About Dominicia Delicio Darklight

Dominicia is the granddaughter of Baron Von Delicio, A prominent Chelish noble from Augustana who initially supported the Andoran rebellion against the House of Thrune, only to be stripped of his title and his land-holdings confiscated by "the people" when such concepts as nobility and slave-ownership were outlawed by the new Andoran regime. Her mother managed to overcome the stain of her anti-Asmodeus lineage and marry a prominent Order of the Rack Hellknight, granting Dominicia a life of luxury in Westcrown. Though a thoroughly spoiled girl of esteemed nobility, Dominicia despised one aspect of being the daughter of a chief Order of the Rack operative: The frequent book-burnings her father's organization conducted in the name of maintaining order. Fiercely independent, and a lover of learning, Dominicia swiftly moved to the capital city of Egorian upon reaching young adulthood, and soon joined the secretive Darklight Sisterhood. There she began the study of magic, honing her conjuration and evocation skills to gain the titles "Mistress of Pentacles" and "First Mage of the Fatal Finger". She has since left the Sisterhood (though retaining the name "Darklight") due to continued clashes with other initiates regarding her chaotic alignment, lack of devotion to Asmodeus, and the false charges the Chelish government lodged against her friendly rival Zarta Draleen. Dominicia was so disgusted by Draleen's treatment that she jumped ship, quitting the Darklight Sisterhood to join the Pathfinder Society and the Dark Archive. Though a powerful wizard, she's still very immature, haughty, and spoiled. Her disdain for the current regime in Cheliax is only surpassed by her hatred of all things Andoran, after the "gratitude" her grandfather was shown for financing the revolution. Nothing makes her happier than to watch the tears roll down some filthy Andoran meddler's face, helpless to stop insolent slaves get the whippings they deserve.
