Then fight smarter, get behind it if you can Geno made sure her spear's head was tied correctly. don't push it into corner, it can only hit one of us at a time, I'll draw it's attention if it comes to it. Geno sets herself second in line, right behind Arda. just being warry

Geno hands hesto to the closest male and picks her shield up. I'm coming, she points at one of the newest warriors, You, take my post, I'm going with them. A Jaguar means death for our hunters, and you need a steady warrior to guide the kill. she then turns the the rest of the group. who else wishes to prove your strength against the hunter? Geno waits for a response.

Yes, I dotted and deleted the post so it didn't take up space:) just waiting for everyone to get ready before I go ahead Here is a race I have a concept for,but can't seem to get it right Dimmer: paizo's been on and off all day for me :/ Dimmer where mortals, but deals with beings outside the realms has manipulated their forms. When they died, they became dimmer, living who once where dead. Type:Humanoid(dimmer)
SR, lesser: 6+lvl(2rp) Shadow resistance: 5cold/lightning(1rp) Spell-like abilities(3rp): 1/day gasious form

That race is a bit pricy, but with a good concept :) I have several other races I could have as examples, it isn't as simple as copy and paste Here is a plant race I made with 16rp
oakheart: oakhearts are humanoid tree people. They live in forests and often join a adventure out of curiosity. They have no gender and often produce berries. The berries contain seeds which eventually become a oakheart as well. They rarely are found in groups of more than 2, and are never attached to any specific area.
Type: plant(10rp)
traits
Environmentalist: oakheart gain a racial +2 to handle animal, and knowledge (nature) is always a class skill.(2rp) Berry growth: 1/day an oakheart produces berries as the spell goodberry(1rp) Treespeak: oakheart can talk with plants as if under the speak with plants spell.(1rp) Low-light vision: can see twice as far in dim light(-rp) Plant traits: Plants are immune to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, patterns, and phantasms).
Total rp: 16

Here is a semi-aquatic freshwater race I made: The Quillick:
Quillick This race is thin, bipedal, and aquatic. Its head is elongated, with large black eyes.four tentacles hide a sharp beak for its mouth. Females have large frills on their spine, collar, tail, and underside of their limbs. Males lack these frills. Quillick are a logical and understanding race. Most lack social skills, but are smart and quick. Females dominate the society, being treated as royalty. They are treated as such due to the role of bearing children. They get along well with elves, but find humans and dwarves as stubborn and slow. Gnomes are viewed as curious beings who tend to be self-destructive. Halflings are rarely in relation with quillick. Quillick live in freshwater, particularly large lakes where they can build their cities. Type:Aberration(aquatic)(3RP)
Total RP: 12
The RP is 12, and it's a well rounded race

Actually, as a plant, you have these bonuses:
Plus, you are unaffected by spells that target humanoids, as well as still applying for spells that heal and buff. Being a plant is quite worth it. The only type I'm sure we can't be are undead and construct. Yes, dragon is a bit overpriced, but that's because of the Traits it applies to.

And my character would wound the male that tried to do that badly. Perhaps she'd ram the shaft of her spear up somewhere it shouldn't go. She's likely find her mate herself... But she probably won't be doing that first life anyways.

Yes,but all fey are magical. We'd have to have very strong magical ties to nature. And most fey are wild creatures who have no true society. Nymphs are just beautiful defenders of nature. I'm sure you know what Fawn and satyr are known for... Fey cannot happen without magic. The closest would be monstrous humanoid. And frankly, I want an advanced race, one that will inovate and surpass humans. To be honest, humans only advantage in evolution is our higher intelligence and our ability to communicate with ease. A monstrous humanoid can be strong and fast. Smart and devious, or small yet powerful. We could eventually gain the small size and be strong, or gain the large size and be quick. It's all about the combination of magic and nature, and science.
Female - Fighter 1 (HP:11 AC:14 (10 +3 hide +1 Lt.shield ) FORT:4 REFL:0 WILL:0 BAB:+1)
Well, evolution could easily be effected by magic... A god of insects comes down and says:"insects are the truth!" Turns entire clan into bugs. Not saying that will happen, just saying that it could. Any of the strange types would almost always be magical. For fey, one would have to edge on the line between plant and animal... In fact, a plant race would be interesting! To be honest, I would like to go dragon! The whole idea of being an awesome magical reptile! The number one thing that may change our type, artifacts or cursed magic.

