I don't think we will be able to plan who with who, since in the heat of combat it may be difficult to stay with that plan. I would say Tomaru takes whoever he can, and then Everon can pick up the rest since he can move quickly wherever he needs to with his constant flight.

Also, I think I may possibly speak for all of us when I say "I don't even know where to begin". Perhaps an idea of what options we may have?

We just need to identify a spot on the outskirts of the city we could teleport to safely if need be. Then simply step in/out of the boundary, and teleport again if need be.

Unfortunately for fireball in particular, the spell description specifies it creates "almost no pressure", so it's less of an explosion and more of a wave of fire.

Everon winces as the boulder comes at him, but it bounces off his defenses. 28 temp hp is up, puts it down to 3 temp hp left.

Everon looks up at the giant that hit him, a startlingly fierce frown on his face. He retrieves a small bird bone from his spell component pouch and keep his gaze on the giant. "Loerchik xtirl." He snaps the bone in his hand, and from his helm fires a piece of dark grey dust at the giant.

Spells

Indeed, although my build focus tends to be on crippling debuffs, my 8th level spells that are regularly prepared are Horrid Wilting and Destruction. Although do note that I'll get a few more 8th level spells to pick from...I may just pick up some utility stuff at this point though. Greater Teleport? Greater Scrying?

I've considered Death Clutch, but unfortunately it's evil so definitely off the table. Not sure why it's evil to be honest, doesn't appear particularly nasty or mean compared to my other options.

There's Irresistible Dance, which even on a save causes a target to lose at least an entire round of actions and provoke from everybody around them with a reduced AC.

Moment of Prescience is always an option, basically guarantees that I can make a single check when I need to. Can be a little tricky with PbP though.

Trap the Soul...ah, Trap the Soul. That may be a wise decision to pick up to ensure when we kill the big bad that we can actually keep him dead. However we would need a gem worth probably over 20000gp in order to actually use it.

Hexes

Regenerative Sinew certainly isn't bad, but I figured with a cleric in the party it wasn't particularly needed.

Part of me is also considering just burning all my 8th level spells on Nine Lives on the other party members. It would take away my biggest nuke spells...but wow would it make us really really hard to kill.

Through a very bizarre set of circumstances in a Kingmaker campaign our level 17 gestalt characters were confronted by a horde of boggarts. In the original encounter it was like over 50 boggarts, definitely not able to be handled, and the idea is that you had to be diplomatic or flee. But my level 17 wizard created a cloudkill and summoned a massive air elemental who used his tornado ability to fly around and chuck the boggarts into the cloudkill, who had HD so low that they all died instantly upon contact with it. Pretty brutal.

As the wendigo erupts through the ceiling and bites Lym, Everon cries out. "Don't let it flee with her!" He reaches out a clawed hand towards the wendigo. "Yobhakcho chikohk!" A dark pulse is felt through the room as Everon grasps his hand closed.

Casting Major Curse. DC 26 will save to negate.

GM if possible I would like to use a custom curse, one that would permanently ground the wendigo, preventing any kind of physical or magical flight. If you deem that's not alright then I'll give him a -6 penalty to his constitution score, which will impact his current and max HP.

Holy and smiting vs evil target. Ranged paladins certainly pump out the DPS, especially at high levels, and really shine vs evil targets, but typically get slightly outpaced vs targets they're not smiting.
