As the greensteel cobra still seems to be quite active and eminently dangerous, X-302 continues to attempt to disable it as per standing instructions, ignoring the appearance of the malicious hellhound. The reservoirs along its arm continue to leak, spraying the construct with more aerosolized adhesive - somewhere in the tangled mess of pipes that make up its arm, an emergency shutoff valve engages, but the spark thus produced arcs along the colloidal suspension of glue and grounds itself firmly between the mechanical cobra's scales.

As the constructs' fangs sink into the tubes and vials that make up its body, a handful of small cracks appear in X-302's form, puncture marks in the reservoirs that hold its cocktails of alchemical liquid. When the 'snakes' go to bite the golem, each of the constructs receives a 'face' (or the construct equivalent) full of some lively alchemical concoction as the foul substances begin to leak from X-302's form.

Seemingly coming to a decision, X-302's mechanical hand descends on the cobra trying to bite him, its syringe-tipped fingers scrabbling against the other construct's carapace as it tries and fails to pin down the slippery machine. After a few moments, its hand balls into a fist, and it slams the cobra on the head twice, attempting to alter its liveliness to a level more suitable for transport. As it pummels the other construct, one of the reservoirs along its arm begins to leak, spraying the snake-like creature with a high-pressure, high-temperature stream of one of Khikril's catastrophically failed formulae for a universal solvent, which quickly hardens and sticks to the floor as it coats the construct.

At its creator's command, X-302 strides forward, nudging past Jek to get into the room and adjacent to one of the other constructs that its master is so intrigued by. When it gets there, however, it stops, straightening, and its cylindrical head swivels between the metallic snake and the oversized syringes it has in place of fingers. Very good for distributing substances, not quite so good for grabbing a presumably hostile fellow construct. Through the porthole in the front of the head, the brain within bobs as the golem seems to contemplate its best course of action.

Behind the mad alchemist, the alchemical golem finally arrives at the edge of the landing, having pushed its way laboriously through the thronging crowds of planeswalkers and tourists. Seeing its creator fly over its head, bound for yet another area, its dome head moves to track the itaraak impassively, but after a moment, its shoulders seem to slump with resignation as it turns and wades back into the crowd.

At its creator's command, the towering alchemical golem launches another explosive vial full of random alchemical material over the heads of the warriors in front of it, detonating firmly behind the bulk of the mane force.

As its creator moves in to heal Enoch, X-302 launches another explosive vial from its arm. Unlike the last volley, however, this one flies right into the towering creature's mandibles before detonating with a crackling field of static, sparks arcing along the creature's metallic shell.

At the back of the group, the golem straightens as its creator relays its command. Raising one hand, an aperture in the palm of its hand opens, and with a soft whoomph of pneumatics, a glass vial shoots from its hand, arcing high over the heads of Khikril's newfound allies to detonate against the bebilith's metallic hide.

Behind the insane alchemist, his golem finally manages to catch up with the rest of the group, stomping into the clearing alongside Nik. Noticing the new arrivals and the fellow construct, its domed head swivels, scanning the area, before fixing on the silver golem before the gate. For a few moments, its head rotates back and forth between the golem and its master, as though weighing the benefits and downsides of eternal vigil in such a secluded area versus remaining with its insane creator.

Behind its creator, X-302 maneuvers clumsily through the Guildhall Ward, not breaking its stride as shop signs Khikril brushed out of his way with his wings swing back to slam into the side of its domed head. As the motley group makes its way to Ysgard, X-302 stands stoically as the others bask in the glory of the paradise plane, the brain in its core bobbing slightly as an errant gust of wind rocks the machine gently. The golem's head turns to track Khikril as the half-mad strix takes to the air, then with an intangible air of resignation, it begins trundling along the coastline after its creator.

Behind the eccentric alchemist, the rickety contraption stops obediently, the brain in its core bobbing as it steps back, awaiting further instructions. As an opportunistic knight of the cross trade passes by on the other side of the street, enviously eyeing the bizarre alchemist's fine toos, the golem's armored head turns to track him, pistons along its arm activating as it pumps some foul alchemical cocktail into the syringes that serve it as fingers. The thief, thinking better of robbing the alchemist, continues on his way slightly hurriedly.
