@Thalasou - you got left on the second floor, too. I moved your token next to Aerith's. Hargus charges forwards and joins in on the attack on Lotheed-Casava. Attack, Charge: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 12 + 2 = 15
But he might as well be the blind one the way he whiffs.

Ah, okay. I haven't read some of our newcomers' backstories, so there may be reference to him in there, I guess. My character has a different target in mind.

I don't think we really do, apart from seeing him at the gala. We didn't agree to execute him for the leaders of the Beggarwood. Let's deal with the teleportation circle and any other major threats.

"We need to go back to the county archives - that's where the original charter containing the Lotheed family stewardship of the land is." Hargus will return to the archive to look for the charter. Linguistics vs DC 18: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Hargus grunts. "Bartelby apparently didn't like Martella, so he paid some amateur to paint over her with his favorite hunting dog. Disgraceful. I wonder if there's a way to restore the painting to its original form - if only to get rid of the blemish."

Hargus frowns and continues hacking at the wooden bear, as well as bashing it with his buckler. Attack, TWF: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 12 - 2 = 23
Buckler, TWF: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 9 - 2 = 27

Strictly speaking, I'm Hargus in this guise, not Eregos. Hargus set the count down and whispered, "The frontal assault will be quick, but noisy. If we can put them all to sleep at once, it would be preferable."

With the Count disarmed of his magic, Hargus set about tying him up so they could carry him with the group. Once done, he hefted the count and moved with the others in the direction Sara had gone.

Once tied up, Hargus makes sure to remove anything that the count might be able to use to escape. "Bimble, could you help me remove any magic items from the count?"

Hmmm...let's see...Strength 16, Con 14...Eregos/Hargus is probably built like an NFL fullback, so probably around 225 lbs? If it helps, Sveng, I'm a little over 5'8" and have what would be called a lanky build (although I've developed a bit of a gut over the past few years), and I weigh in at 185. If I put the exercise in to lose the widening of my midsection, I could probably get down to 160. 170 lbs would make sense for a tall yet slim nonathletic build, however.

After their first night at the Silent Horse, Eregos left the inn and returned to his tenement to pack up his remaining things. He made sure to look as though he was hurriedly packing to leave town, as though caught in a crime and desperately trying to evade detection. Even so, he listened to what the people in the poorer parts of town were saying, what they thought, for any such information would let them know which way the political winds blew. That taken care of, he returned to the Silent Horse, and then Hargus went on a shopping spree, acquiring some new weapons and armor. He kept his old, though, for when Eregos needed to make an appearance, so he could keep up with the second identity. When Martella summoned them to the meeting, he went as Hargus - the more accepted persona around the upper classes. During the carriage ride, he looked at Sveng, who seemed somewhat nervous for some reason. He bows as Sveng does once he sees they are in the presence of Princess Eutropia. He listened carefully to her words. Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 She seemed genuine - and there was the simple matter he had been in the room when assassins began slaughtering the Senators. She was, however, choosing her words with care. He suspected that she was trying to keep the identities of her 'dear friends' hidden, and he would allow her that distinction. This presented a great opportunity, though - if Princess Eutropia won the throne, he could get the Villarius name restored with an imperial declaration. He might even have the chance to speak with other nobles and see what their thoughts on his family were. He knew he would never get this chance from Pythareus, and the question of Succession was likely to come down to one of those two. In that case, how cold he refuse an offer such as this? "Your Highness, I am honored by your offer, and will be happy to assist you in your claim for the throne."

Also, can be an effective lie detector with skill bonuses. I only have the archery because I am delicate. Okay, great. In that case, I suggest that you focus on picking up archery feats as we go, starting with Rapid Shot at level 5 and Manyshot once you have a base attack bonus of +6. From there, get Clustered Shots to deal with DR. That will allow you to be competent and effective enough at archery to still contribute when we do have combats, while allowing you to focus more on your skills. Regardless, I would make increasing Dexterity your priority, since just because this is a more skill heavy adventure path, that doesn't mean there's no combat. It is Pathfinder, after all.

I wouldn't say no to a better ranged option than my 4 daggers, but it's also clearly a secondary weapon for me, to be used if I can't reach enemies. Of course, I have a Draconic bloodrager/Dragon Disciple in a Giantslayer game who ended up with the magic longbow as loot because no one else wanted it, so it's not the first time I've gotten a magic item that ends up getting used as a backup.

A side effect of actually being able to afford medium armor, a boosted Dex bonus, and the Taldan Duelist feat giving an extra +1 AC when I fight with a falcata and buckler. I also get a +2 bonus to Acrobatics, but that doesn't affect AC. From a skill standpoint, I think we all get 6 + Int mod skill points per level. We are very good on skills. I agree with Valeria that we need to make sure Sydney is still in. I do think we should recruit someone else who can take the front line, regardless - unless we fight in a lot of bottlenecks, a group of two or three melee enemies will be able to just move around me out of my reach and go for the squishies in back while another occupies me. Being able to create a defensive line would be good for the group's survival.

I believe it would be me - I have 16 Strength, which I think is better than everyone else's, and I'll be putting all stat boosts in Strength going forward. I just wanted to even out my odd Dexterity score - plus it will help me boost my AC until I get Heavy Training. Incidentally, while I'm not done gearing myself out yet, I have boosted my AC from 19 to 25, and I'm getting my preferred equipment. I also no longer suffer armor check penalties on Acrobatics, Escape Artist, or Stealth checks, cause the Vigilante strikes from the shadows, a ghost until his appearance strikes fear into the hearts of the villains he hunts. At least, I will once I get Startling Appearance.
