Thanks for the love from eddiephlash. This turned into a more insane combo than I anticipated thanks to Tetisurah. The Spirit Relatives also have had a significant impact on my play, that, my start of turn recharges, and the inherent post-roll ability has also made me able to make precision rolls for all the times I need to hit a range or have bad things happen. Beyond a full stock of plants, I've added many blessings to give me more explores, and almost all my spells are Displays that hang out for most of the scenario. To take advantage of my monster turns, I've also invested in a few sources of self healing to keep my discarded blessings flowing. Here's an example of my deck economy singing to the point where I'm recharging Blessings to power my start of turn pluses, then drawing those blessings in the reset to burn down a siege deck. The last thing I'll say about this crazy build is that it evolved into a melee focused build thanks to the Nissa Spirit Relatives and the Huntsman's Greatsword +2, then taken over the top by Shapechange. We are almost done with the Season and it's been a fun ride.

Nissa proves to be worthless in this regard and Veldira asserts herself at Erasmus' side. She quickly determines the use an quality of one of the strange scarabs and places it in Erasmus' possession, which triggers an ancient and debilitated ghoul to lurch at him. Erasmus makes easy work of it with his spear (not a worthy opponent for Nissa). Just then the whir of machinery portends some other creature coming through a mechanical door. Erasmus grabs a pot of embalming fluid and smashes it into the mechanism, keeping the creature stuck behind the door... for now. End of Turn, Freed Soul recharges Blessing of Gozreh The ErasmaNissa Beast climbs the tower to the very top. There he finds Athnul confronted by the Burning Child he pursued earlier. Athnul is trying to to use soothing words to keep it from fleeing again. Erasmus approaches slowly, keeping the beast inside that wants desperately to hunt, and embraces the burning child holding it close to his Reed Snake Armor until it stops its terrorized shrieking and dissipates into ash. Another Thundercloud of Set seeks to rain on Erasmus' parade. Nissa leaps into action throwing the Fate Blade with the fatal speed of a bullet Nissa takes control of Erasmus' legs and sprints at the elemental monstrosity, driving the knife further into whatever week spots she can find. On Yoon's turn display Shapechange...it has begun.Erasmus-Nissa, fully melded together body and spirit, charge into battle with the ferocity of a bull and the instincts of a tiger. A burning child flees in whatever the undead equivalent of terror is. The power of the earth and wilds swirls around Erasmus, and even critters like the Stone Weasel follows in their wake. Finally the Thundercloud of Set forms in front of ErasNissa. Jaw set, they tear into the elemental guardian with a storm-like fury. It dissolves into the sulfur pools around it, splashing Erasmus. Fortunately, a little bit of Raheli's magic kept him safe from harm. This challenge done, Erasmus takes a moment to prepare an Elder Sign. Akvan tries to put Erasmus into a mental fog, but Veldira is not having. She slaps Erasmus awake with her ghostly hand. Athnul is expertly leading Sepid away, giving Erasmus the chance he needs. Nissa leaps into his hand and arm, raising the greatsword in challenge of the outsider. The Five-Pointed Sun shines all around Erasmus and Nissa as they charge Akvan. Erasmus slams the sword down on Akvan and feels a satisfying impact before blacking out. Nissa takes over and butchers the misbegotten creature Shortly after he awakes to the party gathered around him. He's soaked with blood and only pieces remain of Akvan. Did we win? Erasmus coughs.

Erasmus and Balsamo took their time to pick it apart piece by piece. Erasmas found only a couple of minor trinkets for his trouble but pocketed them just the same.
