Male Orc Barbarian(Flesheater) 1
Fral sees the dwarf leave, and knowing that dwarf's weapons are often better that gnoll's, he follows him out. be gently pokes him on the back than points at his scythe. trying to let the darf know he wants him to make it better at least to masterwork quality :) he waits to see if the dwarf will respond

Fral stands and follows Giovanni. Gnoll:
[b]Witches? what wrong with that? many powerful gnoll women witches... beautiful and strong too.[b] Fral licks his chops at the thought. he quickly pulls his scythe from the floorboards, taking some of the floor with it, and heads outside with the hobgoblin.

turning to Giovanni, Fral smiles.
Gnoll:
I am Fral! Tribe Call me Bloodfeeder, but Fral no Eat other Gnoll so they attack Fral and chase me way. Fral chugs a decent amount of the mead down as he listens to Giovanni ask his question.
Gnoll:
You My only friend! Me no find anyone so friendly to me! Fral Would Feel...Uh...GOOD to come with you! watching the door, he sees the two woman enter. even as a gnoll he found them to be quite beautiful.
Male Orc Barbarian(Flesheater) 1
fral nods at the hobgoblin ans smiles. gnoll:
Help make friend of you the words are harsh, even for gnoll Fral heads back to his Booth and sits next to his scythe. once he gets his meal, he gourges on it without even lifting his hads to grab the meat, instead using one to hold the mead and the other to make sure the table doesn't fall over.

fral stand and goes to the bar, leaving his scythe stuck in the floor by his table. because he is hunched ove, he stands only 5'6", but he is burly and wide. he comes to the bartender and spits out a word that can only be described as throttled. " Meat!" he says, mangling the word with his canine mouth. I wait for several.... uhhh.... long time!
Male Orc Barbarian(Flesheater) 1
oh, so I'm comming up with a very short list of word fral can say... here it is: yes, no, meat, bed bed is interpreted more as sleep, and meat is interpreted more as food, and the yes and no are usually spouted out if he doesn't want to do something or if he thinks that's what need said.
Male Orc Barbarian(Flesheater) 1
having arrived just the other day, Fral sat in a dark corner of the bar, where no-one could really notice him. if he stood, he would tower over almost everyone in the bar, his scythe was placed firmly in the floorboards by the table. he had yet to order anything, mostly because he couldn't understand the barmaid. His attire was ratty and shoddily made, and the chainmail he wore looks like it was made using parts from several different sets. He watched others mill about the tavern and he huffed to himself. When will meat be here? He thought to himself.

dog? >_- Repeat In character... Fral sits at the tavern table... eating a rather large rack of ribs.

Really? well i guess you don't really ever see too many CM users... it basically applies one negative effect on your opponent for one round... depending on the attacker's choice. everything from blinded to nauseated. basically you throw dirt in their eyes or kick them where it hurts... oh didn't see it was already explained...

I enjoy the RP portion of PBP more than i enjoy the combat... by a marginal degree! The paizo dice gods just don't like anyone... except the overpowered characters... besides, if I've learned anything after all these characters, It's that you can do anything if you're smart enough. build an awoken bear in the bard/rouge classes, then max out your disguise skill...
Male Orc Barbarian(Flesheater) 1
well, as long as the two brutes don't get in the way of you other four... I think we could do pretty well. just use disguise to hide the fact that we are not humans :) most commoners don't look beyond the surface, and most NPC that do won't object unless they are an antagonist... or hate gnolls... and to be honest, GM Grog is supporting Giovanni although he only said it up on his second post that usually means he won't have a town attack up because we have two non-standard races... in fact he'll probably play off the fact that we do and make the game more interesting...
we WILL need another melee fighter(and some ranged combat would be nice). Giovanni even has a rhino, a tank in every sense of the word. I'm highly suggesting him, we can find many ways to get past traps other that simply having a rouge get them... or i can try to intimidate and draw everything to me with my 16 AC in rage... sure, i become a giant at later levels, but I can't take a hit from EVERY enemy... even if i try to. just thinking about it... I MAY DIE EARLY ON!!

I'm pretty sure most people are going to be hostile from the start and still trying to figure out the likelihood that you'd be seen as anything other than an enemy in Heldren, where we start. Adding another monstrous humanoid t that point is just setting the whole party up for disaster. yeah, every human outpost... but what about every orc, giant, and otherwise non-human camp/tribe we come upon? They may actually just begin as unfriendly rather than hostile on sight. we may be able to talk our way out of most major combat :) ... or we could get a good speaker as well. someone with high diplomacy can talk to most of the human communities and get them from attacking us :) ... besides I'm sure most of the outposts would have begun as unfriendly anyways.

Cordelia Beltane wrote: That's going to become a real problem when we have to interact with pretty much any other civilized outpost and liable to gut us attacked fro the outset or at least always start out dealing with hostile social situations. well... at least he can talk to people... I can't... if i see anyone being hostile I have two things in mind: "am I hungry" and "Who is the Strongest among them". he just hates witches... It would be great RP when you guys have to get me to stop... I'll eventually take a rank in a linguistics in order to learn common...eventually ;P and no... I'm not an animal... If anything i'd be treated like a Magical Beast... Edit:I was just reading the rules on the archetype and... if I where to have good Int, you'd still have this issue because the total of Int penalty during rage amounts up to a total of -6 at lvl 11...
Male Orc Barbarian(Flesheater) 1
Giovanni is really pushing to be a player... and i think it would be interesting when half the group is monstrous species. for communication clarification:
I'm treating anything you tell fral as if I'm an animal companion that doesn't always listen... i understand basics of common, such as "yes","no", "stop", and "OMG run away!". this should help me... stop from walking into every trap because i can't understand you telling me that you see an Ice shooting magic rune on the wall. however, when i rage, this understanding goes a little... down the drain. Whenever I rage i get a -2 to my Int, then when i use my flesh-eater powers i get an additional -2... reducing me to the absolute minimum of 3 Int... so i basically become as smart as a dumb magical animal... I still understand "yes" and "no"... but anything other than that starts to blur the lines between what you want me to do and what i think you want me to do...
He does seem a good choice for a second melee class, and the tracking skills would be great in this campaign... the only thing is we won't have a trapper... |
