Very Impresive

5/5

My group found the refinements found in this book, to Ultimate Campaigns' mass combat system, easy to use and to understand. I personally found the refinements to army creation far less of a headache then I was anticipating.

Well done

Good, but not perfect

3/5

Firstly this is a Pathfinder compatible product. The cover shown is for the 5th ed version of this book.

This book is 99 pages long. The first eight are devoted to the credits, Table of contents, and spell list by class. Sine this was published in '15 classes created after that year are not included in the spell lists. The last four pages are the Legal appendix, and a couple of advertisements for other Frog God products.

The rest of the book is devoted entirely to spells. These are spells from the 3.0 and 3.5 Necromancer adventures, and other source books. Inside you'll find a nice mix of spells. Some combat, some defensive, and some utility. There are enough variety of spells to keep most spell casters happy.

Now this isn't without flaws. There are no feats, or magical items from those old adventures, and I fell this was a lost opportunity. Also this book could have used another editorial pass to clear out many of the mistakes, and glitches that made it to print. for example, Standard action, and 1 action is used interchangeably for casting times. This is jarring, but not deal breaking IMOP.

If this book had updated feats, and magical items I would give this a five, but it doesn't. I do want to give it a four, but the errors hold this book back, So I'm giving it a 3 stars.

A well crafted tail

Tim's latest offering was both an enjoyable read, and a step up from City of the Fallen Sky. Not that that was a bad book, but this is better.

I'm looking forward to Tim's next book.

Interesting story concept, but flawed exicution

1/5

Sadly I couldn't finish this book mostly due to the way Lewis wrights his dialogue. Sorry, but I felt like I needed a flow chart to keep track of who was talking to who half the time.

What can i say that so many others who have also read this book haven't. Well not much. The story is well written, and the characters remain interesting though to the end.

I can also say, it makes a good introduction into Golarion. Epically, for someone like me who has only a passing knowledge of the setting.

5/5

A fun and enjoyable movie.
