As you look around the bridge, passing the three dead bodies of the Space Lions, you see a wide transparent aluminum window stretching across the forward wall of this control room.
The winkling lights in the distance are all that can be seen of Absalom Station and the ships of the Armada surrounding it.
The Acreon’s main bridge contains four stations equipped with consoles and controls, most of which are powered down or on standby.

Hawthorne and Cade access the basic functions of the ship’s computer, finding the controls to remotely close or open any or all of the doors on the ship, including the airlock hatches ; repressurize the ship ; control the ship’s lighting which could increase the light level throughout the ship to normal light.

Cade sees nothing wrong anywhere.
He does spot the same fragments as before, those linked to the Space Lions.
The pieces of ore are scattered throughout the bridge.

When the battle rush subsides after these few seconds, Zeyram feels rather ill, as though your strength is sapped. You are truly Weakened... both Sickened and Fatigued. Something is not good.
Fortitude Save for Zeyram, w. the -2 from being Sickened

SICKENED
You take a –2 penalty to attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.

FATIGUED
You can neither run nor charge, and you take a –1 penalty to your Armor Class, attack rolls, melee damage rolls, Reflex saving throws, initiative checks, and Strength– and Dexterity-based skill and ability checks. The amount of bulk you can carry without becoming encumbered is reduced by 1. If you are fatigued, doing an activity that would normally cause fatigue causes you to become exhausted instead. After 8 hours of complete rest, you are no longer fatigued.

Always the pessimist, Zeyram sees his shots in dark graviton-like color... when they turn out to be photon-bright: both hit!
EAC 12!

Simagus stares at the Space Lion and concentrates, casting a spell.
The predator, wounded by Zeyram's electric hits, glances at Simagus and... seems to resist the attack on its brain, but it still hurts, and winces, and jumps about as pain wracks its body.
In pain, in a frenzy, it bites repeatedly at Xyklik... but the pistol wounds and Simagus' attack on its mind have obviously shaken it up, and it cannot connect at all.
Xyklik is not hurt!

As Zoey hands the record over to Fitch, the Ysoki matron flashes a brief smile: "Thanks for the thought, young one, but I've not much time for this stuff, got a battle cruiser to repair...", and puts the record to the side.
Suddenly, a young Ysoki grabs the record and slots it.
Fitch is upset: "Selicha!"
But the young Ysoki starts the record and music starts playing.
Its eyes pop open, and it smiles at Zoey, a real big smile.
Fitch calls out: "Kill that kiddo. Hit the button. Or I'll staple you to the hull."
"Yes, Granny! Sorry...", Selicha answers, and hits the button... the wrong button: music starts to blare out of every PA speaker on board!
Selicha winks at Zoey-- "Oops... wrong button."

As you leave, the entire vessel is moving a little faster, working a bit harder, as Strawberry music plays.

As they go on, you understand that Friend eats many strange things, and chewed on some electric cabling and other internal ship components, causing the power outage.
Kieu Lan and Kieu Si wound up trapped when the lights went out.
Unable to communicate with anyone on the ship as Friend had gobbled up their communicators, they lacked the strength to force open the closed doors on either sides, so they were stuck in the lightless storage room.
Friend is in the room past the ex-trapped door.

If you have a DM who says this cannot be done because you must own the item, then do not lend the item to the player without a reroll, give it to him.
Then that person owns it, and can use it.
And can give it - back - to you once it is used.

However, I have never seen anything saying "A reroll can only be used by the person who owns it" (though I mainly only looked those things up in the Guide and on the Perks webpage, but the only thing I remember seeing in all that is that if you own several, you can only use one).

I easily average 12-15 posts a day when keeping up with a special.

What GM Hmm did not say, is that she normally posts more per day in a game, but that she reduces it to only 12-15 with a special.

You find no IDs, the only thing approaching is the holo-pic' of a topless Kasathan burlesque dancer, that signed the pic': For stoopid!.
Fritz nods: Told ya' so!.

You do find three pulsecaster pistol with batteries, as many tactical batons, and about 300 credits on credsticks.

As ex-Ceren calls a robo-cab' to have you take her to the Lorespire complex, Historia-7 calls you on your comm' links: "I have reviewed your work. I am comfortable enough in this new identity to risk a return to public life."

Ex-Ceren high-fives you all and smiles: "This is the most alive I have felt in ages and I'm eager to assist the Dataphiles in anything they require. Let's get back to hacking!"

