seen her fight, a slower version of her style and stances.
Every so often, she gives a look at the battered door she closed after taking refuge in the building and through the shroud she has hanged in front of the window. All senses at the ready and in tune with the surroundings, she would make sure not to be taken by surprises.

Is there room for one?:
Giving a quick look at the opened doors that she passes by, Hinagiku searches for a fully empty building in which to hide for the day. She does her best to find one that is dark, as empty as possible, and small. She proceeds to clean the place up from debris or any signs that she is in a deserted building before hanging the shroud to hide the reminder of the room from her.
Once she is certain she won’t be bothered, Hinagiku simply falls into a meditative stance and awaits to be contacted.
The goal is to get a space in which even if someone scry, they would not get information as to her location. I rolled spellcraft to help with the decision (and see what Hinagiku knows about the spell that could help with her endeavour).

On the lam:
Hinagiku pauses for a short moment to taking in the sun’s glow slowly encroaching upon the dark and starry sky. She lets the uninterrupted cycle of the world ground and relax her before moving to a dark sidestreet and returning to the streets. Arranging her hood as best she can, she then makes her way into the streets an in search of the more abandoned parts of the city.

Hiding:
Going a bit back since the guard used a light, if that’s okay. Nevertheless, the actions stay the same even if she waits until she hears the guards ap[proaching.
When she sees the light lift up into the sky, Hinagiku crawls across the rooftop until she reaches the side of the building facing the backstreet, she inspects the surrounding to make sure no one can see her and leaves the area by flying from rooftop to rooftop. It would seem she would now need to find a place to hide until her companions made contact with her.
Hinagiku will stealthily fly across the city trying to find abandoned buildings in which to hide.Preferably, in an area that seems generally abandoned too.

Hinagiku spotted!:
Hinagiku purposely avoids answering the guard’s call. She simply lays in hiding, listening. Patient, she remains that way for thirty minutes. Finally, she hazards a peek at the street and, being unobserved, moves three buildings down the street where she waits for an hour. When, or if, no one comes, she makes it over to the second balcony silently and tries to open its door.

Holding her breath and flattening herself as much as she can on the balcony, Hinagiku waits for the guard to be far before moving to the next balcony. However, on her way she accidently bumps herself on the iron grate, causing it to resonate upon impact.
Instantly, she flies up onto the roof to hide and waits a few more minutes to descend on the second balcony and try its door too.

After a quick nod of thanks, Hinagiku returns to shadowing the streets from the rooftops and follows the directions she was given. She searches for the strong smell of a parfumerie and the night business of a brothel, but unable to find either, she once more lets the world flow guide her to another passerby. She uses the same approach she has been to get near the person without arousing suspicious of fear. However, this time she makes the exchange longer.
”Pardon me. Do you speak Taldan?” she says, first bowing. ”I am looking for a brothel and a parfumerie on Rue Assaad Ibnou Zarara, would you be so kind as to point me in the correct direction?”

The night was not going to last forever and the day would make it difficult to remain unseen. Hinagiku knew this and, when the last passerby simply tells her off, she subtly retreats to the rooftops. There, she elects to neatly fold the ripped shroud and roll both pieces in a bundle she can carry before pulling up the hood of her borrowed robe over her eyes. Then, she sits in the lotus position and lets the flow of the world, of the city, slowly suffuse her. It takes a few moments, but she slowly gets a better sense of the world. Standing up, she flies from roof to roof through the city, following her intuition until she is where she thinks she should be. Landing in dark alley, she makes her way to a street where she noticed a single passerby and no patrol, and asks them the same question: ”Rue Assaad Ibnou Zarara?”

Wasn’t expecting my comment on discord to make this move so fast. My main preoccupation is whether it is possible to lose the hospital people by simply running quickly or if flight is required. Hinagiku would only use flight when out of sight to avoid appearing as a divine terrorist. That, unless there is not other choice.
Earlier
Without pause or hesitation, Hinagiku makes her way through the corridors of the hospital mentally apologizing for her behaviour to each person she passes. A few apologetic words do escape her lips as she crosses the atrium and disrupt waiting visitors: ”Not a patient. Apologies for the disruption. I really need to leave.”
Running through the surrounding garden, she quickly makes her way to a smaller alley and, after rounding a corner, she flies up unto the roof where no one should find her.
Now
After she is certain she has lost her pursuers, Hinagiku stops to throw up the ball of poison in her stomach. Finally, she lets herself take in the sights of the city. Its richness was quite impressive, so much magic everywhere, and such strange buildings. She enjoys the following minutes in which she flies from rooftop to rooftop in search of clothes. When she finally finds some, she stops, looks at the surroundings, and attempts to memorize her location in respect to the largest landmarks she can find. Hopefully, she would be able to return the clothes in the near future.
Once she thinks she’ll remember the location, Hinagiku changes herself and then rips part of the shroud she had used as clothes and puts it around her head as a kind of hood and scarf. Finally, she leaves the balcony she was one and prowls the city from the rooftops. She searches for lone pedestrians far from patrols whom she reaches out to by using empty side streets to return to the ground and cross paths with them. ”Rue Assaad Ibnou Zarara?” she simply asks.
Once she reaches the streets, she searches for the brothel from the rooftops. And when she is certain she has found it, based on the nearby parfumerie, she finds a secluded spot to get back down and goes to knock at the door.

