Gregory hardly notices the sand, and barely glances at the statue as he approaches it.

Gregory will move into the corner of the room. He will have a readied action: If the enemies are more than one, and if Gregory can get at least three in a fifteen-foot cone, then he will cast color spray against them.

Totally waiting for action beyond the arch, Gregory hardly notices anything.

Arthrax, you forgot the "+2" from flanking.
If the elemental is still alive, then Gregory will aid another.

Arthrax will get another '+2' to attack.

Gregory will shoot his crossbow at the elementsl provoking an attack of opportunity attack into melee and damage: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 - 4 = 11d10 ⇒ 10, then walk past the elemental provoking another attack of opportunity from it and will drop his crossbow and get out his punching dagger.
