Hello !
I'm french, so this message is going to be short and certainly full of faults ... Sorry :)
I create my own campaign setting for PFRPG. And I'm confronted to the same problem than Paizo : "eladrin" and "guardinal" are not OGC. I see that Paizo has named them respectively "azatas" and "agathions" for Golarion.
I would like to use the same names, for more compatibility and because I respect very much Paizo for doing PFRPG ;) So I asked myself : are these names OGC ?
I searched on Google, and it seems that "agathion" is OGC. I don't know for "azata". Finally ... I asked the question directly to Paizo !
May I use, maybe under the Community Use Policy (I signed), these names ?

They will be open once we publish the Bestiary, and given their inclusion off-handedly in Pathfinder Adventure Path and Chronicles books they're probably open now.
The safest bet is to wait for the Bestiary, when we will make it explicit that those terms (and the creatures associated with them) are open.
What this has to do with the community use policy depends on what you plan to do with the material you create.

Quick, clear and good answer. Thanks, Erik !
Long life to Pathfinder and Paizo :)
PS : I just plan to use the names, all the fluff (lords, origin, plane of existence ...) will be specific to my campaign setting. So I expect the CUP is not concerned.
