Bamboom considers spitting at the town as he leaves, but it doesn't deserve his water. If anything, it deserves -- as Popcorn wanted -- to be burned to the ground, and Lady Constance punished for being a fleshy her crimes the way Wick was punished.

Still, all's well that ends well, and they've saved the day. He nods to his recent companions, sure that they will get to play be called on again at some point.

Bamboom spreads into position, lashing out at the awful leshies, which appear to have been corrupted and be no better than fleshies.

"You're an embarrassment to our heritage!" Bamboom shoots back at his evil bamboo counterpart, stepping in to attack.

Bamboom wants to spray his foes with shards of hot wood, but can't figure out a way to do so without also hitting his friends. Gritting his nonexistant teeth, he decides to help Popcorn instead, summoning a protector tree to her side, then lashes out at scaredy-suckle.

Bambooms eyes widen as their fellow leshies turn on them. They've been corrupted by the sins of the flesh! He snarls as bamboo splinters start to whirl around him, lashing out at his stalk-ing bamboo counterpart. He sends another hail of splinters toward the same foe, then coalesces the wood around him to form an impervious shell!

It looks like they're between us and our friends. If so, I'll stick with this action. If not, I'll skip my second Strike and Stride toward the captives so I can free them

Bamboom can barely contain his own rage at the mass murder of innocent vegetables! Each one seems like more of an insult than the last! Why are they not making something from dead cows, or dead pigs, or dead fish, or any other dead fleshy! He steals glances at the halfling, considering what kind of dish he would make!

Once released, he makes his way around, looking for whatever a centerpiece may be? Surely that would be on the edges of the ground?

If Bamboom had teeth, he would definitely grit them as he resisted the urge to kill this foul fleshy, or at least bark back at him. Instead he just nods, ducking his head as he heads for the kitchen. Once inside, they can stop this awful pretending and start looking for their friends.

"I can grow a tree we can climb to get over the stupid wall!" Bamboom says. He's not sure about the plan to appear like workers, but it's worth a try. If it fails, he'll just take care of whoever's causing problems anyway. Which is what he would do if he didn't have to play pretend with chairs.

"That's just what they want you to think!" Bamboom retorts. "Look at how unnatural this place is. I'm sure they do afternoon tea would be first thing in the morning!"

He looks around.

"No one's here. Let's sneak in!"

Bamboom rips all the covers off the bed! That'll teach them to mess with us!

Bamboom shrugs as he looks at the others. Then, one door being much as good as the other -- and certain that this is no yellow wood and that he would in fact be able to try both -- he heads for the one further to the south.

"So you admit it!" Bamboom yells. "Smart move, fleshy, but that's not going to stop us from putting an end to your reign of terror!"

Splinters of wood suddenly begin to flow around him, whirling in a deadly rain of shrapnel as a handful slash toward the fleshy evil-doer. A moment later, a tree springs from the ground, offering protection!

"And Galan quit!" he yells as a final blow!

Bamboom scowls, satisfied that the group has solved another problem, and moves to the door. "Let's find this stupid Darius and burn that Wick from both ends!"

"Oh, we'll tell him!" Bamboom promises in a threatening voice, not quite realizing that doing exactly what they've been asked isn't really a harsh blow to this fleshy!

He looks around the new room, debating whether they should just smash the crystals. To teach them all a lesson! He decides to take a closer look at them first, though, just in case. Recall Knowledge? +8 Nature

"Jasmine! That's what we smelled earlier! He's our killer!" Bamboom declares.

"Tell us where he is now before you become an accomplice!"

Bamboom glares at the clearly suspicious baker. He probably uses flour. Made from plants!!! And trying to avoid the question?! Would anyone who's not guilty do that? Bamboom doesn't think so!

Bamboom looks around, glowering at the fleshies. He marches up to the closest one, hands on his hips. "Tell us where our friends are right now!"

"No! Leshies aren't for eating!" Bamboom scolds, drawing on the power of the verdant and sending a branch flying to try to scare off the monstrous monsters. He summons a tree to help protect them!

He ponders what he knows of his missing flower folk.

"What fella?" Bamboom demands! He wonders why Glimmer appears to be coated with bark, but decides she's probably just trying to not look like a fleshy.

Bamboom scowls at Glimmer. Pixies have flesh, so aren't to be trusted, but they don't have as much flesh as big fleshies, so aren't as bad.

"We're busy, looking for some friends!" he tells her.

If no one responds to Popcorn, Bamboom starts going through the fleshies' stuff.

Would I know if our missing leshies could have been turned into flowers?

Bamboom carefully goes over, looking for signs of violence. Did someone kill one of the poor lavenders and then dismember her corpse?!

"Stupid fleshies!" Bamboom snarls, thinking about all the creatures that most likely are responsible for such awful behavior. Bunnies. It was probably bunnies. With their vicious plant-eating ways, and stupid oversized teeth. And what's with all the carrots? What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?!

"I can swim across," he says assuredly. "Do we have more vines? We can make a new bridge!" He ponders simply creating some, but isn't sure that would be enough. I can generate elements, but has to be light or negligible bulk.

Bamboom's face turns into a scowl. "Some sort of fleshy is eating us! Damned vegetarians!" he growls. "It's time to get down to the root causes of this and then I'm going to weed out the problem!"
