I've been toying with the idea of running a Kingmaker game where the entire party are Dhampir (to begin with) that have been tasked by their Master(s) to use the Charter in order to bring about a Vampire Nation.

Although I have the imagination for this idea, I lack the experience. Anyone have any ideas what would need to be changed/added to the AP to make this work?

I'm starting this thread to catch the attention of those people who have already voted and won't check the vote thread again, or Andius' thread because they think it's conjecture.

Lee Hammock has stated that the pet system will include animal companions and familiars as well as cosmetic pets. These are core mechanics for Druids, Rangers and Wizards.

I would urge that people change their vote to get these prioritised so that they are working as soon as possible. Otherwise, a third of the classes will be under-powered at the beginning.

I'm looking to multi-class a Cavalier of the Order of the Blue Rose with Monk in order to build a Society character who doesn't kill on their missions.

I was thinking of the following levels:

1: Monk (Monk of the Four Winds)
2: Cavalier (Order of the Blue Rose)
3: Cavalier (gives Flat of the Blade ability)
4+: Monk

1st level: Dodge
1st level, Human: Mobility
1st level, Monk: Combat Reflexes
2nd level, Cavalier: Feint Partner
3rd level: Power Attack
4th level, Monk: Deflect Arrows

I've only mapped out the first couple of levels and I'm not sure what to do with the 20 point buy to give me a well-rounded character.

The plan is for this character to move around the battlefield, dealing damage and debuffing the opponents. I deliberated about taking Scorpion Style in place of Deflect Arrows for the fourth level Monk feat.

Anyone have any ideas or criticsm?

Chatter away!

Kerse, largest city in the Kalistocracy of Druma and settled on the banks of Lake Encarthan. It is here that you find yourself for a myriad of reasons. Whether you are chasing gold, looking for gainful employment or simply following the road where it leads you nonetheless spend some time walking the streets.

One thing that becomes evident over a couple of hours of traversing the city scape is that there are rumours of dark things in the foothills of the Five Kings Mountains, the mountain range that makes up one boundary of the Kalistocracy.

Most of the rumours seem to point at a local priest calling for adventurers. It appears that he is having little luck due to being unable to offer much in the way of recompense but the rumours seem to indicate a certain level of danger.

I'll be making up the encounter maps tomorrow afternoon/evening but feel free to introduce your characters for now.

Greetings,

I've recently come across Purple Duck Games' Purple Mountain and I'm looking to recruit a group in order to run through it. At the moment, three of the twenty levels are available but I'm looking to run it from beginning to end.

I'll be setting it in the Five Kings Mountains region, but this isn't an indicator to create a Dwarf, it just happens to be a handy place to put the dungeon.

I'm looking for well-constructed characters, with enough background and description to let me really get a feel for the characters.

Character Creation:
- 20 point buy.
- Two traits, both of which must match up with the background presented.
- Average starting wealth for class.
- A character sheet is not required, however I'm looking for a well thought out concept with background, description and personality. Make me feel like I know the character.
- The adventure will begin in the city of Kerse, in the Kalistocracy of Druma.

From a player point of view, I'm looking for dedicated players who are capable of posting at least one detailed post a day. I generally run games as the rules dictate but for play by post, I make one exception.

Group Initiative: I take an average initiative across the group and then roll for the group and each group of enemy combatants. This determines initiative order. When it is the turn of players, posts are taken in chronological order. This can mean that between turns, players will act at different times within their turn but reduces any requirements for ret-conning posts.

Closing date will be the 31st of December 2012, with a view to starting on the 3rd of January 2013.

First of all, let me start this thread by saying this is not a feature I would envision being in place within the first year or so of launch. With that said, onwards!

My main character will be evil. He will be evil and he will be a trader. A while back, I believe that Ryan said that established settlements would attract the attention of hordes of monstrous humanoids such as orcs and bugbears who would gather on the boundaries of these settlements and threaten to invade.

My request is this: allow me as an evil trader to be able to supply the NPCs with weapons and armour. Obviously I don't mean magical armour and weapons but rather masterwork armour and weapons. Why? Perhaps the settlement they are set to invade houses one of my competitors. Perhaps I was spurned by the King when I asked for his daughter's hand in marriage. Perhaps I need to offload a wagonload of stolen merchandise and they're handy. Regardless, it would add another layer of interaction for us evil roleplayers!

So I know that Goblinworks will need to pursue some kind of age rating that permits youngsters to play but the tabletop game does have drugs and poisons, so what's the feeling on whether we'd be able to manufacture these for use?

Hello,

I've recently found the VTT, Roll20.net and I'm looking to see if there would be interest in running one of the Paizo APs or possibly even Society games using the tool on a weekly basis. I've no preference for which AP would be run although I'd probably shy away from Kingmaker to begin with as it seems like an AP that would be best run in a group that has some experience together.

Who would be interested, and able to set aside an evening (as yet to be determined) for an ongoing game? I am GMT, btw.

I missed out on the first Kickstarter for the tech demo so I'm wondering if there are any plans above "maybe" to have a second Kickstarter of some description for the post-tech demo development? What I've read about the game so far has me fired up in a way I haven't been for a long time and I'd love to be able to help contribute.
