Len casts invisibility on himself so hep can follow more easily. Upon arriving at the scene of combat, he begins an audible performance, and moves to provide flanking with Brox.

Believing that an attack in imminent on the hounds, Lem begins a bardic performance, (dance) in silence, to bolster his comrades until such time he can break into song, or something more amusing still.

I suppose we could make stealth checks to sneak up for a surprise round, or do we already have such a thing?

The small halfling moves to his Llama, and carefully stows his gear, "I am past due in Absalom. Perhaps we will meet again at the Lodge."

I am trying to capture the magic of our adventure in a chronicle for the Grand Lodge, and I think that starting at the encounter with the Customs Officer is appropriate. . . "

Lem continues to weave his deception and half truths "We are in a great deal of trouble. Simply put, Madame, someone has deduced that you somehow pry the most valuable secrets from your patrons. We see no harm in that at all. In fact, it has turned out to be quite beneficial to all involved. Unfortunately, as we speak, one of your less than satisfied customers is rousing no small amount of support in his attempt to find out where the information came from, and how it was pried from him. We are here to find out from you how you stole the information so we can redirect the poor fellows attentions towards other means of doing much the same. After all, there are no less than several dozen methods to get information. We just have to make sure he does not start pulling the thread that belongs to this house. If he does, well. If he does, I am sure you know how those things generally end."

Lem switches his tune to one he hopes will inspire a little competence in the lie he is about to tell. As he finishes the brief solo, he launches into a desperate plea with the servant while the music lingers in his ears. "We have very important business with your mistress, please us to her. It may be a matter of life and death! I only ask you, because I shudder to think of what might become of you if something were to happen to her.
