Of the group, it was Edmond to be the one to remain with the Tower without leaving the city. From his room halfway up the tower he enjoyed a vantage point higher up than most of his kind, and luxuries that most did not get. Yet he scowled deeply out the window, counting in his head each hive of crime he could see in the city below. It was little pleasure, even for him, to imagine each as a smoking crater.

They had done a great deed, but greater deeds still remained. With the softer old guard of the Tower waning in power, it was time for his types to rise. The Tower would not be played again. Those who oppose would be burned, finally and in public as a message. Ill-gotten gains seized and the poor taken care of with the proceeds. The only way to make sure that crime truly did not pay.

"Might as well behead them all. The message is that the tower no longer wears kid gloves. We will not be opposed." Edmond says, taking a moment to renew the expended blessing on Ian before following Soleil's instructions while not getting too far from the scene.

That remains to direct the light to burn the medusa, and the other one disappears for this turn. After directing the searing radiance, the Edmond that remains closes his eyes.

forgot about snakeman, not sure he can do much against her so i will just have him guarding my back around the corner or something if that's alright. unless people want him taking pot shots then i can have him do that.

Edmond casts Flicker on himself, one copy of himself opening his eyes and moving where Soleil directed, the other keeping his eyes closed and moving carefully at half speed in that direction. The copies of Edmond appear to be made out of light and both will direct the squares of burning radiance appropriately to hit any enemies that can be detected.

basically did this so one Edmond is safe from having to make a save and the other is trying to accomplish things. if the one trying to accomplish things has to make a save and fails, it will cease to be the "real" Edmond and disappear

Edmond will expend a use of Channel Energy to consume the Blessing placed on Ian to heal the warrior for 80 HP. standard action

move action Edmond will redirect the light spell to burn all visible enemies, and wreathe the squares around him in flame as well after being warned about an invisible enemy. "Don't back up, it is gonna be hot!" Edmond shouts to Ian.

it would be great to get distances and other tactical data in lieu of a map so i can make choices that perhaps don't get me killed.

Snake man moves to bar Anthony from getting any closer to Edmond, and strikes at the man with his scimitar ablaze with black flame.

Edmond will heal himself for 40hp from his fount of life, 5ft stepping away from Anthony and directing his burning radiance of holy flame to further envelop Anthony and all other foes. Edmond's flesh heals even as the flame continues to consume him.

just realized i am CL 11 for Light sphere stuff so it should be 22 not 18. Doesn't affect my big blast last turn though as that doesn't benefit from my +2 staff.

and Ian dont jump out there. I wouldn't have done the blast if you were out there and we'd be getting into a lot of retcon. Unless you delayed until after the blast. I can Selective Channel if I spend an extra use to get the feat (and I believe I can only add one feat at a time).

yeah that was a ridiculously powerful roll. Only 2 of the dice weren't 9 or 10. Oh yeah and Snake Man wouldn't have shot Rocosmia if Ian was trying her up. I didnt even read what was going on inside since I was worried about my own battle outside and assumed Rocosmia wouldn't die so soon.

Snake man will move in and attempt to get in flank with Ian his speed is only 20 so i assume he cant this turn since we dont have a map but since he can't get close enough yet, lobs a shot of dark energy at Rocosmia from his crossbow.

With Ian and Snakeman inside, Edmond turns to face his foes.

standard action channel energy, move action to reallocate my squares of flame to take up the area around those fighting on the street and some distance away. They will take 9 fire plus 9 untyped in addition to the damage of the channel. Since you said "not far from Edmond" and we don't have a map, i'll assume theyre close enough to catch with a channel (5ft stepping if needed). Edmond has Channel Energy 4d6 and will select negative. He will spend an extra use via Grand Channel to make that 4d10. He will spend an extra use via Channel Mastery to gain the use of the Siphon Channel feat. He will spend 1 SP to increase the damage to one die per class level (9d10) and it will change to fire damage that damages both living and dead.

Flame as bright as the noon sun erupts from his body in a 30ft wash. As the smoke from the flesh of the enemies on the street rises into the once-again-dark air, it swirls towards Edmond, forming a sort of armor about him as he continues to play his flute.

when Edmond's turn actually does come up, note that the light he shines does 9 untyped damage and 9 fire damage.