As soon as one of them calls out, for what she assumes help, Hinagiku knows that there is nothing more she can do to salvage the situation.

With that said, Hinagiku sprints down the corridor following the path they took and aiming to get back to the first nurse office so she can follow the direction she was given to get to the main entrance.

No way I am going in there:
Perhaps it is too late to not go in, but if not, here is a post. If it is too late, Hinagiku will take similar action but follow them up by running outside. She will use mythic initiative to get out first if needed and also has +2 init, and act in surprise round, due to rapid response.
At the sight of a cell, Hinagiku slows down, going as far as quickly and deftly escape the two orderly’s grasp to avoid being brought into the padded room.
”My situation might sound strange to the point of threatening, but I am not going in a cell.” she tates in complete calmness.
”I am willing to wait by the room if you wish. Or in any other room, but not in one that is clearly a prison.” the monk continues, still non-threatening.

What felt to Hinagiku like a tangle of lies, but would have felt to some of her companions almost like and everyday conversation, was starting to be too much for Hinagiku. Concentration wavering between what to say and her physical states leaves her retching for a few seconds. When she recovers, she responds to the woman.
”You are right…. You are right… I don’t know anyone here… I am not a patient either… you can check, my surname is Hinata. I am not some perverted person either, I truly wish I had some clothes to wear, but I don’t have any. I did not want to tell you all this because I did not want to cause trouble here… but it seems it is too late. You probably won’t believe me, but all I want is a set of clothing so I can leave and go help a friend. But, I can’t really leave, I don’t know what has happened to my clothes, and without them I cannot really go outside.” Hinagiku pauses a moment, and bows deeply in front of the woman.. ”Perhaps you have some old clothes that have been forgotten or to be thrown out that I might use? I realize it is a lot to ask… but if you do, could you give them to me… so I can finally be dressed and go help my friend?” Hinagiku says, once more her strange sereness contrasting with what she is saying.

First impressions matter:
This place was having a bad influence on Hinagiku… her first instinct had been to go for an explanation rather than introducing herself. Not only that, it was forcing her to cause so much trouble for everyone. Even if this was to save someone, it was not something she was used to do, especially when focusing on not retching the whole time. Challenges might be good, but she was utterly unprepared for this one.
”Please, forgive me. I did not mean to question your skills… I assume you are really busy and should not have to deal with someone just walking by...” Hinagiku looks down in genuine deference.
When she bows her head, Hinagiku spends a second to close her eyes and peer into the flow of the world, trying to get a grasp of the woman’s attitude and how she could best explain her presence.
”No, I am only passing… I am, it’s shameful to say, trying to find the room where I left my things… my visit lasted longer than planned.”

The woman’s composure despite the cries leads Hinagiku to reassess what was happening… a birth? In the split second she works on her answer, she also tries to figure out whether the cries were similar to those she had heard from women giving birth before.
Still looking at the woman, she attempts to answer the closest possible thing to the truth:
”I heard the cries and thought someone might be in need of help… but I I might have jumped to conclusions, no? … is everything alright? ”

Clothes, where are thou?:
Not sure of the layout, so I will give generic description of some actions.
At the sight of another child, Hinagiku is reminded of Markus’ hospital, of the different sections, and of how adults were often not treated in the same places as children.Needing to make sure, Hinagiku goes to the room across the corridor, and investigates its occupants.
If still children
Hinagiku decides to leave the current corridor alone, and looks for another one in the opposite direction of the nurse’s desk. She walks through the corridors as silently as possible while still keeping in the middle; if she were to be seen she would at least not fully look suspicious. The whole time she keeps an eye and an ear out for people coming. When arrivign at corners or any dips in the corridor, like the nurse office, she slows down, and approach stealthily to see what these are.
To simplify posts, can we assume Hinagiku proceeds always in the same way when investigating rooms? Look around/listen to make sure no one is coming, listen at the room to make sure people are sleeping, crack open and look if child, and if so close the door back.
