Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Feels like it.

Darius nods to Zaelos' order. He checks his gear to make sure it is secure, and begins to move in a manner to avoid detection. He watches the patrols and moves between their movements to avoid detection, until he arrives at Romm's location.

Darius smiles at Arana and says, "I'm sure I could learn something, if you were there."

He turns to Zaelos, "Commander?"

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Darius quickly chimes in, I'll go with her.

No worries for rolling for me.

I thought it would move quicker if I went ahead and did it and asked in the post, instead of posting in discussion, asking, and then posting.

Darius begins moving in on his foes, trying to catch them by surprise. Unfortunately, the poorly fitting uniform that he had obtained earlier on the planet did not give him full range of motion to approach as quietly as he would have liked. His speed with his blaster and two well placed shots allowed him to take out two of the patrol as they turned to see him. Seeing it's about to be two on one, Darius smiles at the challenge.

Are we waiting on the destiny point or my sneak?

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Sorry for delayed response. I've been swamped with work. I'm up for trying to sneak up.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Darius gives a look of acknowledgment to the order, and nods in agreement with Karval.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Darius looks more closely at the map and asks the others for some feedback for some other routes that don't begin where they are but, track through other areas of the city. Once he's identified those routes, he attempts to send an encrypted burst message to the other teams on the ground who can assist with this objective.

Triumph spent

In fairness, I am deleting a post that I never saw. For some reason, it posted my rolls twice with different results. The first one appeared while I was drafting and editing the second one. The second one was the only one that I saw until I posted the first one.

I deleted the first one, but here it is in case you want to use those rolls (I didn't check them to see if they were better or worse):

I'm going to assume that everyone is helping with this check, unless I hear otherwise. I also took some liberties, feel free to adjust.

Darius motions for everyone to gather around the map as he begins to suggest a path, as he goes through his suggested route, pointing out ways they can move covertly.

As he points to one part of the route, Arana chimes in and explains a slight adjustment to help them go unseen.

When reaches another area, Janitor talks about an old trick that his squad used to move through that type of area without drawing attention to themselves in a previous battle.

Listening to Zaleos talk about his experience on Malaki, leads to another improvement on the original plan.

Karval ads the finishing touches, pointing out ways to avoid detection by hiding in the alleyways and avoiding patrols.

I haven't posted because I'm waiting on a response to the above to make sure I do the rolls correctly.

I'm up for it, if everyone else is.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Darius shakes his head, and with a laugh asks, "Did all of you bang your heads up in that crash?"

He looks over the datapad and makes a few changes in what Arana entered... "There we go!"

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Zaleos, I don't know that it matters, but you also had a boost from my last roll.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

I don't remember having that, but I'll assume I do, unless the GM says otherwise...

Darius, checks to see if the equipment was damaged in the crash. He responds, Yes, Commander.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

High=Janitor, Low=Zaleos 1d100 ⇒ 91

Hearing Janitor's warning and having his wits about him, Darius launches off the speeder with an unnatural grace and rolls on the ground, reducing his impact to nothing more than some dirt on his clothing.

Standing up, Darius responds to Janitor and says I'm fine. It looks like you got the worst of it.

Still here. Assumed it was dead, but thought I'd check. I have a bit more going on in life these days, but I'm up for continuing. My posting might be a little slower though.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

It's going well. I just got back from your side of the world. I was in Iceland for a few days.

I hope your Christmas goes well also.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

So, has this game died?

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Thank you for the thanksgiving wishes. I'm going to have limited internet access the 17th through the 22nd. Feel free to npc my character, as needed.

Darius thinks on the commander's words for a moment ...not to mention the fact the entire Rebel force is looking for this shuttle...

"Is there any way we can ditch the shuttle but continue it on some form of a pre-programed course toward another critical location?"

ATTENTION!

I have possession of the Force & Destiny Beta. I will be implementing a few rules from this book to assist with the current setting.

For anyone seeking to further there Force skills and such, you need to seek out a master in game in order to gain the option to take trees and powers from this book.

Only what is available in Edge of the Empire or Age of Rebellion can be selected without training.

So get out there and find yourselves a master.

Is that for everyone?

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Darius grabs two stim packs and administers them to himself. With a soothing sigh he adds, If there aren't civilians surrounding anti ground defenses, could we use the orbital bombardments that had been planned for the hangar? What do we know about these defenses?

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Darius staggers aboard the ship, looking like that last volley of shots did some significant damage to him.

Darius moves to one of the gunner's positions, and opens fire.

Darius' shots help clear the path for the pilots.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Does that help the character's soak?

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Are the flight suits considered armor?

Darius takes aim of the Sergeant again.

Darius' shot hits the Sergeant in the head again, disorienting him. The second head shot seems to have caused some problem's with the Sergeant's speach.

Not hearing what he expects for a quick shuttle prep, Darius radios Zaleos on his comm, Sir, it might be worth picking a different ship. That one is likely to get shot down as soon as it takes off. After that message, Darius shouts some words of encouragement to Karval.

Spend 1 advantages to give Karval a boost on his next check.

Darius' shot hits the sergeant in the face, causing burns and deformity.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

I found this reference sheet, if it will help anyone.

I think I roll a d100 and add 20 then look at the chart. GM, I'm sure you'll correct me if I'm wrong.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Let me know how to handle the crit. I have some talents that assist with them.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

On that note, Darius is happy to take them.

I always enjoy it the most when they refuse to go the easy way! Darius says as he raises his blaster up, takes aim, and fires at the sergeant.

Darius' shot hits the sergeant much harder than he expected.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

At this point, Darius isn't shooting anyone because you have all indicated that as long as they let us board we will let them live.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

I'm waiting to follow leadership.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Darius draws his blaster and takes aim of the highest ranking individual around him.

Damnit... We should kill them and move on. It'd give us more of a head start, he thinks to himself.

Cool: 2d8 ⇒ (7, 3) = 10

Success x 2, Advantage x 1

Darius will also spend an advantage to notice something important

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Darius is waiting for leadership to make a move. :)

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Zaleos, what about surface to air ordinance?

Getting away with a logical reason is going to be the win here, if it can be done.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Darius is standing ready for a fight, but hoping some fast talking will move us past this. His conclusion is that leaving on a ship after a fight has a highly likelihood of us getting shot down.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

My character would be just fine with trying to steal the Millennium Falcon. He also would have been just fine letting this place be destroyed from space and suffering civilian casualties. Those are probably some of the reasons Darius isn't in charge.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Nah, he's not as sharp in his old age. He has probably let his guard down.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

It would be pretty cool to be credited for stealing that ship. :)

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Darius maintains his soldier's discipline, keeping his mind and hand ready to draw his blaster and fire, while trying to put himself in an optimal position for a firefight.

Male Human Bounty Hunter (Assassin, Gadgeteer) - Wound: 16/16 - Strain: 14/14 - Soak: 2 (3 in Armor)

Darius watches to see if the men act silly move in front of the group and lead them, or if they begin to move tactically to surround them like prisoners.
