![]() Alright, this is Ouachitonian's submission. Turns out it's really hard to build a kobold who can melee, so this build will be a little weird. Early on he'll lean on the Sorcerer side, and only rage when he has to, if someone gets in his face or something. But once we get to Mythic I'll take Mythic Weapon Finesse and get Dex to damage and be much better in melee. But I don't know how far out that'll be. For now Rage gets me to 10 Str so I'm at least not taking penalties. Also, eventually Dragon Disciple levels with give me +4 Str. But that'll be a while. It'll come together in time. In the meantime I've still got Sorcerer casting. Drahkn will be taking all the kobold racial Draconic feats, eventually. Also, gotta have Mad Magic pretty soon to cast in rage, if necessary. As for motivation, he's all about killing metallic dragons, minions of Apsu, non-dragons with metallic dragon blood (sorcerers and the like) etc. I haven't done it yet, but I'll answer the Background Questions in the alias in just a minute. Edit: Questions done. Also, I meant to mention: I might have focused his traits a little too narrowly on fighting dragons, not sure how many we'll face. But that's ok. He knows what he wants, even if he has to fight through a bunch of stupid humans and celestials to get to it. ![]()

![]() Drahkn had been just about to try and create a distraction when the younger Vitruvio mentions his old man’s letter on the back of the paper. Flapping up over the furniture and back toward the door, he looks to the younger Vitruvio and says Italian: ”Thanks for your help! Have a nice day!” ![]()

![]() Ratón Pérez wrote: When the dragon and fairy reconvene in the morning, Raton is initially nothing but a grouch, unhappy and unhelpful. "People put too much faith in there being a tomorrow," it says dispassionately. While it still wears its satchel around its neck, it has traded in the suit for a loose grey dress (or perhaps an oversized tunic?) and a blue sweater laced with red cords. Atop its grotesque pug-ugly head and between its large ears, it wears a thimble sized poet's cap. Drahkn blinks twice. ”Was there another option?” he asks. Without waiting for a response he says, ”Lets go, we can talk on the way.” ![]()

![]() Drahkn bobs his head. "I will meet you back here at firssst light." the dragon says, before turning and flapping through the open window. On his way back to his lair, he takes his time, quietly observing the streets as he proceeds via a circuitous route, stopping periodically and changing course multiple times to ensure he isn't being followed or observed. If possible, I'll Take 20 on Perception and Stealth. If not, I'll put in some rolls below. Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

![]() Drahkn gets the address from Rigel then takes his own path, figuring it will be less suspicious than if the group travels together. When the rest of them arrive he's sitting on the windowsill, waiting to be let in. I'll Take 10 on stealth on the way over, just in case we're being watched. That's a 25. ![]()

![]() That’s the one I was going to breath weapon if I was sure I could miss Kolaiah. Can you Dodge what’s effectively a Lightning Bolt? Also, I’m charging that one now; I trust Kolaiah to deal with the other one. Speaking of, I’m on mobile and can’t seem to move my token. Some one move me, please. ![]()

![]() Sorry, busy couple of days. I have a blindsense out to 60 feet, if it matters. Also darkvision, but I think we’ve established that that doesn’t. When the darkness clears and he sees the fallen singer, Drahkn sets his bottle down and flaps over to the downed singer, circling above the aasimar woman. Odd wound, that. And what’s that smell? Brimstone, I think.
As the Minotaur blocks the exit, Drahkn flaps over that way, to lend his assistance. Grabbing ahold of the doorframe with his talons, he hangs bat-like from it, his arms folded across his chest. ”I’d do what he sayssss.” the little dragon hisses, electric sparks crackling from his mouth as he does so.

