I'll admit my bias right up front: I love this series!

The evocative and modular 'Faces of the Tarnished Souk' series serves as a stellar companion to the Coliseum Morpheuon setting, adding character, intrigue and mysterious flesh to a high-level universe already bursting with possibilities.
More than anything, I appreciate the tie-in of Primus Gearheart to the incredible Ironborn rules available from Rite Publishing - this book is perfect for games set within or outside of ColMorph as background for Ironborn PCs and NPCs alike.

By any standards, this book is really, REALLY good.
I wouldn't have been interested in working on it if the original GM Gems hadn't been one of my most obsessively-used books, and I certainly, CERTAINLY feel that the sequel (with a few little nudges on my part!) is even better.
This is a fantastic book - and though I may be the first to say it, it's only because I already own a copy. I most certainly won't be the LAST to say it.

First off: I'm not running or playing in a Pathfinder game right now. I love the universe and the stories, but I'm all booked up on role-play at the moment.
So I bought this, I'll admit, entirely for the Rakshasa article - but quite unexpectedly, the rest of the book (both the Red Mantis section & the stellar adventure) caught me and dragged me in. I'll be running elements of this adventure, and soon!
