This item is very attractive but the thin wood was slightly warped out of the box. I'd recommend this item to anyone that can use it at least a few times, but for one or two adventures, or less, its probably not worth it.

This item adds a fun alternative to boring old 'double-damage'. I'd recommend using the deck for player criticals only. Using it for monsters or NPCs may be fun for the DM, but not the player.

Unlike the previous review, my string broke AT the die on both ends. It broke so close to the dice that there was no way to reattach it.

I'm disappointed in my self for buying this.

for AD&D, which was a great resource for NPC generation.

KoK is very well-developed if you like a campaign setting with very little room for customization.

This system of random cards in booster packs is less satisfying. I love the original item deck, wish this was like that one.

I expected this item to be on the scale of the Dragon Compendium: specifically longer and hardcover. Most of these ecologies were taken from Dragon issues of the last two years and were duplicated for me. All in all, not worth the money...maybe for $9.95.

Does anyone else wish this thing was bigger. I'd gladly pay the extra money for a hardbound copy in a full-size (12"x9") format.

This is a solidly-built minature case but it is only suitable for medium-sized characters and creatures.

This product is built more solidly than I expected. It is made from heavy wood and I bought one for each corner of my gaming table.
