hmmmm... im not too much a fan of the blast spells however, though it is cool to change spells to a preferred damage type or do extra damage the dex bonus is what i think to be less useful to the massive bonus to con gained by an infernal kyton spawn. the only reason i think dex is less useful is because i plan to go bloodmage

Greetings,
I want to fully exploit the affinity traits of the tiefling or ifrit but im having trouble deciding what to do. My DM is allowing me to use the tiefling variants of kyton born so my lvl 3 Sorcerer has an effective cha of 22. my main question is, which bloodline, infernal, elemental (fire) or abysal do you think is the best. I want to take bloodmage initiate (bloat) so i think the con bonus for pit-touched is temping. im also heavily considering the tattoo variant. gimme feedback. Also unless someone convinces me ifrits are amazing i would much rather be playing my Kytonspawn!

I know there is a trait that does this temporarily but is there anything else that stacks with these robes to bring your bloodline abilities higher?

would one or more levels of barbarian work with this build?

i think im deciding to make a martial artist with a strong focus on stunning fist, going ability focus (in my game this is allowed for stunning fist ) i believe crane style and is there a trait that gives me a +1 on the DC for this? is there anything terrible about that build im not seeing, i know the no ki pool thing is a hit but i think its worth it all in all

what does MAD stand for, also im looking at alot of monk feats and im warming up to them because of the ki throw powers. Also what do you guys think about a monk 3 druid +++ who has the feat that lets you stack unarmed damage and the feat that lets you have full wild shaping. go mountain druid then have crazy unarmed damage when you are in giant form later.

Ok so i rolled some godly stats and it seems like a shame to waste them on a one sided class like a wizard or barbarian. the stats are 18, 16, 16, 15, 13, 11 this happened naturally and im stoked. im thinking monk would make a good use of them if i could mill out a good progression but i kindof hate monks. also i know paladin would be crazy good but we already have one. let me know of any good builds you guys made including prestige classes or multiclassing.

Hi guys,
i really hope this was covered in another threat and someone figured someething out. ive been scouring the rules and cant find anything for it but.
Multiple limb fighting plus bows. HOW? WHAT RULES?

im talking specifically about an eidelon with say 3 sets of limbs using long bows to attack then going into the multishot/rapid shot chains. if anyone knows anything about it please let me know.

NOT! the same in pathfinder. the main difference being that it wears off making the maintenance of an unded army impossibly for anyone. there is no possible way for a necromancer to control a vast undead army even through the usage of generals and what not. even if your the BBG the DM has to fudge the rules a little or have a bunch of well places mindless goons running around and routed. i dislike this and would like tosee a greater command undead with duration: permanent

Hi guys and gals,
Im going to be playing a "crusader Style game" which essentially means mount friendly, this invites alot of characters tomake massive one trick pony charge monkeys. so what i want to do as a build is make an optimized bullrush build and i know there are a few options. i would like to optimize and was wondering if anyone else has thought up a good bullrush specialized character. i know there is polearm master for the weapon bullrush and i looked into hungry ghost monk but i have to be able torelyably push them atleast 10 feet for "re-charging". i hope this post wasnt too confusing...

You can use a large one handed weapon in two hands at a -2 penalty due to the size.

As for Monkey Grip, it isn't gone. Many games may limit pre-Pathfinder 3.5 material, but Pathfinder is built on a heavily modified 3.5 OGL.

yea the -2 to hit isnt worth the 1 average damage im looking at, and as for the other thing im in a game that is pathfinder paizo published only due to the insane power creep in 3.5

thats actually a really good idea

Hey i know they got rid of monkey grip which im sad about cuz it wasn't even that good but was fun.but i was wondering if they did away with using a large one handed weapon in two hands?

F%@% Mithril Shirt im rockin a rat in stone plate...

agree, or will in some cases. this lets you do things like tie up the rogue then cast fireball to give him a s@*#ty save with no evasion. agree

and you better give me some gold...

I basically just subbed out my gnome illusions for the fools gold spell, but you can help me carry the old ball and chain.

i believe /some/ objects should get saves like that really important document but if you a dm rolling to see how the landscape is affected then your a crappy dm with no creativity also the "being in a part of the fireball thats less hot" isn't reflex save its damage dealt

how do you make that fancy gray box

Doubtful, most fey arent playable. Plus legend had it that a leprechaun would grant you a wish if you caught it, plus your starting gold would be ridiculous with that giant cauldron of gold... provided you ever got to the end of your rainbow that is.

Yea but you cant have any, so i basically just have this big pot im dragging around, and that whole wish thing is a lie we tell children

Tai chi masters Yogis, crime scene investigators and snipers/special forces people

OH... yea sorry. i feel a little dumb but se la vi

Dear Paizo,
This is you're server, i would like you to add the following words to the spell checker, the word paizo included. Mithral, Adamantine, anything in the beastiary, beastiary, gish and so many more. i'm a terrible speller and i rely on that red wavy line to tell me if im an idiot or not and i really dont know if beastiary is a word or not.

So im wondering if i can put barding on my little critter. i know he would need to be proficient with the armor unless he gets armor prof (which i dont think he ever can). but in general if i give it a mithral chain shirt would that just ... work?

for the purposes of the thread though what do you think about the spell failure chance on familiars?

Im not sure if this is mentioned already but the way we do it in some games is that everything in the world starts at a basis of true nuetral then becomes a certain alignment based on what it is. meaning you only really have that alignment if you have the descriptor or aura. even that "evil king" is just a selfish guy with his own reasoning. probably overall neutral. i think it adds a more realistic and human approach to alignment and makes it more of a trait.

This is a bit radical but in my opinion Pathfinder Goblins (god bless you little a&*!%+$s) are gremlins. also leprechauns should be a playable race. if definitely played a gnome and said i was a leprechaun

oljuks(or whoever but pathfinder doesnt use names) freezing sphere could do it, also in one of the cold books (why are they all game breaking) it has rules that cold damage to water freezes it (i might be making that up. but freezing sphere will do it...sorta. also water freezes naturally on top so if you cast on of those make stuff cold spells it would do that

R.I.P. Spiked Chain. Also in referance to something in the begining about elvin thin blade. i think "Orc Shotput had a crazy threat range of something like 18-20x3

Ok, first off cfalcon is totally right on all accounts and all the people (if there are any i only really read the first half of the thread cuz i got bored.) that are advocating the 15-20 weapons as opposed to the 17-20 x3, first off his multiplying math is spot on and second a 19-20x2<x3 because you might not hit on a 19 there for no crit. i know this is extream but it matters for all you 15-20 falchion monsters

Im not sure if this is in path finder but, unless im wrong in the wording of either one. monkey grip (feat((not in pathfinder))) and balanced the magic item property have it. im not sure if these options still exist. right now in my campain we only play with paizo products cuz 3.5 power creap was retarded. see: frost burn

Definitely and here's why. One reason being its a non typed bonus and things which are non-typed which do not also say otherwise, do in fact stack. Also, as a balance issue this is not a game breaking thing, sure you can make you saves versus different energy types pretty damn high (and with the Admixture Sub-school, for quite a few spells), butnot only are you burning 4 feats but your also not going to be adding this to anything with a save tht will change the game much, sure they dont pass the DC of your fireball but all in all dsave for half it didnt matter if they passed anyway, you still did ok damage. if this was added to say all illusion or enchantment spells or necromancy for that matter it would be a problem because failing those saves can change the game. In Short, its not gamebreaking and by the rules it should work.
