Quick, clear and good answer. Thanks, Erik !
Long life to Pathfinder and Paizo :)

PS : I just plan to use the names, all the fluff (lords, origin, plane of existence ...) will be specific to my campaign setting. So I expect the CUP is not concerned.

Hello !

I'm french, so this message is going to be short and certainly full of faults ... Sorry :)
I create my own campaign setting for PFRPG. And I'm confronted to the same problem than Paizo : "eladrin" and "guardinal" are not OGC. I see that Paizo has named them respectively "azatas" and "agathions" for Golarion.
I would like to use the same names, for more compatibility and because I respect very much Paizo for doing PFRPG ;) So I asked myself : are these names OGC ?
I searched on Google, and it seems that "agathion" is OGC. I don't know for "azata". Finally ... I asked the question directly to Paizo !

May I use, maybe under the Community Use Policy (I signed), these names ?

So say we all !
:)

I highly advise changing the DC to 10+CMB. It makes becoming invincible much harder as you need a 10+ advantage before become invincible. Further, Small numbers matter less, as the d20 roll counts more, and lastly, it puts the Combat Maneuvers on the same familiar 10+Mods like those for AC and Spell DCs. It also makes Defensive Combat Training less powerful.

Thanks for the link.

+1 James ! It looks like lot of domains miss in the PhB.

I agree. Some races need a revision.
Half-orc, cleric ? Druid looks more evident.
Halfelins, wizards ? It's strange ... Why not paladin or barbarian ? ^^ I don't know if ranger is more evident, but wizard needs to be changed.

I agree with the proposition for half-elf's abilities. Select Dex or Int is a good mix between human and elf.

I don't like the +2 Wis of the half-orc. With +2 Wis, half-orc becomes the better race. But I think Int and Cha is worse ... I have not any proposition, but I really like a change ... Maybe only +2 Str is better, yes.

Quote:
ince half-races might be raised in any of their parents societies a fixed weapon prof. just doesn’t make sense. Give them the humans weapon training instead.

+1, it's a good idea.

(Sorry for my bad English, I'm French.)

My French character sheet. I hope French-speaking people will like it !

One of my players have a human druid. He doesn't use any weapon, so he selected battleaxe randomly ...

+1, but I think every classes with 2 points need to get 4 points. Please change that !

Feint, p 63, depend of Deception, wich not exist anymore. I think it's an error ?

Hello !

I want to translate a house rule I use.

Try in English ;) : For learn language, the system I use is a little bit different from that of the Player's Handbook. The character learns, with the creation of his character, an additional language by +1 of Intelligence (this doesn't change). The difference is in the training after the first level. After a prolonged contact (at least one week) with an unknown language, a character can do a Linguistics check to see if he learns the language. The DC is 15 for a current language (commun, elf...), 20 for a rare language (celestial) and 25 for a very rare language (for example ettin's growls or yuan-ti). The character can do a new check each last additional week in contact with the language, the DC decrease by 2 each time. It is possible to do 10 with this check.

I wish you will understand ^^

Hello and first, bravo for this excellent work ;)

I don't understand

Quote:
Learn Language: Whenever you put a rank into this skill you immediately learn to speak and read a new language.

Do you want linguists speak twice more languages ?

In the 3.5 rule, learn a language needs 2 skill point ; in 3.P Alpha 2, it needs 1 rank. 1 skill point is approximatively like 1 rank. So, for the same cost, you speak two languages instead of one !

I don't understand ...

(And sorry for my bad English, I'm French and I do what I can :) )

Can we have a more abstract version of this rule that does not assume the use of a tactical board with squares?

+1. 2 points is too bad. It's impossible to personalize a character with only 2 points.

There is necromancy in the Book of Exalted Deeds. So, necromancy isn't an evil school.
Be undead is an evil act.
So, the power must change to stay neutral.

[I'm French, sorry for the quality of the post ...]

Hello.

First, bravo Paizo for this Pathfinder RPG. You roxx. Then ... ;)
I have read this discussion recently and I think you will appreciate this project...
It's about fighter's new feats. These feats are weapon feats which depend on the level. So, the fighter improve his weapon training with level.
Example : with an axe, you can cut your enemy's head. And with a hammer, you can paralyze him ... We want these feats funny and balanced.
The feats's list will be finished in a few days (or weeks ^^). Maybe we will translate if someone is interested !

Good luck Paizo,
Elvith.

[And again : sorry for my bad English ^^]
