ah boo, missed the cut. I'm always around unless on vacation so when or if you get a dropout shoot me a PM. Have fun.

Just checking in again. I don't have questions and have been done, just don't want inactivity looked down upon. I very active posting 10-20 times a day in my other games :) Thanks for consideration.

I would like to submit Desmond as tribute. I love kingmaker. The kingdom building is a huge reason why. I have played it but never all the way through. On me as a player. I'm very active on hear. I post many times a day and my oldest game is 4 years. I'm not going anywhere and have never quit a game. Hope I can play with you guys.

Kingdom Role Desmond would want to be the Marshal. Having had to turn to a life of crime for a bit gives him some perspective on why people do the things they do. Also his hunting will help to track and find any that do wrong.

Thanks for the consideration.

cool, good luck on the writing. Thanks for the game.

yep, seems to have eaten our DM

hey all I'm back.

Hello everyone. I will be leaving today and will have no internet access until the 18th. Will be camping in Mississippi. SCA event. Talk to you all soon.

Desmond inspired by Zane's words gathers himself and tries the slippery climb again.

Reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16

You were right, that wasn't that bad. Do have some rope? I have money but seem to have forgot to buy some rope. I could anchor it to myself and try and help our friends.

Desmond eyes the rocks and attempts his way up.

reflex save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

He tries to start climbing as his foot slips and he bangs his chin on one of the rocks.

Looking back at Zane rubbing his chin. This one may be tough

glad to see you back. No worries RL stuff happens to us all

Desmond steps forward and points out what he feels is a safe path for Zane.

marking the trail.

going to need some dice roller luck on this one :)

Quote:
Zane marking the trail was just enough to offset Desmond's weight penalty..

Very True :)

Desmond watches Zane forge ahead and tries to follow his steps.

perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15
Strenght: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15

ah too bad rolls were not in other order :)

Crack in the Earth.

Desmond seeing the path already marked here blazes ahead thinking the road must be close.

survival: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (18) - 1 = 17
acrobatics: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (13) - 3 = 10

Ah, ok makes sense it can only be marked once, so here goes

fortitude save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

Desmond encourages Lucien to hurry along as he jumps up on the log kicking and stomping a few snakes along the way.

yeah, mine is there can you imagine this with the -10 of a tower shield :)

Were is Lucien, did you guys drown him back there?

Desmond picks up another log and crushes more of the snakes making the trail easier to cross again.

With Desmond's rush forward he will slow to make the trail ready for his friends.

useing action to mark the trail.

Desmond hears the roar of the beast on their trail and tries to swiftly move along.

survival: 1d20 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 1 - 2 = 19

acrobatics: 1d20 + 4 - 6 ⇒ (17) + 4 - 6 = 15

[ooc] yeah, sweet rolls[/dice]

I'm at a -2 to my rolls b/c of my move speed correct

oh, woops if you can't go and mark the trail I need to probably repost. I will still be holding and bringing up the rear though

Desmond would like to hold and reposition so that the more fleet of foot may help in marking the path and if need be he will hold off the troll for the others to make it. Repostiion inititive to last.

The rest of you go ahead, mark a trail if you have time, but if need be I will buy you the time to make it.

Desmond leaves his shield on his back hoping to flee instead of fight but prepares for the worse.

Desmond slings his shield over his back and receives the hair not.

Thank you Yrena, you guys ready to make our run for it.

he looks to the rest of the party.

I'm not saying it wont be cool and I'm up for trying it, but what happens if one of us gets stuck behind? I can see me or Gyness getting caught.

sounds fine to me

These people know her and she seems safe here. I still don't like the idea of the troll being distracted by Klaustad here but if he say's he can get us out then we should try. Either way we can address the troll later, at least it would seem. We should hurry hopefully Zane can still manage to find somthing to track in this god awful weather.

Desmond lets down his guard and starts to move toward the rear for their departure.

I do not understand, still trying to close a buisness deal with this beast outside. He seems to have no fear of it. Currious that he would not be wiped. Has to be hiding somthing.

Desmond waits watching the door prepared for the worse.

Your lordship, I understand the need men feel to confess when they feel they have met their end. While I would be happy to help you deal with your abomination of a son. We still have a large angry troll outside. Unless it follows the napkin at the quick thinking of our cleric we have a bigger problem at the moment.

