The monk bows gracioulsly, "Thank you for the kind offer Master GardukthewelljustGarduk. However, I have one that is similar in nature." He activates the wand, feeling the protection wash over him. He then focuses for a moment, calling on inner energies to strengthen his skin. He pulls a small bag and removes a small white crystal marked with the symbol of Irori. After a brief meditation, the crystal becomes gray. The archer then places the gem into a separate bag.

Have the same wand and doing the same thing. Also spending a Ki point to cast Barkskin. Both have an hour duration. Activating a Meditation Crystal to recover the Ki Point.

For the community in general, has anyone heard from Helikon recently? It looks like it has been a couple of weeks since he has posted. Even given the holidays, that is quite a bit of time not to post. I just want to make certain they are alright.

On a VC / replacement GM level, Helikon was our GM for Gameday 8 run of The Jarlsblood Witch Saga. We have finished the game and are waiting on chronicles to be issued (with a question about purchasing Heightened Continual Light cast by a player).

A quite Taldan man in monks robes stands at the rear of the room, a large bow strapped to his quiver. He tried several times to introduce himself, but he was never able to hold anyone's attention long enough to speak for any length of time.

Technically, I have point blank master, so I don't provoke when I shoot. Improved Unarmed Strike means I threaten and provide flanking. So, you might not be totally alone.

Summoners: I believe I hit the reaver with a Pheromone Arrow. It gives a +2 circumstance bonus to hit & damage. This may be of use to any beasties you bring to the field.

The soft-spoken archer steps forward and allows the reverie of the path call out to him and he falls into a sacred rhythm. He selects a special arrow to begin with, then starts sending arrows at the reaver. He calls on years of training to find the will to fire just a little faster.

Rapture 6 rounds/day (Su) An exciter gains the ability to enter an ecstatic state in which he’s consumed and overwhelmed by his passions and driven into a fighting fury. This functions similarly to a bloodrager’s bloodrage, treating his spiritualist level as his bloodrager level, though he doesn’t qualify for feats or other elements that require rage or bloodrage. When entering a rapture, the exciter loses all other benefits from having his phantom confined in his consciousness (such as the Skill Focus feats and bonus against mind-affecting effects), but he can choose to exchange the normal +4 morale bonus to his Strength and Constitution scores normally gained from bloodrage for a +4 morale bonus to his Dexterity and Charisma scores or a +2 morale bonus to his Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, and Charisma scores. In addition to the fatigue for ending a bloodrage, an exciter can’t enter a rapture again for 1 minute after ending his last rapture.

Both are great suggestions. I have always been a fan of "More targets means lower percentage of PC's getting hit". I vote summons. It may keep him occupied long enough to buff and soak attacks on us.

Going to take a moment to switch my Hunter's Focus from Mouse {Evasion} to Wolf {Scent}. If I have to, I will shoot it with a pheromone arrow, giving me an additional +2 circumstance bonus to hit. It will work for any creature with scent, including animal companions (should that apply). He will also refresh his Mage Armor, then cast Shield, Aspect of the Falcon and Gravity Bow {in that order} just before they go in.
