Verdant Wheel

Hi,

I have made multiple attempts over the past few weeks to contact customer support over the phone as the website indicates is possible. In every attempt the automated system sends me directly to voicemail without ringing and then the voicemail box is full and I am immediately disconnected. I do not wish to use a public forum to discuss my issue as it pertains to sensitive issues such as payments, locations, and personally identifying information.

As you can imagine, this is an extremely frustrating situation, and I would like to get it resolved, but I do not know how to go about this since I am not able to contact the company. Please contact me using the information visible only to employees on my profile so that we can discuss the issue that caused me to call in the first place.

Thank you,
Ciphermagi

To clarify...fame has been this stupid thing I've been tracking forever on all my sheets and it's just going to 'go away' and you think this is a good idea?

I worked for that resource. It took my time and all the other players time, and now you are just going to throw it out with this as the explanation.

Good thing I like pathfinder 2nd edition enough to deal with your society nonsense. You guys need to get your act together.

For future notice if your Player community works for something, then tracks it, you could at least give them something for it. Seriously this week alone I played 5 games, each one the DM had to note fame, and track it. Now it's garbage. I'm betting that this was 5 hours of combined human effort. How many hours do you think players have tracked this if you add up all their combined sheets. You could at least let them spend it on gold or boons. You literally make all this up. Just make something up to replace their hard work.

So disrespectful to your community.

Please read the entire article.

Hej, I experienced a game where two paladins both had the Sacred Shield archetype.

The question I have is the behaviour of Bastion of Good when stacked.

I imagine that, like Smite Evil (which it replaces and functions like), the bonuses that each paladin gets work independently of one another, so each paladin will gain their own charisma bonus as a deflection bonus to AC.

However, since the ability says that all allies within 10 feet take half damage from the target, and the ability also states that the paladin takes full damage, does that mean that the paladins, if inside one another's auras, will take half or full damage?

Also, if another character is inside both auras and the paladins both used the ability on the same creature, does that mean that the third player will take half damage or one quarter (half of half) damage?

Good morning, folks.

Actually, charm allows them to make an opposed charisma check to convince you to do something you normally wouldn't...as long as it's not directly threatening to you.

Since I was no longer being attacked, there was no perceptible threat...and my charisma checks are at -2.

The Not-So-Feast of Ravenmoor:

Our group encountered a pet stirge on the road to Ravenmoor, which the barbarian pregen quickly crushed into a bloody pulp. The (two) barbarians then proceeded to accidentally offend the little boy whose pet the stirge was while the paladin tried to make amends.

We wandered around town a little bit, and went and talked to a couple of the merchants, including the weaver. We also went to the effigy...although I don't remember whether we actually fought the effigy or not (I want to say we didn't).

The paladin went off on his own to talk to the mayor, cast detect evil on him, and found him to be incredibly evil.

Then the feast started, and we won the knife throwing contest, then killed the strange greased-up plant pig thing.

The paladin confronted the mayor at the feast and for his trouble got poisoned and fell asleep for a few hours...never split the party. He did, however, before he left, tell us that the mayor was an evil bastard.

The barbarians confronted the mayor as everyone was sitting down to eat, got a spectacular roll on sense motive, and knew the mayor was not exactly being forward with us. Since the barbarian had also previously been told the mayor was evil, he proceeded to crit the mayor's face with a raging barbarian's greatsword...in the middle of everyone. The mayor died....or so it appeared.

The mayor's brother, a ton of cultists, and the weaver all attacked us. We downed a few of the cultists, and the barbarians slapped the silly out of the mosquito thing and the strange monkey looking thing that used to be the mayor's brother. The weaver transformed into some spellcaster thing and proceeded to charm me and make me start removing my armour while everybody except one barbarian got poisoned by the cultists and fell asleep in the middle of combat. After running out of spells the crazy shapeshifting weaver bugged out and we got the taxes from the town and went home (after rescuing the paladin from where he was stuffed in some sort of cellar space).

We were done with the module in less than three hours.

There is currently no VL, and the VC takes months to get in contact with.

I am having a Society problem in my area. I would like to speak with someone who can help me out, but I don't want to go blasting everything all over the forums, and I need this to go past the VC level. How do I get in contact with someone who can assist me in a more private manner?

I sit at a high five or a low six. I actively encourage my players to do things that may not be in the rules, and try to find ways in the rules to make it possible, albeit at an occasionally higher difficulty.

Using shatter on a giant scorpion's stinger to deprive the beast of some ability to damage the party may be more difficult, but it's highly creative.

Throwing raw sewage at an enemy that is assaulting a party mate may not be the ideal way to bring down the enemy, but I'm sure I can drop a sickened condition on there, if only for a short time.

I think every person in this thread is guilty of violating Paizo's written rules. Honestly, if you were having this discussion on a board that I was moderating, I would delete it.
