That is my main problem, this is the only AP I don't own yet (Saving to get the Anniversary Edition). Other than that I am one of the only local DMs so I don't get to game very much myself, so if I can I would like to stay as a player.

So I am thinking that this game died. If we can find someone to take over being GM then we can continue, if not then good luck to each of you in finding another game.

So, it has been about a week since any news from the DM. Who is still around?

The last time he popped in, he said that there was some kind of health scare with his child. So hopefully things didn't get worse, as a parent myself that would kill me.

Or want it. But yeah, the general idea is that the party comes first and you come second.

Calkin wanders around the festival viewing all of the different forms of entertainment. The dancing, the singing, the fighting, everything interests him and his wanderlust, seeing what the world has brought for this glorious day.

Don't forget that you can use wands of your own class spell list without using UMD. That means that with wands you can prepare more combat oriented spells rather than healing (both HP and ailments).

Other than that I am all for any kind of art/gem/misc objects we find that no one immediately wants should go towards the party fund. This is beyond any percentage we decide to have.

Another option that I just thought about is that we can have all the gold be in the party fund with everyone "withdrawing" when they need it. It is similar to something one of my past groups used to do.

Calkin finishes a joke he was telling one of the children attending the festival, about a horse, a priest, and a goblin, just as the mayor reaches the podium. "Enough jokes for now, lets listen to what has to be said" Calkin then grabs a piece of fancy food and takes a bite out of it.

Realizing that his short nature makes it difficult for him to see the mayor from here he attempts to move closer by ducking and maneuvering through the crowd.

"So wait. Your not all just characters within my dreams of adventuring?" Calkin asks curiously, "Well I guess it wouldn't be the strangest thing this world has ever seen."

Calkin then gleefully moves towards the festivities hoping to get himself some food, as he is starving after his first fight with something more than sewer rats.

I think everything went well. And personally like that you, the DM, take control of the character if things get slow/behind. That way if I/anyone can't jump on when everyone else is on it speeds things up.

Calkin turns his head to Goat C and screams, "Erya Göt Öskra!".

"Goats, of all things. It had to be goats." Calkin raises his hands high into the air, "Vindur Brynja"!
Calkin cast Mage Armor upon himself as he ducts behind a pillar.

Good news, so far the power hasn't gone out. Bad news, the fire hasn't gotten any better. I just hope that all the firefighters stay safe out there.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I may be in and out over the next few days. I am located in Northern California and we are having a major fire in the area. PG&E will be turning power off at times to accommodate the fire crews working near power lines. Hopefully things get better and I should be 100% within a few days.
