I still find this fun. Yes, I'm the guy who finds TPKs fun. Shh. Oh, and don't forget our main goal. We simply need to flee with the braid and secure the last living descendant. Argue that Je Tsun can ask the Pathfinder Society for help in reclaiming her village in exchange for activating the braid or something. I dunno!

"Elian!" Dagat yells, seeing him left unattended.

Elian, you should have stayed asleep! (I kid!) But, boy, this isn't going well. I calmly suggest a strategic retreat. Thael, I hope you have a spell that will help out.

I don't thinking spending a point here will help. Dangit. Why couldn't they be human?! At least then they'd be Dagat's favored enemy. Not that she's speciesist or anything. She just wants certain things to die more than others.

Dagat staying put so the Bandit 7 can't get through her to the others. Not that it will help.

This battle really isn't going well. Move action to draw scimitar, 5-foot step SW to flank, then standard to attack Bandit #7.

Dagat avoids the bandit's blade and draws her scimitar with her free hand. She moves to flank the bandit and quickly strikes with her blade.

Scimitar: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 + 2 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Deleted Action OOC:
Drawing a weapon doesn't provoke an AoO, but I'm not sure if waking someone up would. In the spell description, it says waking someone up is an application of the aid another action. The Aid Another rules state "If you aid someone performing an action that would normally provoke an attack of opportunity, then the act of aiding another provokes an attack of opportunity as well" which doesn't make it clearer.

I really don't want to give the tengu an AoO though. An unarmed kick would work for non-lethal damage, but an unarmed attack provokes AoO without the proper feat. So whatever your ruling, I'll attack Chaul with a non-lethal blow from my scimitar to wake him up. It's for a good cause, Chaul!

WAIT. THOUGHT CHAUL WAS SLEEPING. HOLD ON, EDITING.

Interesting! We might not have did as well as we could have, but let's kick bandit butt anyway.

Dagat will stay behind the northern barricades of the main road, shooting bandits with a vengeance. It would be even more awesome if she was doing it on top of a house for higher ground, but that might be a tad too exposed for her tastes.

Am I using my own arrows here, though? I have about 50 arrows with me and while that means about 50 turns of consecutive shooting (roughly 5 minutes of Dagat fury), Dagat's effectiveness would drop after she runs out, if this raid lasts that long. Also, a bunch of the remaining are specialty arrows where I would like to use only Common ones. I don't mind in either case, but I'd like to know beforehand so I don't get surprised if I run out of arrows mid-raid!

Oh, and I don't think it was clarified, but are all the bandits tengu? Because I have a nifty favored enemy against humans which I'm not sure to apply when the time comes.

Woooooah. Didn't expect this. Do those potions she gave come pre-identified?

Dagat, as the daughter of a chieftain, is well-versed with the politics and deliberations of the thing. Her skills are rusty and oft-forgotten, but she still knows enough to be able to speak with authority.

"Concentrate everyone on Bringing in the Harvest," she says. "I will teach Archery Training when it is done. Then, Flood the Fields. An attack on us will become more difficult and the archers will be more effective this way. Also Post two Scout groups. Knowing when they come will be a great advantage. Once we know when they come, we can focus on constructing barricades or teaching Combat Training, depending on the time we have left. This is my advice."

Dagat would like to speak to Je Tsun regarding the Braid and activating it and whatnot. Also subtly hint that she might be able to use it to defend the town as a sweetener. That was our initial mission after all and Dagat would see it through.

Nope, no smartypants here.

Dagat translates the rider's words for the others.

Feel free to look at the spoiler up there.

"One of them might know who we search for," Dagat says, and already she has her bow out. Her voice is vicious when she speaks next. "Diplomacy? Of course. We may try after they have acquired a few arrows in them."

To the new pathfinders, Dagat has been a stoic woman throughout their trip and this is one of the few times she shows any strong emotion.

Also, to those who weren't here for the previous adventures, diplomacy in our group translates to violence.