As your robo-cab drives up to the Lorespire, granny gets out, to go report to Historia-7, and a drone floats over to you, holding a gift box.

Do you take it?
Open in?

Gift Box:
It containts a standard datajack, and 200 credits.
The drone broadcasts a simple electronic message from Historia-7: The datajack is a token of thanks from the Dataphiles.
Then the drone drops a frostbite-class zero rifle into your hands.
The broadcast continues: This is from Jubair. It is his grandfather's weapon. He thanks you - Jubair, not the deceased grandfather - thanks you for getting him away from tomatoes.

You look at one another: well, the Dataphiles sure seem happy, who do we see next?

re. retraining: it is not that expensive when you're no longer low level, and have never died (and thus have a lot of PPs), especially in CORE (ain't much to spend them on).
I spent 15 on one character to retrain 3 feats, 10 on another.
Even if you buy 4 or 5 wands, you still have over 30 PPs left at level 8.

Having just finished installing the last touch: the coilgun on the turret that was added to the Hippocampus, the zombie smiles at Hawthorne and calls out: "Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!", as it prepares the strips of coils on the gun.
"Ready to go!"

Filing out of the hangar, the undead mechanics leave you. The skeleton starts singing: "Toe bone connected to the foot bone

You are soon left with the little ship, that you finish checking out.
Stats added to the Slides/

Taking place on board, running your tests, all seems good.

You fire her up, and the Hippocampus’s thrusters take only a couple of minutes to warm up.

Absalom Traffic Control answers you query: "You have clearance for takeoff".

And... you launch into space.

Easy piloting, since your destination is not far from Absalom Station, the course has been preprogrammed into the shuttle’s computer. and there are space-beacons everywhere.
"ETA: 119 minutes, have a chill day!" chirps the computer.

As you pull away, you get a good view of the beautiful exterior of Absalom Station, as well as what is called the Armada, the endlessly moving fleet of independent ships that surrounds the gigantic space platform.

You are off, heading towards the Quarantine Zone. Soon you will pass through the last fringes of the Armada, and there will be nothing but open space between you and the Acreon.

BEEP BEEP! Unknown vessel on intercept course. Have a chill day!" warns the computer.

The science officer checks the sensors: you picked up a small ship that just detached itself from the bulk of the Armada and turned toward the shuttle on an obvious intercept course.

Pick you positions on the ship, and... have a chill day!

Serissi looks around, a bit at a loss, then smiles: "A straw..."
He jumps up, grabs a piece of rubber tubing, yanks his pocket knife out, cuts a part of the tube, blows into it to "clean" it, and hands it over.
Other than smelling a bit like diesel fuel, Zeyram has its straw: "Here you go!"

You see that Serissi has a slight red tint to his skin: he is most probably from Akiton.

"Yeah, I know who you are. Is why I asked to meet. I'm a kind of unofficial spokesman for the Collective. The Hardscrabble Collective that is. And I want you all to better understand what the Collective stands for. So I'll tell you that beyond all this thing about millions of credits and such, the fate of the Acreon is important to us because of its crew."
He looks at you all, with rather sad eyes.
"What if they're all dead? I mean, we aren’t rich; most of us scratch out whatever meager livings we can from the rocks of the Diaspora. So, when the occasional corporate contract—like the Acreon’s contract with Astral Extractions— is an opportunity few have the luxury to refuse. But let me tell you this: the Collective values its independence and freedom greatly, and we constantly struggle against exploitation and even takeovers, at the hands of would-be corporate overlords. So we're gonna fight for our claim on the Rock. And it’s clear to us that the crew of the Acreon staked their own claim on the Drift Rock. And that we believe that the terms of their contract allowed them to do so."
He shrugs, and calms down a bit.
"Sorry, because you guys don't really care about that. That's something that'll have to be resolved in court or whatever. Besides, is it any surprise that we're suspicious of Astral Extractions’ attempts to lay sole claim to the Acreon and the Drift Rock following the mysterious circumstances of their arrival at Absalom Station?"
He leans forward: "What I really asked you to come here for, is this: the members of the Hardscrabble Collective call themselves a clan, and we mean it. Once you join, you’re family. Members look out for each other, defend each other, and care for each other."
He looks from one to the other.
Then goes on: "The Collective doesn’t know what value, if any, the Drift Rock might have, but we know the worth of our brothers and sisters on the Acreon."
He stands up: "We need to know what happened to the Acreon’s crew, as any family needs to know the fate of their loved ones. And if the worst has happened, then perhaps whatever wealth the Drift Rock holds can help ease the loss of the families left behind."
He sighs: "That’s all we really care about."
Turning back to Cade: "Yeah, I know who you are and what you're doin' for the old Bone-Bag. And let me tell you that the Hardscrabble Collective ain’t disputing Astral Extractions’ contract with the Acreon; we're happy to turn all of the files and findings from the ship’s prospecting mission over to the company, but the ship, and the claim its crew staked on the Drift Rock, belong to the Collective. That's what we'll fight, whatever you find. But that ain't for here and now. What I asked you here for is to, please, do your best to find out what happened to the ship's crew. To try and save any you can. Please."

