Diggle inspects what is it that Mugs has found. It's certainly not the sort of neighborhood where people would purchase ham hocks regularly. Perception 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 "Come Mugsy." Diggle wont wrestle the ham off Mugsy if she refuses to leave it but he is wary of it. He will cast Prestidigitation to clean up the dog if she stinks of rotten meat.
Male Gnome Sorcerer / 5
Diggle puts a hand up as he see's the boys approaching. "Best stay away thank you young ones. Mugsy is not of a good mood at the moment." 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17. Diggle knows full well these humans may also be effected by the sickness too and so moves away if they do not heed his warning and continue to approach. Once he is happy, he will use his vial of antiplague as his skin starts to crawl.

Diggle pats Mugsy, his one companion that may support his actions. It's quite simple. People think they are bigger than they are then you put them in their rightful place. Just as you would do. "Isn't that right Mugsy!?" Diggle was finding very quickly it was very comforting to have his new companion. He thinks quickly about the favored food he need source for his new friend that evening. Diggle stands with Mugsy and his head turns from his other companions to the silly fools who nearly made him unleash his inner insatiability. His power was growing within him with every spell he intoned. Tonight he would think on it more, his very bright future. He looks around his other companions and appreciates their words to reign in his power. He would need to live to grow to his power so some restraint would be truly wise.

Noone said they were kids either, I am sure they are local crims looking for an easy mark to hit. Anyway, my actions pretty much take 2 rounds as I have indicated so Meg's has a chance to act before I move it into them anyway. If they don't get the hint and press on then my next move is to electrocute one by one. That's right, as I said, it's electricity, not fire.
Male Gnome Sorcerer / 5
Diggle has had enough of the pokes and prods of these fools jests as they stop out front of the girls supposed house. He dismounts from Mugsy and turns to face the following pack of ruffians. He pats Mugsy upon the muzzle as Mugsy attempts to nuzzle at his short companion. Diggle then turns to face the group taking a couple steps away from Mugsy, squares off planting his feet firmly. He pushes his cape back over his shoulders, stares fully at the group of idiots and begins casting. He selects an area 10ft before the group of rough necks and manifests a 5ft ball of electricity. (standard action: flaming sphere with energy substitution electricity) Now that the ball manifests as he willed, he speaks to the group. "Do you find your current predicament funny now." Standard Action Intimidate Demoralize 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17 Move action Diggle then wills the ball of electricity into the group of rabble hoping for a strike.
Male Gnome Sorcerer / 5
Diggle hearing and feeling Mugsy's distress pats his new mount reassuringly. Diggle imprints this fools face upon his mind. One day, he will laugh last and laugh loudest. Diggle will at least get a laugh from this. He notes the location of his wand of grease and touches it desirably with one hand.

Can I request of you Megan that if we put in time to develop story or fluff that you at least give us a little fluff back. I expected to at least get a sentence or two back from my actually speaking with the dogs. I feel your reply was very bland and shows a lack of attention. I feel you are not even reading our posts in their entirety or just glazing over the added flavor we inject.

"A thought had only just occurred to me Varrel. A gnome was never meant to ride a horse. No wonder my posterior protested every step of my short journey astride that nag. I mean to remedy that distress by getting a suitably sized 'steed' and lavish my dejected posterior with comfort and pleasurable surrounds. I dare say if I succeed I may very well come to enjoy being mounted."

Diggle becomes side tracked by an exciting idea. He had seen dogs specially trained for use as mounts for those of small stature. Now he had a new task before him. The disease would have to wait until he had made his idea a reality. Diggle intends to go and find a riding dog. He will buy the exotic riding saddle for it also. What he will do however is use his Naturally Gifted ability once he has found a decent breeder/dealer and speak to the dogs there to see who is keen to serve him as an adventuring companion. Diplomacy when speaking with dogs. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 He will be sure to use his speech ability well in the time it lasts to inform which ever dog he so choose/chooses him. He will find out what it's favourite food is. What it truly dislikes as a precaution so that Diggle can avoid whatever it is and let his new companion know that once a day he can speak with it for a limited amount of time so he can ensure any concerns are addressed. Sigh, nice diplomacy roll.

Diggle just smiles at Una's attempt. He still likes his own approach and continues to do it the same. It's far more personal and doesn't mention the law at all. Granted, different residents will accept one of the two methods more readily than the other. Una isn't being a very chaotic character IMO!
Male Gnome Sorcerer / 5
I apologize once again for posting the incorrect alias. Diggle doesn't at all agree with Una's plan to withhold any information back from anyone. "It is the prevention of the coins swapping hands that will slow the spread of whatever this may be. We must take the chance and let these people know." Diggle takes another drawing of the accursed coin and tells anyone he passes to avoid accepting them lest they wish to quicken their path to Pharasma's judgement. Love CN

Asherick Whiteplume wrote: Ashe smiles at the gnome, "Its just coins Master Diggle, their minting might give us some clue as to their source and origin. But just to be safe, if no one minds, I can solely handle them... disease and sickness have no hold on me due to the goddess' favor." Diggle looks at Ashe in wonder. Oh how he loves learning things. "That is a wonderful blessing indeed. A true gift indeed and one I should see you put to use. Thank you kindly for the offer Whiteplume. I will gladly forgo the hands on approach if you don't mind."
Male Gnome Sorcerer / 5
Diggle starts getting the heebie geebies. "Ahhh, don't you all think it might be a good idea to at least take some steps against whatever it is we are looking for. I mean, I have a vial that aids in resisting disease. It's an anti-plague solution which boosts your resistance to diseases and the like. I would suggest maybe we go and buy some. I am sure, every disease hunter out there has at least a vial or two."

