If the cops showed up at Jimmy's place first, then Bryce will take a moment to wipe the handle of the knife in his hands clean with his shirt-tail, then pulling his shirt sleeve down over his hand, throw the weapon as far away as possible, either in the opposite direction of Jimmy's place, or into the woods, if there are any nearby. Back at the pizzeria, he says "Pepperoni again? Sheesh!"

DM Default - I'm curious about your Grappling rolls. The roll you made for Jimmy to get away was his first roll after Buck's initial Grappling roll, which should have been his Opposed roll to Buck's initial Grapple. And Jimmy's 9 doesn't beat Buck's 11. Even if you just gave Buck the initial success, and your roll *was* Jimmy's first attempt to break free, Buck should get an Opposed roll against it. And, why the -2? (Also, a sucker punch is a Fighting attack at -4 that can do damage, but can't break free. And breaking free excludes any other actions, like a sucker punch. But I can understand if you were just trying to be descriptive.)

Bryce, adrenaline pumping from the prospect of having to take on *more* zombies outside, runs up to the nearest dropped zombie, kneels, and stabs it in the chest several times. "Die, die, DIE - you f*@#ing zombie!" he shouts. Then he realizes that *ALL* of the zombies are on the ground, and gets up, saying "Ummm...just making sure, is all." GM Default - do they *look* like zombies, or just dead senior citizens? Any grey pallor, or anything that makes them look unusual?

Seeing that Matt is struggling with the window, Bryce taps on the glass to get his attention, holds up his hand palm out in a "stop" signal, and unlocks the window latch. Then he opens up the window, shouts to Katrina and Wu "Come on!" and climbs out. Only to find himself face-to-face with 3 *more* zombies...

Recovering from Shaken : Spirit & Wild: 1d8 ⇒ 71d6 ⇒ 2 = 7, Success, I can act! Going on the Defense (Defend action, +2 to Parry), Bryce waves the knife about wildly at all the zombies near him, and moves towards the window that Matt is opening, shouting "The window's opening, I suggest we all get out of here!"

My Parry is 4, so the sombie missed. Bryce swipes his kitchen knife at the nearest zombie again : Fighting & Wild: 1d4 ⇒ 11d6 ⇒ 4 = 4 Just in case they have a low Parry :
"Guys, don't you think we might want to get outside of this cramped trailer, and maybe make a run for it? I don't like these odds!"

Bryce will likewise try to pick up something, maybe a knife from the kitchen (do I need a roll for that?). DM Default, it just occurred to me - were we allowed to buy equipment for our Archetypes? If so, Bryce would certainly have a Swiss Army knife with a...well, knife...in it. Attacking one of the *other* senior citizens, other than Brittany's meemaw : Fighting & Wild: 1d4 ⇒ 31d6 ⇒ 1 But in his panicked state, he misses wildly.

I'm posting this to all of my SW games, I hope the DM doesn't mind... I’d like to try running a Savage Worlds Necessary Evil (NE) campaign. Executive summary : the PC’s are super-villians, and are Earth’s last defense against a race of aliens that came to visit, wiped out all the Earth’s super-heroes, and are now taking over the Earth. If you’re interested, please go to Recruitment.

Bryce comes in late, looks around and finds the group in a large corner booth in the back, and slides in, saying "Sorry, guys, my replacement at the computer lab was late, and I had to stay until she showed up." Looking at the pizza, he says in mock derision "What, pepperoni *again*? Don't you guys ever want to try something different? I keep telling you, don't knock ham and pineapple until you've tried it..." |
