Ashlyn moves up to be in front of the group and out of the cloud. She fires on the hag but misses.

"You said you need to destroy this stone right? I have some c4 I was going to use to blast my way into the castle. We could use it on this stone istead or we could go after her."
"we could use a distraction boys, keep those ogres busy." says ashlyn Shortly after some flares are fired from somewhere to the south of the tower. "That should get those ogres going that way." "Lets see whats in the tower."
"Glad I could help. I have my men going around scouting out this ruin." Her radio buzzes and you hear a man. "Looks like two more ogres are patrolling the area outside. They heard the gunfire and are heading that way, but are moving slow, they will be there in a few minutes. We also spotted what looked like a giant old woman inside the tower."
Another gunshot resounds as Ashlyn arrives on the scene to help and unfortunately misses.
"We buried our dead and we moved on heading east towards the castle. We see a stone tower up ahead is that the Fane you were talking about? Need help taking that out?"
The radio crackles "We're clear for now. We fought the creature chasing us and we lost two men but we wounded him badly enough that he retreated for now."
"Come with you? I'm afraid I cant not yet at least. I need to coordinate with the teams and with the limited range that involves a lot of moving around. I will give you this thought." she gives you a radio. "Right now I'm going into the mountains to check on the team that going to the castle." she says. If you whitin range of one of my teams you can use this to communicate with them and if you need help you can try to call.

"Strange that sounds like the kind of magic elves use, when vampire use magic its usually more along the lines of summoning more undead. Still this is worth looking into"

We can help each other here, I will have my people hold off on attacking the wolves for now and we will attack only as a last resort to stop those folk from changing...I'm willing to work with you if your willing to work with us."
"Let you handle it? You need to remember that were the professionals and you're the amateurs here. Those werewolves are the ones that have caused the most damage so far; They have killed over a dozen folk including at least 4 hunters like yourselves and they kidnapped like twenty people and you want to join forces with them to fight a vampire? I already sent another team to the castle to deal with it and another to deal with a ghoul infestation in the graveyard next to the church. I just wanted to see if you had any useful intel."
The woman lets out a sigh "No need to be discreet, the staff is gone and my people are watching the area...Now I don't know exactly what you're up too but you went right into werewolf territory and out again several times without a fight and you were seen with the one we suspect is their leader...So I decide I should at least talk to you before my people moved in to exterminate the pack." |