Desmond takes the news with the resolve of a warrior, but he is breathing heavy as if he had just ran a bit due to the adrenalin pumping from the close encounter with the Troll.

Well it is demoralized this round assuming its a normal troll, but yeah I was not crazy about fighting this thing. I just didn't want it to come inside.

We must engage it on the street. To wait in here is to endanger these people. It may either tear the place down upon us or rip and tear at them regardless of us. May the Gods guide my blade.

Desmond walk forward 15' just outside the massive beast reach as he stares it down attempting to unnerve it.

intimidate: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

Desmond rises grabing up his shield and drawing his silvery blade he steps in front of the noble lord positioning himself between him and the door.

Pardon me Lord Klaustad, but you should fall back. It would seem maybe this bridge troll has followed his prey here.

its blocked from work for me

Desmond drinks down his cider as he sits back. Eyeing and sizing up the man.

What an unusal question. Sounds like someone asking to make sure we didn't see anything. Better be cautious.

This is a fine broth old woman. Some ale would be apprciated. We thank you.

Desmond continues to eat drink and watch the room.

I post mainly from work and can't access it

Desmond strolls in taking note of the patron.

[i]They seem to not like outsiders, wonder why[i]

He goes up to the table with Gyness and takes a seat leaning his large shield against the wall.

Soup does sound good. I could use some warming up.

Don't know why I expecting something other than this dark and ominous looking place. Oh well hope we can at least get dry and have somthing to eat and maybe drink before they try and kill us, right Gyness?

Desmond states the obvious with a bit of sarcasm and laughter in his voice.

you set the scene. I'm surprised Corvus didn't scrape her with silve/nonsilver to test. That is what we should do with all encounters in the woods now :)

Desmond would be a few feat behind as he turnted to the bridge but would be backing away from the bridge looking back and forth trying to keep up with the cart.

To Arms

Desmond spins around peering through the driving rain. He draws his sword and braces behind his shield trying to get a glimps of what has fallen upon them.

Gyness, I know not how much holy power you posses, but maybe you could relieve the young woman of some pain. It seems Zane has a few scratches as well.

Please miss, don't try and talk. Save your strength. We can escort you and then maybe we can get some answers. Desmond looks around seeing if anyone interjects or has any comments to make.

Something bestial. Could have been a were druid I guess, perhaps not thougth. Curious

Lets get the cart up here for our young lady friend and try and get to this inn as quick as possible.

Desmond takes a moment to drop his sword and shield rushing to the aid of the kicking legs. He summons up all his might with the aid of his new friend.

strenght check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

hopefully that made it. Will let DM describe what happens

We should still be cautions. We still don't know aht put these people down or what made them rise again. I will take point. With Me Men!!
Desmond moves forward being cautious peering over and around his shield scanning the area.

action one
move from F4 to G5

action two
Attack prone skeleton: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
damagae: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

not sure if I hit

Desmond take a mighty stride and stands over the unholy beast as it claws and struggles about in the grease. He takes another swing trying to send these things back to hell.

Zane fall back and take out the other one. I will handle this one. Gyness take the other and advance slowly. If there was a scream we may not be too late.

With me Zane, let us send these beast to the rest they deserve.

Action one
Move from C4 to F4 taking an AoO from Skeleton 5

Action two
Attack skeleton 5 with sword
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Desmond moves forward with military like precision despite the pounding rain blurring everyone's vision. He moves in deep enough into the enemy lines that Zane may follow. He finishes with a mighty swing against the unholy beast, but the agile skeleton moves almost as if it still had wits about it.

yeah when he said core book only I thought a tank would be fun. I usually play more offens type's. Can't believe I didn't purchase a bludgeoning weapon. I could have sworn spiked gauntlet was P/B but nope just P. Oh well. Stupid skeleton rolling nat 20's on me.

just don't attack anymore, aid my attacks your punches won't do any damage. without improved unarmed strike you deal non-leathal damage which undead are immune.

ok no prob

Thats it Gyness show them the power of your god

Acton 1
move to C4
Action 2
Attack Skeleton 1 with spiked gauntlet
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 +4 for prone? so a 22
damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Desmond looks on admiring the priest bravery before stepping in and smashing his mighty fist down on the flailing unholly beast trying to rip its way free from the corpse.

before, I had the screen open ready to post then got tied up making some network cables. got back posted then realized I just moved into grease. if its cool with you I will just step over to skeleton 1 with the same results though now I can't really protect the priest.
