Estra looks around and starts calling out members of her own party to help. "Hiko, Bock. Somebody," and she waves her hands indicating the coffer.

I'm currently playing in 4(!) APs, but only one for credit. In all cases we're playing homegrown rules (so, essentially, PFS campaign mode). I imagine that there are likely some high level PCs out there that just want to play the book 5/6 sanctioned parts to level beyond 12, but I much prefer to play the whole story. Finding a group online that can keep up with that is a sizeable challenge.

That said, one of my goals is to run a complete Reign of Winter on these boards, but I would try to recruit only strong RPers with good posting rates. If you're shooting for the long game, you have to be picky about your PCs.

I'm not sure what to do here, folks. Estra has a silver weapon, which might get past the DR/? but it's not magical, so isn't going to get through the DR/magic. All of the spells that she might use need living humanoid targets.

If someone has a way to enchant her silver dagger, call it out and she'll offer it up. But I don't see Estra or Honaire making much impact here, if at all.

Estra looks at Hiko with a sharp eye. "Did you really just ask to touch my husband?" Her voice has lost all frivolity, and her eyes stare daggers.

She looks up at him wistfully.

Estra take a moment before they leave the room with the vines. "I should've done this earlier. I always imagine that the Venture Captains ain't gonna send is into immediate danger... but I'm usually wrong. Need to learn to call Honaire early... 'cause he don't come quick."

She pulls out a censer and some incense and begins preparing a space in the center of the room. She sits on the floor, unconcerned with the cold stone, and draws her shawl around her shoulders as she begins breathing in the incense, muttering unintelligible words underneath her breath as she begins summoning her companion.

Though she said he doesn't come quick, it's barely a minute before a ghostly apparition appears in the incense smoke, tall and knightly but composed entirely out of a translucent green ectoplasm.

Summoning Honaire in his ectoplasmic form; 1 minute ritual

"There you are, hubby! These are the new Pathfinders they've sent us out with this time." She waves to the group, and the ghostly eyes travel over them all, but it's uncertain to what degree he recognizes what he's told, as he doesn't speak or nod. "This is Honaire, my loyal husband. Couldn't bear to be without me, so stuck around after he died. Extravagant gesture--as was always his wont--but appreciated nonetheless. He stayed as young as he ever was, and still loves all this!" He laughs a bit as she indicates her old body.

They both stay with, but behind Daedîn, as they group wanders over to the room with the pool.

Estra allows Honaire's sword to keep hacking away at Daedîn's vines while she ponders something she can do to help. She slides up into the room with the others, and gently taps Hiko on the elbow. "Keeps those eyes sharp now, aim true." she says.

Okay, manifesting a phantom is a 1 minute action... so Honaire won't be joining us for this battle.

Estra moves over behind Seelah so she can get a good view into the room with the vines. Who knew I'd need you to fight vines, Honaire. Really, how could I have known. What are we doing fighting vines anyway?

Still, she's not worthless without Honaire. She uses her mind to conjure a sword made of pure force, glowing with the sickly greenish hue of powerful grave energy. The swords whips towards one of the vines at her command.

A spiritual weapon cannot be attacked or harmed by physical attacks, but dispel magic, disintegrate, a sphere of annihilation, or a rod of cancellation affects it. A spiritual weapon's AC against touch attacks is 12 (10 + size bonus for Tiny object).

If an attacked creature has spell resistance, you make a caster level check (1d20 + caster level) against that spell resistance the first time the spiritual weapon strikes it. Are they swaying harder now, as one would expect from a strong gust like that? If so, does it seem reasonable to assume that the gentle swaying they were doing before was a result of an earlier wind gust from before we entered the room?

She looks the young Tien up and down, getting a good look at her. "What made a young pretty girl like you join up? Lots of ways to spend a life that'd be easier and simpler than this mess, and you got a lot of life to live."

Estra doesn't really have any skills that pertain to doors, but she will cast guidance on anyone making a skill check related to opening a door. She'll refresh guidance on the first person to go through a door, for a potential saving throw.

She also has message that can affect 4 of the party. Anybody want to volunteer to be outside of the message spell?

No opinion on junctions, so I'll second Daedin's suggestion of clockwise.

Some of this may change once she's manifested Honaire, but she hasn't done that yet.

Sorry, I was planning on a Feb start for gameplay (i.e. character availability), which I believe I'd have been able to meet with Truddig. But, I'm not sure where I got that start date. Reading through the mentor lounge thread that kicked this off, Feb isn't mentioned, so that must be something that I assumed without evidence.

Anyway, that's my mistake, not yours! I'll be playing Estra, the Spiritualist iconic. The chronicle will have to be assigned to a new PFS#, as all of my existing (non-CORE) PCs are in games currently. I'll get a post up in GamePlay; I won't be able to get the alias populated until later today.
