Randomly generated backgrounds? Will it be possible to have the character die during the back-story, like in Traveller?

I love the trait for all the things it is - an overpowered boon to multi-classed spell chuckers.

But I'm glad it's prohibited in PFS because it is overpowered (in my humble opinion) as a trait. If a particular power (trait/feat/spell) becomes a 'must have' for a particular type of build then it's time to take a look at why. In this case it's because it's extremely powerful, for a trait.

If there were a similar feat, some might say it's a little underpowered, but many would still take it I think.

Would you also consider Two Weapon Fighting to be overpowered, by the same logic? It's a 'must have' for any build that wants to effectively use two weapons (except a monk, of course).

Similarly, I've yet to see an archer build not take Point Blank Shot and Precise Shot... these are hardly overpowered options, they just serve to mitigate the penalties that would be suffered without them.

Aren't Dodos extinct because they just sat still while cats hunted them? Doesn't really seem like the sort of behaviour that suggests a bonus to initiative to me.

I'm not sure I agree with the 'it's not fair to two-weapon fighting builds' argument... just because two-weapon builds need to spend a bunch of extra feats and twice as much gold just to compare with a basic two-handed weapon build, it doesn't mean that monks should have to suffer too.

HP: 49/60 AC: 22, T:13, FF:21, CMD:16. Fort:+5, Ref:+5, Will:+8(+7). Per:+14, Init:+0, AoO:+8

Watching Malthir fall, Fenna lets out a small sigh, the leans down to channel more healing energy into him, "Oh merciful Shepherd, please save this poor man from the terrible irony of his words."

She then slowly begins to make her way out of the courtyard, but is hesitant to leave too hurriedly in case anyone else is seriously injured.

Cure Serious Wounds 3d8 + 6 ⇒ (1, 7, 2) + 6 = 16, then 5' step to I5.

If you go to the beginning post, I specifically said MELEE solutions, not ranged attacks or magic, thanks.

Which becomes "The solution is he's invincible in Melee, kill him with something else."

That's not a solution, it's a cop-out.

OMG!!! Antimagic field is so broken!!!! There's no magical solution to it!!!!

The brilliant thing that Crane Style does let you do? Tank a T-Rex, as a monk (yes, or anyone really), at no risk to yourself! :D

I have to admit, that's awesome. Definitely a feature, not a bug. I'm just seeing this T-Rex come charging over the hill and the monk stepping forward, narrowing his eyes and saying "Don't worry, guys. I got this."

But finds, to his horror, that it's actually a hasted T-Rex!

I think this is supposed to be really hard, but they may have made it harder than what people wanted it to be. I will probably tone it down to every 2 days losing one point to see if that works.

I'm tempted to reduce it to the loss one point each time Event 1 occurs, when I run this.

Spoiler:
Perhaps increasing the number of points lost by one for every three letters spelled out, so the Splatter Man's influence over the town grows more quickly as he nears his goal.