HERE is the list of hardness (still applies) and hit points per inch of common materials. for instance, wood (such as a table or chair) has harness 5 and 10hp/inch of thickness. The light envelops the entire square so the outer inch of the entire object would be subject to damage. 9 of the damage is fire, and energy attacks are halved against objects unless the DM says otherwise (such as for parchment and other flammables). so a typical 2in thick wooden table would take (9/2)+9=13 damage per turn, leaving it with only 2hp (13-5=8) and next turn it would definitely be destroyed. Glass, paper, cloth, rope, ice, leather, and hide would be destroyed entirely on the first turn. Stone would take 3 rounds per inch of thickness. Iron and steel would take 10 rounds per inch of thickness. Mithral and adamantine would not be damaged. This damage also applies to any supports, pillars/rafters that are in the affected area. I don't see a map but once we get one i can allocate my squares.

can i make a spellcraft to determine how he disappeared?

"So the ifrit is gonna be mostly fine when i burn the place down" Edmond says to Soleil and Ian in a conspiratorially low tone. "Caster too, best to cut her down fast. Soleil, best think up a reason this place goes down in flames that doesnt implicate us. 'Innocents', if any even really exist, are not likely to make it out. Letting them do so only gives the enemy a chance to escape also."

i'm still here. busy IRL with a more-than-full-time course load plus a hobby that pretty much takes up the time of a job. Edmond typically does not take part in investigations, he is content to exist more as a weapon. We have PCs (such as Soleil and yourself) that appear more than adept and delighted to run the intrigue/investigation. It's a lot for me personally to keep track of so I am content to let others have that spotlight.

Edmond nods. "Yes, that's my plan. Then again, since no one ever likes my plans, what about a combination of available plans. Surround the tower with guards and then enter as friends? The guards create one complication while helping to eliminate another. Sends the message that we're friends if they want to be, and choosing another option would be most unwise."

As Daeron enters, he sees among those assembled a halfling introduced as Edmond. He is a halfling with slick blonde hair that looks like the owner made a half-hearted attempt to keep out of disarray. He wears white robes, carries a faintly glowing staff but no other obvious weapons. He wears various pieces of jewelry and a cloak and has a strange look in his eye as if he is paying attention elsewhere.

More imposing is the eight foot tall serpentine creature that stands guard behind him, equipped with a sinister-looking sickle and crossbow. It has two humanoid arms and its scales are blue-red-orange-yellow-white, like fire in varying intensities.

"Someone was making little skeletons, and using the poor to do it. My family and I were the poor. When I came home from the market to nothing, I had nothing to lose. It wasn't hard to figure out where they'd go next, so I waited for them. As for probation, I dunno. They don't ask me about it anymore and there's hardly any evidence it happened so it's probably over."

Edmond will go with Ian for a drink down to Tiny Town.

"I grew up in the shadow of the Tower down here in Tiny Town. Old Quarter. They built over it after the fire." Edmond smirks, his eyes focused on a memory rather than his glass. "After that, the Tower came looking for me. Guess they found out who did it. When they found out why, they offered probation by way of membership rather than imprisonment."

yes reshape every turn, costs me a move action similar to moving a flaming sphere. so if i reshape it and i move my own self, i dont have an action left to do other stuff

previous round i will remain in place since movement is blocked. This current round, i will move forward if my fire from last round and ian's sword this round drop the blocking enemy, otherwise i will stay in place and burn him some more

Edmond will tap on the back of Ian's plate mail, and point forward to indicate either that Ian move, or that Edmond is going forward. Then Edmond goes forward, and maintains concentration on the his spell.

If i know Soleil went off to Edmond's right (up on map), i won't have my squares go further than 5ft in that direction (thinking that if 5ft that direction does get her, she can escape with minimal burns). If i have no idea where she went, then i will fill the whole place as best i can and hope she knows what she is doing

Bright light shines forth from Edmond, filling the hall he has backed into and enveloping the nearby elemental. I get 46 contiguous 5ft squares of this effect that burn, and the entire area does a flat 9 fire damage plus 9 untyped damage. The fire fills the entire squares for 9 rounds. I will have it wash around allies and fully entrap enemies.

Edmond will buff Ian with Flicker/Diffuse body, and have Snake Man ready an action to attack any enemies that approach Edmond.

Ian this is the spell where you split yourself when making a move action and only have to choose which of the two is the real you when you attack or are attacked (so you can pick the other one and avoid attack). Then on your next move action you can do it again. 7 minutes
