When it is Eugeni's turn

Increasingly frustrated with the small goblins who continue to evade Eugenis blows, he centers and takes careful aim before striking at the nearest goblin again.

Attack 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 4 + 1 = 19
Damage 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (4, 2) + 4 = 10

Thanks for the reminder, though in this case it is probably academic... :)

Swinging hard, but not hitting the darned small goblins, Ventar moves close to the nearest goblin and tries again with a quick overhand chop of his falchion

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (1, 2) + 4 = 7

Eugeni takes the opportunity to swing at one of the goblins passing by

Attack(with bless): 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 1 = 13
Damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 = 12

Just to let you know, I am in a place with limited access until Monday evening (my time). If the ball starts rolling, I am happy for Morph to roll an attack for me to keep the action going.

Liberty's Edge

Eugeni startles by the sudden crack, but seems to get his bearings quickly. He mutters, half loadly to himself "Goblins! This time you won't find so easy victims" as he draws his Falchion and charges the closest goblin!

DM, if Eugeni can reach a goblin with a charge action he will. (if not direct line a move action will do, or else he will simply close the distance with a double move/run action)

To hit, melee 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Damage 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (4, 3) + 4 = 11

As the rounds take Jensen and Eugeni past the new cathedral, Eugeni mutters a brief prayer to Sarenrae.

Eugeni grins and admits "Yeah, you always were the scary one of us." as they continue doing the rounds.

Seeming a bit surprised at the turn of events Eugeni turns to the two remaining half-orcs. "Now good sirs, I hope you enjoy the rest of the festivities without any further unpleasant incidents."

Eugeni turns to Jensen as they walk away:"What got into him? Do we look that scary? Well at least they had a healthy respect for the city watch."

Looking down at the gnome Eugeni finds himself distracted by the gnome who is seemingly oblivious to the fact that he is stumbling into a situation which may very well become a fight...

"Master Gnome, I will be at your service in just a minute"

Eugeni tries to catch Jensen's eye and gesture towards the gnome...

Turning to Jensen, Eugani mutters

"Oh brother, here we go. Follow my lead and we'll try to end this without anyone getting hurt on a festival day"

Eugani then quickly steps in between the four quarrelsome humanoids and starts talking

"Now then gents, there is no need for that. There is plenty of food for everyone and this is a day for celebration. Sir, you may be aware that there is a law in Sandpoint against baring steel towards another in anger, but we both know this was not an act of agression, is that not so? You merely intended to show your friend here the fine craftsmanship of your new blade, correct? That way you can all go back in line to enjoy a good meal and no-one has to endure the much less tasty meals in the city jails."

I guess the improvement in roll20 over the "screenshot-and-post" method is that each player is able to log in and move their icon on a map rather than having to describe to the DM where to go, and the map will always be up to date.

But I agree with Armen, whatever works!

That was exactly my thought. Now, I'll be a bit careful as I haven't actually used it myself for a campaign, just been messing about with it i little like yourself, but the idea seems good and if it works lets us all know where we are on a map. We can all log in at our convenience, look at maps, handouts etc and move our counter when it is our turn etc. What do you guys think, is it worth giving a shot?

Hi all, excited to get this moving along. Eugenis is born and bred in Sandpoint. Locals know him as a bit of a shady lad who was orphaned in a goblin attack a few years back. He is currently serving in the city watch as a junior watchman. (If he is on duty at the time of the festival or not is unknown)

Yes but no reply from you as to which of the two campaigns Eugeni would fit in. But still eager to join, I have not played any of the scenarios and would be happy to join either one. :)

Liberty's Edge

Did you find a spot for Eugeni as well? :)

@Eugeni and Calendir: What are the campaign traits you are taking?

I will be away until tomorrow evening most likely, so do not expect any questions to be answered until then.

Was thinking to take Monument Scholar

Is there a list of campaign traits somewhere? I don't have access to the players book...

Would love to play this AP. Please consider Eugeni, Aasimar paladin.

Pretty sure it will be Shattered Star like in the thread title.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of this AP :)

Basically here are my thoughts:

1. I have warned everyone to be careful
2. Gave good stats and Hero Points
3. There are some in game things that could help with recovering from death, along with some that will hasten it :)

We'll see when we get to it, but the one thing I know I do not want is the same character labelled #2. I'd like some consequence to dying and if its too easy to continue with a new guy then I feel like the edge is taken off somewhat.

I'll probably put it to a vote when the 6 are chosen on how to proceed.

I don't have a problem with that, just wanted some indication on whether I should start contemplating a back-up character (being the optimistic kind I assume I'll get chosen :)) as I quite like making PCs.

But you're right, might as well cross that bridge when we get to it...

GM, Eugeni is updated with feats and traits suitable for this campaign, equipment and skills. The background story has been modified to include a reason for exploring Rappan Athuk (Though I'm not too familiar with the setting, so I've used Sandpoint as his home town. Let me know if it should be changed to something else to fit in)

If anyone would like to coordinate background stories I'm game, always fun to swap ideas :)