Hmmmm!! Diggle's mind begins ticking over. He grabs up some of the wood dropped by the scavengers. He throws one up in the air and catches it. He has his plan. "Let us hope these bits are from the ship as I think this is going to cost me a 'pretty' purse." Diggle considers by which magical means he can gather information using the objects he holds. Knowledge Arcana 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 Regardless of his thoughts, he will go to the Marshall to run it past her for permission and then onto the Acadamae for magic assistance. Megs: OOC, I am thinking a Track Ship spell might suffice.
Male Gnome Sorcerer / 5
Diggle loves the party dynamic. How interesting these people manage to work together. Shakhan's unpolished method sparks excitement within his belly. His fingers twitch as spells begin to swim in his mind. The magic coming unbidden and dancing over his lips and tongue. It was part of him and he had to let it be sometimes. Ashe walks away so Diggle points at the ground near the scavengers feet. He lets three magic missiles loose being sure not to hit them. Afterward he looks at them and speaks. "Well, run along then. You are of no use to us now are you." Diggle smirks and shivers at the use of his magics. He looks to the others staring at him. "What?"
Male Gnome Sorcerer / 5
Diggle can't but help himself and also buys some food to snack upon. One to get the stink of the fish markets out of his nostrils and two, his mouth started watering and his tummy started grumbling. Striking another 5 silver off for the skewers. "I can certainly see why Ashe is so fond of these meat sticks." Diggle isn't waiting, he eats them on the walk back. He offers one to the person sent to carry his fish. You will see the slick grease in the corners of his mouth when they reach the waters edge again and a piece of the meat somehow clinging to his mustache.

Ah, no response to Diggle's awesome rolls? Diggle uses his 'Speak with Animals' ability and goes to talk with the seagulls. Squawk Caw Scree Squawk: Hail little masters of the beach and sky. Might I speak with you a minute or two? Diplomacy 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22 We land lubbers here have a job and it involves your area of expertise you see. We need to know if there were any odd wooden water floaters or ships as we call them. This particular one may have had something nasty aboard that would make many, many very ill. This ship may have actually sunk somewhere near or may have run aground some where near. If they are unaware, Diggle asks them for a trade. He will buy them what ever they desire in return for him asking his flock or other birds. As a show of good faith, Diggle would agree to go and purchase whatever it is they request, within reason and meet them back at this spot in a couple of hours.
Male Gnome Sorcerer / 5
Diggle approaches some foragers. "Have you not heard the warnings about town? There's a monstrous creature harassing the shore and incoming ships? Word is that it's already claimed two ships recently. Have you found any such debris or wares. Don't sugar your words, you have nothing to fear from me." Bluff 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22

Diggle does as Varrel requests. He is extremely excited which indeed causes Varrels. We'd to request he not wriggle around too much. He was holding on for dear life with his small hands but luckily he was only lightly encumbered and it was too difficult. He looks around for the signs they were after. Perception 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

"Shakhan, I will tell you some of my father's tales from my gnomeling years. They are wide eyed wonderful stories. But, I will not do so in such depressing surrounds as a city such as this. To do my heritage and the tales justice, I would insist on being in more natural surrounds."
Male Gnome Sorcerer / 5
Diggle takes on an expression of seriousness to reply to Shakhan. "Yes, yes I certainly can but not as freely as I would like to be able to. Magic opens some wonderful doors Shakhan and I have learned to speak with any animal I so choose for a few minutes each day. Most are quite shocked at the greeting I make them but when you win them over they say some peculiar and terribly amusing things."
Male Gnome Sorcerer / 5
"We could go and ask the marine animals for information you know. I have an super knack at being able to find obscure details from such creatures. It would be my pleasure to try and see what I find. I am sure we would be able to keep our distance from the vessel but find out if any creatures are getting sick from it too."
Male Gnome Sorcerer / 5
"Well, well now. Looky here would you. I needs only think of looking for a good time and you more or less appear before me. I say, I much prefer your company than that brutal ragged nag who took some personal amusement in my short legged stature. Horses! I will need to get my hands on some flying device. So much more to my liking and that of my rear ends well being too. Well, short answer is, most assuredly will I once again accompany you. And I conclude, you here is most fortuitous for I best believe that you are already upon a new task, are you not?" Diggle looks to the Marshall. "My manners, must have left them astride that beast." He staightens himself out as most possible in his bedraggled and weary state but musters his wonderous smile. "Marshal Kroft my wonderfully austere lady, tis a pleasure." He winks at Asherick, "Mother is recovering well thankfully. I appreciate the concern ol pal." He stifles his ramblings as Una tries to reengage the parties attentions. He listens intently but gets lost for a moment, just enough time to exhale in his companions presence and think to himself 'home' and smile broadly.

Diggle made his way back into the city proper. His hind quarters felt like never before. The prospect of the ride was horrific and the reality was so much worse. He knew he would not walk quite right for a number of days but it was sure good to be back in familiar surrounds, even if they were the very same surrounds he had every intention of leaving behind. He however, had started to make head way toward his goals with the aid of the Field Marshal and the new party of problem solvers he had assisted only days past. Home first of course to ensure all his worldly belongings were safe and secure then, back to his new business of solving problems. The bad news now out of his foremost mind, could now merely plague him in his subconscious. "Hmmmm, where too? The Field Marshal of course."
