![]() I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Can someone charge into a grapple? I realize it's not beautiful but I have the hair brained idea of a dwarf charging into an opponent, grappling them and then bashing them to death with his helmet via the improvised weapon rules. It's mostly for flavor but a move I would like to use! ![]()
![]() It says a +4 Morale bonus to Str and Con is given during rage. Does this translate to a morale bonus to attack thereby satisfying the requirments of the Dwarben trait Zest for battle? I don't believe it does but wanted some other opinions. It only counts as a bonus to those abilities not directly to the atk right? ![]()
![]() Are there any Archtypes for the Hell knight Armiger? Also can paladins be hell knights? It seems that while they are just extremest of the law that the fact that there are evil persons abundant in the faction that they would not be able to become hell knights...Just wondering. Limited experience with Paladins. ![]()
![]() So here's a stupid question. RAW the adopted trait doesn't say you can't. So aside from common sense why can't you take half-elf as the adopted parents or human for a half-elf character and take the +2 ability adjustment? It is listed under the racial traits. Unless the online PRD is shortened. I don't have the book in front of me. ![]()
![]() So I am interested to see if I am the only person who believes that the Bastard Sword should not be an exotic weapon? IMHO AD&D had it right. You had the option to use the weapon 1 handed for 1d8 and 2 handed for 2d4. I think that the two handed should add str x1.5 as well. The only problem I can think of off the top of my head is that AD&D used weapon speed and the bastard sword was slower than the longsword which did 1d8. Anyone have an opinion? ![]()
![]() Why is it that every PbP game I see starting up has a bunch of extra stuff added onto the character creation. Extra feats, more skill, more gold less gold more hit points. Am I an stupid and boring or were the rules not put together and published because they were good already? I have been playing RPG's since '96 and have never changed character creation. Legit non- jerk observations would be great for discussion. ![]()
![]() So this a total noob question but is Pathfinder Chronicles: Campaign Setting still in print? Or is it just the PDF form? I found it on amazon once for an insane price of around $80. Ilibris does not have it at all. I also apologize because I know this has to have been covered but I didn't see it. I am at work so I can't spend quality time searching! ![]()
![]() I am yet another lost soul wandering homeless after my regular group lost their minds and began playing 4E. As I have dignity and self-respect I chose to leave the group as I don't consider board games D&D. Long story short I work 12 hour days and have little time for gaming. I would like to find an understanding group that could guide me through learning PbP gaming. I would be willing to play any class but prefer melee. Rangers, Fighters, Clerics geared for melee etc. I'm fairly interested in a Halfling Ranger (Warslinger trait swap) with a halfling sling staff. ![]()
![]() I don't want to be blasphemous but I really don't care for the PFRP current campaign setting. Just like I didn't like Greyhawk for D&D. I feel like Golarion has lost the feel of classic fantasy by adding things like gunslingers. Thus making PFS events lose that feel for me too. I understand that I can just not include them in my home campaign but when I use a setting I like to be able embrace all of it and not feel like I am completely manipulating it and changing what it is. Anyone have thoughts on this? For or against I would like to hear everyones side! ![]()
![]() I would like to make a halfling ranger and use a halfling sling staff as my ranged weapon. Can anyone tell me if the typical feats such as point blank shot, rapid reload, or many shot etc. can be applied to this? lots of these feats seem specifically tailored to the bow and do not seem to work for the crossbow for sure and slings. |
