Chronicle looks good! Thanks for running the game!

Rosilia spends most of the trip keeping to herself, finishing up her notes from the trip.

At Fitch's promise, Rosilia's eyes light up and she can barely contain her excitement.

"Well... theoretically, doing enough careful damage to Big Mina's brain would stop it from growing, but..."

After pausing to admire the crystalline structure before her, Rosilia turns morose at the question posed before the group. "I mean, unless there's a way to stop it without killing it, I think we have to let it grow, and take the chance to study it."

Rosilia takes another shot at Blue and backs away slowly.

Rosilia is going to draw a pistol and fire at the one attacking Maximus.

“Yeesh, doctor! That was gruesome!” Gava remains away from the surgery procedures.

“Well, I doubt antibodies will be willing to parlay, but we might as well try… but if that doesn’t work…” Gava draws his pistol “I won’t have anything stop us in our way to the brain. Let’s keep going”.

"It's literally brain surgury! What were you expecting?"

"We probably should avoid killing all of them, because if we do, Big Mina is left without an immune system."

Rosilia whispers to the rest of the group, "There's a bunch of shelled creatures watching us as we go."

"They seem to exist symbiotically with Big Mina, eating parasites here. I think they're signaling their relative hunger to each other, and I think it might mean they see us as parasites, so we might want to watch out. Also, they probably would be sensitive to light, since they live all the way down here."

I don't know if that's what you were trying to say, or if that was what was in the next spoiler, that's just my guess.

Rosilia attempts the surgical procedure needed to carefully slice out a part of the brain.

Medicine: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28

As Maximus starts explaining, Rosilia starts pulling out quite a bit of medical equipment. Holding a scalpel in one hand, she responds, "Surgical, you say? Well, I suppose I could try..."

Athletics: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
"I think the walls have nozzles that spray some kind of calcifying agent. That's so cool! And awful. We should probably avoid the walls to avoid it."

"I wonder if their holorecorder has any data we can use..." She hops down into the shaft to investigate.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

I'm good with resting. I only used one biohack, which I maybe should have been less worried about conserving, but at the same time, I only hit twice, so...

While the scans are coming through, Dr. Rosilia will busy herself dissecting one of the birds.

"This could very well be one of the greatest scientific discoveries yet! How could we refuse?" Rosilia asks excitedly into the intercom. She gets behind the buggy to make sure it's not at a bad angle.

Do I still have the damage from before? I do, right?

Rosilia fires another shot at the remaining bird.

"Lets give them a taste of their own medicine." The Rosilia gets out a different pistol and fire a bolt of acid at one of the birds.

I think I provoke an AoO stepping out of the way.

Rosilia stands up in the buggy to look where Elisan is pointing.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

Life Science: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

Rosilia gasps and starts writing things down. "This is fascinating! They must consume a lot of calcium from the ground to keep those shells, which makes sense, given that they would be limited to a very calcium-heavy diet here. I wonder if any other creatures have adapted like this! Do you think we should try to get a sample?"

Rosilia pulls out a survival knife and investigates the mounds.

"Ooh!" she says as she pulls out the pearl.

"No, I'm fine! I can--oh, you're already there." She goes to brace the structure.

Athletics: 1d20 ⇒ 19

With help from her teammates, Rosilia keeps trying to scramble up the tower.

Assuming I can actually get up there, Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Assuming I can stay up there, Computers: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

This is going well.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

If no one argues, Rosilia starts climbing to the top of the tower.

Athletics: 1d20 ⇒ 9

"If it's anything like the damage to the creature, that would be pretty rough." Rosilia hops onto the buggy. "I wonder what else we'll find. Lets go!"

More navigation to aid if we need it: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Rosilia looks at the instructions with confusion. "How is a scanning tower more complicated than biological creatures?" She doesn't know how to help with construction.

With the calibration of the scanner, however, she is more knowledgable.

Computers, aid: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

Rosilia fires again, but modifies the dart a little differently.

Basic Inhibitor for -2 AC

Needler Pistol (KAC), Basic Inhibitor: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21, 1d4 ⇒ 3

Rosilia runs forward and fires again, once more modifying the dart. Hoping that she just missed and not that it has DR against piercing.

Rosilia runs into the open which is probably a bad idea and fires a dart at the creature.

Needler Pistol, Minor Inhibitor, 2 range increments: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 4 - 2 = 13, 1d4 ⇒ 4 + a -1 on attack rolls, I don't think there's a save?

"I would be happy to capture it an study it more. Maybe we could see how it adapted to it's environment." Rosilia pipes up. "Although I suppose it would be easiest to see that via dissection rather than direct observation... Yeah, killing it might be the best option."

Rosilia leans out of the buggy to get a good look at the creature.

Life Science: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

Rosilia gets out of the buggy and draws a pistol. "I have a sedative we can use to knock it out once it gets tired enough, if we wanted to try that. It probably wouldn't be enough to take it down on it's own, but maybe once it's already taken a few hits?"

Rosilia joins Gava and Elisan on the buggy. She attempts to help navigate.

Sure, riverbed sounds fine.

Rosilia continues writing notes. "Yeah, that sounds good. This should be fascinating..."

“I’m also curious about the shell - I’m betting on some gargantuan beast sleeping, or dead.”

Rosilia gasps. "I hadn't thought of that! The ground is a calcium compound, which would be consistent with it being some great exoskeleton."

During the trip, the android introduces herself as Dr. Rosilia-14. During the trip, she mostly keeps to herself, working on various experiments in her room.

During Dr. Mora's explanation, Rosilia busies herself with writing down notes. At the end, her hand immediately shoots up. "Do you have any surface samples to study? I would be extremely interested to look. Also, is there anything you've ruled out yet as an explanation? Is there anything that seems to support one explanation over another?"

An android with a large, green ponytail in a lab coat, who previously was observing the situation and hoarding small pastries, suddenly approaches. "Are you kidding? An area with little to no life at all on an ecologically thriving planet? It sounds like a fascinating mystery!"

Fine by me.
