I played an Oracle of life through an AP once, that was actually surprisingly fun, good at healing and effective at adventuring as well.

My vote is for a Cleric as well, we're reaching the levels where 'Can cover healer' starts to become not enough.

Calder is grumpy with all the circular talking and feels there is nothing else to do but set off. If these villagers want to sit there and die thay can.

I'm still here, if insanely busy the last few weeks so I haven't been posting as often. Still willing to continue but Calder isn't the diplomacy and plotting guy, so he has said his piece and is waiting for a course of action.

"If we're going to fight a Dragon then a good archer is a necessity!" Calder advises. "Best we get Shalelu in the group, and any magic we have to protect against cold should be used as well"

Thinking it over he adds. "If we look weak it might get over confident and come close enough for use the attack. So a small, harmless loking group to face it at first while the rest of us hide until needed?"

Not really, Calder can't think of much more than heading back and telling them their precious Shaman was betraying them. Hopefully someone with better social skills can do the talking.

Calder cleans his axe, nodding to the others. "Nice work." He says in praise of the teamwork. He eyes the dead mans equipment with curiosity but leaves it for the casters to examine.

Giving Carinthia a look he asks ."How did this one get hold of you? Are there others who might be his captives?"

Calder is slammed to the ground by the icy winds, as he scrambles back to his feet he catches a glimpse of Tunuak's location. "There!" He bellows, pointing to the worthless liar. Readying to move towards him when he's back on two legs.

Calder keeps watch of the passage while the healing takes place. Taking a potion of Invisibility from his pouch he passes it to Aiko, then he unslings the Heavy pick he's never used and gives it to the new woman.

He is wounded but still standing, so lets the others heal up first.

Handy haversack, so the rope is there when I reach for it.

Noting the woman struggling with her chains Calder draws a throwing axe and tosses it down to land within her reach.

He then moves to block the last Frostfallen. Stopping before he reaches the area covered by the Grease spell.

Calder shrugs, once again amused by how bad the supposedly stealthy were at being just that. Taking a pair of iron spikes from his haversack he hammers one in hard and set on his side. Securing the rope and throwing it across the the rest of the party with the other spike.

Not much chance of finding a funeral boat to send him off on, so a pyre is what Calder is planning.

Calder struggles to his feet. Groaning in more than pain when he sees that Tallak is not rising. He moves closer, eyeing Nightfang carefully.

"Easy, easy." He says softly. "Your friend is gone. Let us ready him for sending to the gods as he has earned."

Calder intends to make a pyre, stacking the Wikkawak bodies at Tallaks feet as a sign of his strength and courage. While he's keeping a stoic face he is very saddened by his friends death.

While he's saddened by Tallaks death Calder would think that Tallak has avenged his son and died in battle. He will miss having someone sensible to talk to though.

Sounds like a good idea. I suggest Calder, Tallak and Nightfang in front. Vasta, Koya, Shalelu & Clare behind them with spells, bombs and arrows. Aiko and Sandru hiding on the flanks.

Calder will grin happily. Stepping 5' to his left to clear the way for others to join the fight. At last something that can be settled the right way. With the violent application of a big axe!

Calder sighs but also drinks Clara's extract. He's getting used to her pulling out odd liquids for people to use. "I can be stealthy." He mutters sulkily.

Calder has Boots of the Winterlands, he can lead the way as this is his favored terrain (Mostly?). Plus he has stealth and a good perception

Calder leads the way with Tallak, keeping an eye and ear out for any ambush or guards.