What I believe should happen is that as Traits collect we could possibly change our type. The two things that would need to happen are the similarities between our traits, and the traits of the type. Then we need the ability to become that type. Ex. Aberration have DV.60 ft and are otherwise alive. The only other thing they need is a strange anatomy (such as insectile appearance), alien mindset,(begin viewing things in a weird or strange way) or strange powers.(such as psionics or lazer vision)
Female - Fighter 1 (HP:11 AC:14 (10 +3 hide +1 Lt.shield ) FORT:4 REFL:0 WILL:0 BAB:+1)
You have the bonus to stats at 4rp, but there is no reduction to stats. Those would be -4rp to be balanced, but two bonuses and a reduction is 0rp to 2rp depending on the stats. You should look in qualities before giving the "advanced" Traits. Besides, you shouldn't give the option for advanced traits until we have a few standard ones.
Female - Fighter 1 (HP:11 AC:14 (10 +3 hide +1 Lt.shield ) FORT:4 REFL:0 WILL:0 BAB:+1)
Yes, not to mention the deadly poisons and venomous snakes. X_X You could just as easily step on a poison dart frog as be attacked by a tiger. As for mentioning oceans, many of the creatures on that list are able to get up and walk on land, although they'd stay at the coast
Female - Fighter 1 (HP:11 AC:14 (10 +3 hide +1 Lt.shield ) FORT:4 REFL:0 WILL:0 BAB:+1)
Yes I did, thank you :) We could also add in some temperate climate creatures, but just a few. More likely a tiger or medium bears (black bear) to represent the native large cats and bears. We can also add warm ocean being that we're on the coast
Female - Fighter 1 (HP:11 AC:14 (10 +3 hide +1 Lt.shield ) FORT:4 REFL:0 WILL:0 BAB:+1)
Here is the list of common creatures: FOREST (WARM)
ANY TERRAIN (WARM)
ANY TERRAIN
I could possibly also add in warm hills, but I don't think I should...
Female - Fighter 1 (HP:11 AC:14 (10 +3 hide +1 Lt.shield ) FORT:4 REFL:0 WILL:0 BAB:+1)
Dragons live EVERYWHERE, if they don't fit, they make sure they can. Black and green dragons would be more common in our terrain type. Black actually are the smallest of the true dragons. And although green are larger, they are the most stubborn. So it's highly likely that there is at least a dragon in the jungle.
Female - Fighter 1 (HP:11 AC:14 (10 +3 hide +1 Lt.shield ) FORT:4 REFL:0 WILL:0 BAB:+1)
Yes, I guess so. But trees would be thicker around the edges and near water, but the trees deeper in would be mostly canopy. All the sun would be blocked from above, preventing trees from growing close together. We'll likely hunt apes and other medium sized game in the thicker areas, and larger game deeper in the jungle. Not to mention the possible creatures that alter landscapes (ex. Dragons and other Huge creatures).
Female - Fighter 1 (HP:11 AC:14 (10 +3 hide +1 Lt.shield ) FORT:4 REFL:0 WILL:0 BAB:+1)
Okay, I wasn't trying to be hostile. I'm just stating that slings are useful in jungles. In fact, so are bolas, and blowguns... About blowguns, you could possibly get allot of poisons in jungles.
Female - Fighter 1 (HP:11 AC:14 (10 +3 hide +1 Lt.shield ) FORT:4 REFL:0 WILL:0 BAB:+1)
You ever take a smooth stone flying over 50 mph into the face? It's like having a penny launched from a nailgun. It breaks bones. It kills people! It's leathal! Hell, Halflings in D&D are renowned for using them to kill the "bigfolk"
Female - Fighter 1 (HP:11 AC:14 (10 +3 hide +1 Lt.shield ) FORT:4 REFL:0 WILL:0 BAB:+1)
Actually bows where only invented 6400 years ago. We've been around quite longer than that. Because of this, I choose to have a sling. It is good for hunting, has a larger range than a shortspear, and is a weapon of war(David rolled a natural 20 on a called headshot against Goliath with a sling!) |
