If by "at launch" you mean "at the start of Early Enrollment", there won't be any Druids.

What I mean is, when the game is finished and out on the market. Hopefully by then I would imagine you would have druids in the game :P

So what are you expecting to see (at launch) of PFO? Here is what I want/expect:

1. Solid (not best) graphics. Personally, I hope they do not go all out on the graphics. This would create some problems, like optimization problems, not being able to run it on low to medium tier computers, ect. I don't want the graphics to be complete garbage, but at the same time I don't want to pay another 600 dollars for my computer just to run it on high settings.

2. Fluid gameplay. What I mean by this is responsive controls. WoW actually got this right. Also, meaningful gameplay. I want to always be doing something and get something out of it.

3. Great animations. If they make the animations on par or better than WoW, I will be extremely happy. I think the success to a great MMO has a lot to do with how responsive the controls are and how well the animations were done.

4. I want to be able to create ANY kind of character I want. I want to be a druid, so I hope there is a lot to offer for a druid.

5. Constant updates. I hope after launch that GW tries their hardest to patch fix anything that is wrong with the game. Maybe even add expansions at some point. This could be easily handled if they go down the subscription payment route, which I hope they do.

As long as the character creation is as in-depth or more than GW2's, I will be happy.

I personally did not enjoy the combat in GW2 very much. The animations were good and everything, but it just felt boring. Especially since they used a bundle system for the abilities. All it was just spamming the same moves over and over again. But a good aspect of it was that it felt fluid (somewhat). I am hoping that Goblinworks will go towards action combat (if they already haven't stated that?) instead of the traditional point and click route (like WoW).

Love this video! Watched it about 5 times now :P I was really surprised by how well the animations were! Great job Goblinworks! Also, is the character shown at 3:01 a druid?

My body is ready. But I thought they said that they are planning release in early 2015...at least, that is what the kickstarter video stated.

As long as I can have a first and last name, I will be happy

I agree, there was barely any info included in the poll. How will fast travel/mounts work? What gods are they referring to? What kind of pets? If these can be answered then it would make voting a lot easier. I realize that GW are still in the pre-alpha stage but I would hope they have already covered these things in their meetings at least.

Sorry, still learning the lore

I'm hoping for plenty of non- combat related skills.

I'm sure there will be. Its a sandbox MMO after all

But... you could play an Elf that lives in the woods!

haha well yes, I suppose I could do that. After doing some research on the races of Pathfinder, I now decided that my main will be a Half-Elf! (Half-bloods FTW). Also, about the class thing...I just remembered there won't be classes haha. But I will put majority of skill points into ranger type skills.

I could see how this could work, but at the same time I don't want to have to worry about those things when I'm in game. If anything I think people would be more annoyed by it then enjoy it.

I hope they do something. I would like diversity in the races, it would make people's characters feel more unique IMO and it would open up more customization options, which is always a good thing :D

This might be a little too soon to ask, but I'm wondering if GW will incorporate different race ethnicities into character customization. I'm sure we will get different options for humans (ex: Black, Asian, Caucasian, ect), but what about the other races? Like Elves? (Aquatic, Desert, Dark, Wild, ect).

So is that basically a magical android?

Hmmm...sounds interesting. I will be CG, so this might be good for me

Thanks for the help! I'll use those sites

Hello everyone! Just want to say that I am new to Pathfinder. I have never really got into tabletop RPGs (tried D&D thought it was meh). However I really enjoy the lore and charaters in Pathfinder (I also happen to read the comics). So I was just wondering if any of you have an idea of what your character will be in PFO (if so, post it!) and I was also wondering if any one could help me build my character, or at least give me a good idea of what would be best for me. I really enjoy playing Ranger classes (preferably without pets) and I also like the Guardian/Paladin/Swordmage classes as well. My favorite races are Humans and Elves (especially Wood Elves from Elder Scrolls). So any help with this would be appreciated! Looking forward to see what ideas you guys have for your characters!

PS If there are any mechanics that I should be aware of, please let me know, thanks!

Hmmm...this sounds interesting. I like the idea of a Knighthood. If you have any room for a ranger I would gladly join. However I don't know if I will be LG, all I know is I will be something Good.

I agree with OP, however except on one thing: I think Rangers, Necros, ect should not NEED pets to be viable. I think pets should just be an option

I personally hope there will be no instancing at all (except maybe dungeons/raids). Instancing is just a way to limit people with who they can play with. I think GW2 did a good job with keeping their world not instanced and open(except for the personal storylines, but it made sense for that to be instanced)

It is basically just one big group of like-minded players who work together to team up and accomplish goals that benefit everyone in the guild