![]() Flapping down the stairs, a curious creature lands on the bar. A dog-sized* blue dragon...wearing a studded leather tuxedo. Most curious. It watches the bartender, and waits for his attention. Once he looks at it, it says in common "Do you have Kumis? I'll take a glass. Warm, if posssible." once it has its glass, it wraps both hands around it and flaps over to an empty seat next to the minotaur, gently setting its glass on the table before alighting on a chair. Looking around, it says "Good day. Interesssting group you've got here." *Like, coyote size. Not a chihuahua, but not a St. Bernard either. ![]()

![]() I’m the tank, am I? So it’s Bloodrager levels going forward, then. Actually, that’s something I wanted to ask the GM about. Monster PCs that have more powerful versions generally don’t advance by adding HD, and it would be especially odd for a dragon to do so, since their higher CR versions are explicitly age categories. But, could I do so once? I intentionally made Drahkn right around 5-6 years old (though I may not have spelled that out in the bio) to put him on the Wyrmling-Very Young border. Now, a Very Young Blue Dragon is CR 7. So what I’d do is take the Advanced template (+1 CR) next level, then when the party hits 7, move from Advanced Wyrmling Blue Dragon to Very Young Blue Dragon. Then take bloodrager levels after that. Would you be ok with that? ![]()
![]() Alright, so this is Ouachitonian's Monster submission. What campaign is complete without a Dragon? Drahkn is a blue wyrmling (CR 5), who spent most of his life enslaved in an interplanar traveling circus. A year or so ago, he led a revolt that brought the whole place tumbling down. It was in Crossroads at the time, and he stuck around. Didn't really have anywhere else to go, even if it is chilly here. He's worming (wyrming?) his way into the local underworld, but he's got time. Dragons are good at the long game. Let's talk alignment: Blue Dragons are Lawful Evil. I guess I could say he's the exception that proves the rule, the Drizzt of blue dragons. But I'm not going to. He's evil. But he's not stupid. He's happy to ingratiate himself with the nice folks around town. He'd happily spent a few decades hanging out with a party full of paladins. It's good to have respectable people that owe you favors. Nobody expects the Good folks to be working for the Evil dragon because they're in his debt, and maybe he has some compromising material on them. All that to say; he'll play nice with the party, even if they're all good-aligned. This whole campaign is basically a youthful dalliance. He's got plenty of centuries left to use that reputation that he's actually remarkably nice and generous, for a Blue, to turn to his advantage long after the rest of the party has died of old age. Don't worry about him having trouble with the party. I'm really not sure where I'll take him yet. The good thing about dragons is they can go any direction. If the party needs arcane, he can go Sorcerer. If the party needs melee, he can go Bloodrager. If the party needs ranged, well, Breath Weapon. If the party needs a Rogue, he can do that too; he already has lots of skills and Disable Device as a class skill. He could even go divine, but he'd need to go Oracle or Anti-paladin. He is a bit naive. I blame his youth and inexperience (Translation: I rolled a 6, it had to go somewhere, and a dragon with low wisdom sounded fun. lol). Also, this town is no barbarous frontier village. They have culture here. That's why he's had his studded leather tailored to look like a tuxedo. I mean, dragons have to have armor custom-tailored anyway, so why not? ![]()

![]() Drahkn takes his bow and takes aim at the targets. Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Drahkn lowers his bow, more satisfied wit these results than the last. Then again, these targets weren't moving. ![]()

![]() Drahkn steps into the caldarium after cleaning his wound. He slides into the water until only the top portion of his head, with his eyes, nose, and ears sticks above the water, letting him maximize absorption of the water's warmth. He is careful to turn where he can observe he door and other occupants. Just in case. ![]()

![]() So, I'm not terribly familiar with Performance combat, and didn't realize I could make a free check when entering a rage. I'm switching from Jazrok's rage to my Bloodrage this round, so I'll make one now. If that's a no-go, just ignore the role please. If you're wondering, I need to use my own rage to use my claws, Inspired Rage doesn't allow the use of bloodline abilities. Furious at being hit by the blind fool, Drahkn lets out a roar and redoubles his efforts to finish the gnome quickly. Performance: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11 He unleashes his full fury, attacking with jaws, claws, and tail. Attack, Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Attack, Claw: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Attack, Claw: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Attack, Tail Slap: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0
