If a Paizo homage to the Slenderman made it into Bestiary 3, I would be both delighted by the epicness and horrified of the epic piece of artwork that is sure to follow it.

I was thinking the same thing just the other night.

What gives? No previews, no updates, no nothing aside from the preliminary info on the new classes.

This is the book that I want to be as much a "must have" as the APG turned out to be. So far, however, what little has been released is stuff I'm not thrilled with (the classes) and there's been no love since. I can't think of any other book in the RPG line that's received this little attention.

So... why?

The lack of previews makes me sadface.

So are we to assume at this point that Ultimate Combat previews just aren't going to happen?

It seems that way. I'm highly disappointed.

Gunmage?

Better tell my group that an Outlaw Star themed campaign is almost inevitable now. :D

C'mon monk love...

And please let the Big Game Hunter archetype look like Saxton Hale and/or Theodore Roosevelt!

"A complete system covering vehicle combat, including wagons, boats, airships, and more "

YES

I imagined the same thing! *high five*

... that being said WHERES THE PREVIEWS

Good question! When will the previews begin?

I am also wondering this. If there aren't going to be any, please tell us!

Haha! Excellent work. That other thread deserved this.

Obviously, you do not read my posts unless there is something that you disagree with in there. English is not my primary language. Actually, my primary language is so different then English that there is no comparison between the two.

I have expressed the desire to clean up my English and make it better.

That's obviously not a desire you wish to fulfill soon, because earlier you said you were too lazy to hold down shift to capitalize I in your writing. How can you judge someone for destroying language when you blatantly do it yourself? It doesn't matter that English is your second language. What f I started complaining about poor grammar while butchering your native tongue?

It has happened a few times already. I came to GM a good story i made over three weeks, just to find out they wanted to play MMO on paper. I am not playing with those groups any more. I like to differentiate my tabletop RPG experience from a video game thank you very much. If i wanted to play a video game, i would have been sitting in my home, alone, and playing a video game.

No one said you had to play with anyone like that. The serious problem is that you take a little pet peeve and you start flaming people for it. I recently saw another thread you started for the exact same reason. You are entitled to your opinion, but don't start bashing people with it.

Hama wrote:
You are forgiving enough, i have learned that some things should not be allowed. It makes for a better game. No player has yet left my group for asking them not to use MMO terminology.

In your opinion, yes. So, what is the point of your whole argument? This whole time you argue about what YOU like, with no factual proof. Some people call that trolling. Just because you say it makes it a better game, doesn't make it universally true. Personally, I come from a very deep role playing group. We used to take our roles very seriously. So, many of your same rules would apply to our games. That doesn't give me, or you, the right to tell others how to play the game. Goodluck with your games. They do sound fun!

I'd go the "Find another GM" route, and I don't even use those terms in my games. You just sound like kind of a Nofun McKillsagame.

Well, you would have to ask my players then. They seem to have fun and rarely let me play, as they ALL claim that my GM-ing skills are superior to theirs, and that I'm a good storyteller. After every session, i ask if there was something wrong, some complaints and whether they had fun playing. Unless they are lying to me, they are.

I just have some principles that i hang on to and have no desire to stop doing so. I like myself the way i am, and though i see lot of room for improvement, letting others get away with crippling grammar and speech is one thing i will not.

Practice what you preach.

I just can't wrap my head around being this rigid about gaming terms, especially when everyone understands what's being said (or could with five seconds of explanation). I mean, really, how can you let something like the word "mob" ruin your gaming group? It's absurd.
Because mob implies that the monster you put against your players will behave in an MMO fashion. And if your players use MMO terminology a lot, they will soon start treating the game as an MMO. And the game is not an MMO, it is insulting to compare any tabletop RPG with an MMO, even the 4th edition, although my opinion on that has been stated in a now locked thread.

You have no way to prove that. Do not base your arguments off of flawed logic. Just because something could happen, does not mean it will. Time to take a step back and reflect. If you wish to isolate yourself from your friends, that is your choice. Many people here are forgiving enough to let words like 'tank' slide.

I just hate mixin the two.

Thus i take offense when somebody treats my game as an mmo. Or worse expects my game to behave like an mmo.

Also, i jus't don't like simplifying things that need no simplification.

I swear to atheism, if i ever hear somebody actualy say lol instead of laughing, i'm gonna smack them.

Which I why I posted my silly little comment.

You don't like the way people talk. There's nothing wrong with that. But getting mad at them for it is silly.

Using MMO jargon does not instantly mean they are expecting/treating your game like an MMO.

I would much rather you kick a player for actually treating your game like an MMO instead of kicking him because he said 'tank' or 'mob'.

And I would hope you would ask him to stop first instead of booting him without warning.

+1 Fight the bigotry!

Hama always has something to complain about. *facepalm*

Yeah, but they would chuckle everytime the teacher called "Dick Buttons" name at attendance.

You don't get the point. There will always be cruel people. If they don't make fun of your name, then they will pick on how you look. I'm sure not everyone named Dick has had issues with their name. Whether or not a name is silly or not is entirely opinion. How about parents teach their kids not to laugh at other people? They don't have to and most won't.

The May 21st apocalypse may just happen now that there is no Macho Man to save us. :(

I'm not sure if this has been asked already, but are there any plans for a an improvement of the crafting system in PF?

Personally, I believe that if you don't like the books you don't have to buy them or use them. I would like to see more content for GM's to use. Although I welcome gunslingers, I won't use them in my current campaign. Although, I'm sure I'll be running another campaign that will allow gunslingers, ninjas, etc. in the future. Why deny me such rules when I'm perfectly willing to use them. Can't we all just get along? :D
I have always done my own world from scratch, and yet I love all the campaign sourcebooks - they provide a wealth of material (and the rules content is good as well).

Don't get me wrong. If your world is similar, then they can provide tons of useful information.Personally, I've thought of recreating my campaign world for that very reason. I haven't found much pathfinder campaign sourcebook material for a world like mine. Even if I never used their campaign sourcebooks, I would never want them to stop printing them.

Not to bust in on your questions thread, but the spell Anthropomorphic Animal just made me facepalm. I had to share somewhere, this looked like a good spot, since I'd have someone to at least be able to look it up and share the facepalm.

Anthropomorphic Animal: As if the animal companion and animal intelligence rules weren't controversial enough.

Can you elaborate a little more? I'm curious.
