I gotta say, just not getting into this one for some reason. I think I will drop out of it now as opposed to letting it get to far along and make the decision. I'm sorry guys. I'll still be seeing those of you in the Hell's Rebel's game though as that one I am having more fun with. good luck to you.

Human

Sorry, having trouble getting into this one just now so it took me a bit.

Action 1
"Well, from my letter they're building a new a-team, they asked me to come and help you new people survive the experience. That and they wanted me out of the temple, they said I'm cured!" He looked down at Ranger and rubbed the "dog's" ears, "But we fooled them didn't we boy, they're the crazy ones." Mardok looked at Arodic and said, "Well of course Ranger's a dog, as for invisible, I don't think he's invisible, I see him just fine, can't you?"

You see no auras where ranger is to be though Mardok has several on his person.

Action 2
Mardok really didn't care about the warnings, he'd seen it all before and was having a better time enjoying his meal. "Mmmm, this is the best food I've had in years, sure beats the food in the hospital." He takes some of the food and holds it down for Ranger then surreptitiously eats it himself.

Action 3
The nuisances that decided to cause problems really would be beneath his notice, but he couldn't resist the chance for some fun at their expense. He turns and stares at the men, "Crazy, I'm not crazy are you crazy?" His eyes take on a look of insanity and bulge slightly as he starts to shake as he stands, "I'm not crazy, you're crazy, it takes a crazy person to know a crazy person..." he gains a confused look, "waitwaitwaitwaitwait, if that's the case then I have to be crazy to know that you're crazy and you're crazy to know I'm crazy so really we're all crazy." He throws his hands up in disgust and says, "Ahhhh s%*#, sanity was overrated anyway."

He acts as though the dog has gotten up and moved over growling at teh men, making the sound himself then looks worried, 'Wooooh Ranger, down boy, no Ranger, don't...don't, don't pee on that man's leg Ranger, that's not good boy stop it." He starts tugging backwards on nothing and says, "Get back he...crap, too late, he already did it. Sorry bout that, he's normally such a good dog."

Perform (acting): 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15

Human

Makes sense to me, I think we had five pc's at the time he wrote that. In that case Tag!

Human

Action 1
Standing outside the tower gates is a mid sized man, he has on a breastplate, a well made sword of cold iron, and a very well crafted longbow of rare darkwood. He wears a pair of quivers and as well as another pair sticking out of his pack. He seems to be holding something in his hand, but in reality nothing is there. Standing with him is a lovely young woman with long blonde wearing the garb of a priestess of Iomedae.

"Alright Mardok, here you are, just go inside to the barracks like they asked you to. You'll be just fine, now go and do us proud show them our clinic is worth the trouble it causes." She had a winning a smile and was fairly attractive. Mardok looked a lot like a sad puppy at being sent inside, but he knew he needed to go, and duty has been the one thing that would get him out of his madness.

"Alright Nurse Betty, I guess I have to, tell the gang I'll be back with ore stories soon enough."

Laughing Betty said, "I'm sure they'll look forward to it." She looked at a nearby spot and kneeled down, reaching out her hand and making a motion like she's stroking a dog's ears, "We'll all miss you and Ranger, you've done a lot of good Mardok, don't forget it." She stands, and with that leaves.

Drawing up his courage, Mardok made his way into the tower barracks, It's been awhile, last I saw this place there were far more people. Looking around Mardok knew that he was one of the shorter people in here, and possibly one of the most dangerous. None of that mattered to him really, Mardok didn't even want to be here, he was told he had little option, he was needed to keep a new group from suffering the fate his had and that was enough to convince him, at least for now. When he went to the mess hall he saw the table of four people and looked down at the floor to his right, "What's that Ranger? You think we should go talk to them? Lead the way boy." The rather odd man walked to the table, seemingly holding onto and invisible leash with an equally invisible dog tugging on it. He reached the group and said, "This seat taken?" Regardless of the answer he has a seat and then reaches down to his side to pet Ranger. "Howdy I'm Mardok and this is Ranger. What's going on around here, I haven't been in touch for years now?"

Perform (acting) for his dog interactions.: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21

Who are these people at the table that everyone seemed to be avoiding?

Human

Whoopsie, I'll get something posted after work.

Human

Not entirely sure who the ubers are, haven't really looked. I'm usually willing to rebuild, at least to an extent, though uberism isn't necessarily a problem as they usually suck at everything but that focus. As long as they're good at only one or two things it's not an issue, when they become a one man party is where trouble begins. Ultimately the only way to determine a solution is for us to look and see who's uber and who's not then meat in the middle somewhere.

Remind me to tell you later about the one man party monk, it was horrifying.

Human

I think, since I've already got him built, I'll stick with Mardock as he currently is, a fighter (archer). Hate changing a concept once I get it finished. I might try a summoner if he dies or something but not right now.

Human

I am actually tempted to rebuild the summoner route since we ditched the auto bonus progression. Was going to make them dual archers but the lack of magic items for the eidolons was going to ruin the build. I might flesh one out for kicks since there is another week til stary though if you want to do a summoner Gabi then by all means feel free.

Human

There, got my equipment fixed since we aren't using the auto bonus prog now.

Human

Got my languages fixed and my skill points tweaked slightly. In addition I found that I hadn't added my hit points in, also corrected that.

Human

Noticed I need to do my languages still, I'll do it when I get home again.

Human

There, got Mardok done. The info is in the alias, let me know what you think of it.

Human

Because a +1 bow doesn't give a +1 dmg, only atk, unless they Chang something or I misread it. It conferred abilities and counted for dr purpose but not damage. It might have been a change I missed or a misread since I've not dug through that as that. I'm good with your ruling Fabian.

Human

Finally got my character mostly build, the fluff will be done after a training meeting at work this evening. I've settled on an fighter (archer). As a question, with the bonus progression, how does that affect arrows? You can only attune the bow or the arrows, not both. Will you allow the attunement of the bow to apply the damage bonus as well as the attack bonus?

Human

I'll get something finished this weekend, sadly it may not be til Sunday evening when I'm finished due to working this weekend.

Human

Sooo yeah, turns out those automatic bonus progression rules aren't designed in a way that they function for animal companions/familiars/eidolons. They never took them into account and so we'll say goodbye to the summoner idea.

Looking like either a swashbuckler now or some kind of archer, still working on that part.

Human

Unchained summoners drastically rebalance spells and heavily altered eidolons evolutions.

Human

I'm currently bouncing between a regular swashbuckler now or an unchained summoner. I'll hopefully have my decision nailed down by tomorrow evening. With the current party make up I'm actually leaning more the summoner route but either way this guy is gonna be fun.

If I did go summoner how would the automatic bonus progression interact with that? Since I can't buy those enchantments would the eidolon get the effects for itself as well? If so what level, the same or later?

Human

Since your intending to focus on the whip I'll be going standard swashbuckler. Getting the swashbuckler version nearly completed.

Human

Currently building as a human swashbuckler (mysterious avenger) 4, but I might change it based on what the party make up is like. I considered going summoner (unchained) as well but I am still not entirely sure yet.