You gather in the Scripture Room of the Arcanamirium, and prepare as you wish.

No updates from Ms. Joss.
Then you see Bill 278 appear, well, what used to be Bill: bald, with a wrench soldered to his head in lieu of a hairpiece, he does not say a word, nor smile, simply entering, and positioning himself so you can see the large vid-screen that has been bolted to his arms.
The screen comes to life and you see a bright green field of grass, with children of various species happily running around and playing amidst the flowers.
A vesk-kid looks at the screen, smiling: "Thanks to Astral Extractions my daddy is gainfully employed!".
Cut to a dark asteroid where a group of workers of all genders and races finish the hard work of installing mining equipment. Then we see them sharing a nondescript drinks after a hard day's work. A burly shirren looks at the screen: "Thanks to Astral Extractions, our viridium helps save lives in the Pact World's hospitals!"
And so on and so on, a slickly produced marketing presentation that highlights Astral Extractions’ efforts in discovering, developing, and managing much-needed natural resources from across the galaxy and selling them for a bargain in the Pact Worlds.
The clip ends with the words: Astral Extractions, Building Better Worlds!

Then the fabulously gorgeous, if slightly pouty, lashunta woman in her skin-tight silver dress suit appears: "Hello dear friends, I am so happy to be with you again. My thanks that is above all other is to the one who is known here as Ilmakis.
And to the PFS community.

The terror attack in Paris, France, mid-November 2 years ago: 130 people were murdered in the cafés, streets, concert hall.

The first French PFS Convention was scheduled to start the next day.
The venue was closed, most people had to cancel their travel plans.
The Con' was off.

Then Ilmakis organized a game in his living room early the next morning.
With people arriving late for having gone to donate blood.
It was a game of sanity. A game where we simply were among friends. A moment of warmth in this sad craziness.

Then the community organized the day, meeting in game shops, people's homes, and running the multi-table special via text messaging.
The Con' was on.

With the events of the Scoured Stars Incident still fresh in everyone's memory, there's plenty that needs doing to set the Society back on track.

Just a reminder of the rule Redelia reposted in the Discussion thread here (my bold):

The rule is that a character can only be in one game at a time. Playing a game with a pregen when the credit will go to a character is considered to be playing that character for this rule. GM credit is an exception to this rule. Mustering is not considered to be playing that character, so it's OK to list your character's details for a new game while an old game finishes up, as long as it is done before the new game starts.

Just FYI I ran Incident at Absalom Station today at our Gameday in one 11 hour session (counting from when it really started).
It probably would have been better with 30 mins' or 1 hour more, but was not rushed.
(just putting this here since I was not sure how long it would take)

Prince's eyes pop out, and then, all of a sudden, his little three fingered hands feel his body: Not dead, no, not dead and in heaven.
He looks back at the enormous fly, and a tear of happiness rolls down his eye: Like a birthday cake!
He jumps up and down, waving his arms: "Over here, over here!"

So, here is where the choice of masks is for now:

Bu Lo Dama - Wylka
Ilyamamakano - Cazlin
Lai Ligau - Mao or Claudia
Whaoxi Sennen - Senna or Claudia
Tiqa Vastrokardoyo - Claudia
Nobali Hohachi -

Red --> to choose

Not pushing anyone into any choices, this is just an idea to sort things out, please take time to decide if you need to, and go for what you want: so, if Red goes for Nobali Hohachi, and Claudia accepts to take Tiqa Vastrokardoyo (that was one of her choices) the six would be chosen
