Init Seeing the distance between himself and the enemy and knowing the difficulty imposed by the snow, Astinos quickly drinks a potion, the Nectar of Helen, feeling the beauty and charisma of legend filling his body. Standing radiant, like a statue of gold, he calls upon one of his gifts from the Goddess of War. The Challenge.
Astinos feels the power of his Gods flow throught him and an eerie calm settles upon the golden warrior. He sees the Jewel and notes LLvenoc diving to the rescue, sees the horror pointed out by the larger angel, an abomination whose very existence is a corruption of reality. " Focus!! It matters not what dark, vile creatures rise against us, we will prevail! The very Gods fight alongside us!" He strides across the platform with ease, his large frame taking up Kemnebi's field of vision in an attempt to break the trance.
Feeling the blessing of the Gods upon him Astinos is eerily calm in the midst of the chaos.
As the vile creature vanishes in an eruption of negative energy, Astinos lets out a rallying cry, ignoring the tainted energy that washes over him and laying about him at the vampires near him. Attack 1

Glancing past the immediate threats Astinos takes in the oncoming hordes responding to his challenge. He strikes out at the attacking ghoul, spear an impliment of true death. Attack 1

A grim smile crosses his face as he braces himself for those that would seek to take his life.
With a roar of exhultation Astinos stands beside Kosan, his spear dancing forward to plunge into the vamipire facing him. 1st

"Fine. Undead it is" Astinos stands like a demigod of battle himself spear outstretched toward the enemy.
As his words ring throughout the cavern he charges forward, spear and shield prepared to meet the host of undead with divine might.
Astinos stands perfectly still for a second, but as the wave of crushing darkness washes over him his eyes shift to the goddess, glorious and beautiful even at her most vulnerable and his aura seems to pulse, expanding to fill the entire area, his person actually glowing as he takes hold of the divive wrath of his battle fury. "They all need to be disrupted, Nebebit the undead are yours, the demons are mine, we fight until she'd free or until we fall!"
Quick question, do all previous long term bonuses stand? Do I still have the temorary levels and bonuses active in addition to the level I just gained?

Astinos barely registers the cut retaliating wth an enthusiastic battlefield fury that matches Kosan's in intensity.
Standing just outside of the grease trap, spear planted, Astinos hurls a trio of javelins at one of the abominations still moving.
With perfect timing, Astinos raises his shield at the last moment, protecting him from the dazzling effect.

With a bellowing battlecry Astinos charges forward, his spear impaling one of the downed abominations.
Astinos reaches into his belt pouch drawing a vial of amber liquid, which he quickly downs, his skin taking on a cast like polished wood. He sets spear and shield preparing for the charge that is only seconds away.
Astinos tilts his head slightly, studying his surrounding.
"WE MOVE. NOW!" Astinos' voice takes on a tone designed to carry over the din of a battlefieldas he breaks into a trot that begins to build into a run.
Astinos stops for a moment striding over to Fox and the boy, he goes down into a crouch sitting back on his heels, his hand suppoted by the brilliant spear that seems to pulse occasionally. "Aahz, you've been through a lot, and I cannot even begin to understand what it is like to have the power and responsibility you carry. But none of us are given more than we can bear. We need you to stand with us as we try to do this. We need you to help us save the world." he stands, looking the child in the eye, an armored gauntlet extended, "Can we count on you as we do each other?"
Astinos stands cleansed, the light seeming to radiate off of him, a pulsing glow of sheer Divine and martial power. He strides to the front, eyes scanning before him a bastion of focus. He cannot help but smile however at Kosan's commentary on the party.

I step forward and kneel, head bowed. "I would recieve the boon of cleansing."

Astinos strides forth, his aura radiating around him. His tale is one of purpose, of the work entrusted to the group to defend against that which would seek to consume all life.
Astinos nods silently, following the others'footsteps to the point of entry though unable th see the egress.
Astinos stands a bit apart from the priest, the only thing in the room, taller and more impressive. He chafes a bit at the idea of collaborating with an evil preist but cannot argue the strategy of the cleric's suggestion. Hearing Kosan's grumbling in the mindlink he cannot help but smile as he feels the warrior pick up the young deity. It is not that we have forgotten him Kosan, simply that you are the best chioce to be his protector.
Astinos drives a fist through the door, his expansion coming as a suprise to himself as well. He shudders briefly as a wave of chaos washes over him then guides the others through the newly made opening. The sound coming from Decidio quickens the pace of his breathing, but he focuses, a small part of his mind touching hers as the group advances.
At the door Astinos pauses shifting his spear to his other hand he reaches down to the pouch on his belt his fingers counting the potion slots and selecting 2 of them. He pops the wax seals quickly drinking both as his body begins to thrum with power, pulsing and expanding until he stands 9ft tall his weapons and armor growing with him.
He prepares to charge as Llvenoc pushes instead.
In mindlink "Go! Something big approaching behind us. A guard on either side of the door, they seem dazed but be ready to strike." Astinos strides through shield and spear up.
"I feel it as well, behind us something of almost unimaginable evil has erupted from the ground. We need to keep moving" DM[SPOILER]
Astions almost stumble at the wave of almost infinte evil that washes over his senses. His auras of good and courage providing ssome defense to the group as they charge blinly forward. He sends his thoughts out to Decidio. I will find you again, or you me, once we are successful there is much for us to explore in mindlink
"Everyone with me, we move now!" Astinos breaks into a steady jog,his mind and body focused, sensing everything around him. "Eyes closed!"
I pause for a moment, and as Llvenoc shifts I focus on him. "It is complete, but in some ways I have been gifted with a form of sight that allows even more. I will be fine near the front Llvenoc, but I appreciate the regard."
