Yeah I was also not thrilled to see my third catalog in my subscription package.

Possible oversight:
Powerful Alchemy alchemist feature raises the DC of the item to the alchemist's Class DC, but not the level. This means the Incapacitation from poisons like Lethargy Poison will still apply, even if the Alchemist is higher level than the creature making the save.

Damn, no more extra downtime for ridiculously gold efficient crafting for my characters :`)

Oh well haha. It was pretty busted as is

I do wonder if we'll get a list of sanctification rules for all deities as a kind of placeholder resource between now and reprinting of those deities.

If my username wasn't any indication, the deity Arshea was and is a big shining light in my life and I was so happy to meet them in the pages of Paizo's books -- so much so that I partially derived my new legal name from theirs. Thank you to all the authors creating queer representation within the Golarion universe!

Haven't played video games in a while, Can someone explain to me what this phrase means: "a roguelite bullet hell survivor game"?

There's a small indie game that was hugely successful called vampire survivors. That's what this new genre is based on.

Well that sure is a spicy take.

Yeah as said, the AV arpg I can understand still, this one feels like "Why vampire survivor inspired game though?" Like yeah would be easier to buy in starfinder bullet hell game than pf :'D

My guess is that survivor games are a relatively low-cost genre to develop for. CRPGs and ARPGs seem, from my armchair software-engineer-but-not-a-video-game-developer position, a lot more complicated to develop than a survivor-like.

For a system touted as "the math is really solid and balanced", nobody seems to be eager to do a straight adaptation of Pathfinder 2e.

The funny thing about this is I feel like this was a missed opportunity for a Starfinder run-and-gun style game, where the gameplay might support the theme instead of....whatever this is.

Yeeeeeeah. Not to rag on it but I am very interested in seeing if we get a PF2e CRPG at some point. Im gonna cross my fingers that it's being made.

Definitely gonna play the other game being made, survivor games aren't my thing but I hope others enjoy it!

Addendum: I don't want to suggest that branching out into the video game side of the pathfinder universe is unwelcome. I think there's more to do with the PF/SF settings than just CRPGs. There's fertile ground here for expansion.

Thanks for an awesome PaizoCon Online! I had a great 10 games this year and loved that I was but one of many Foundry VTT GMs this year, rather than one of two :D Looking forward to the next one y'all <3

Possibly monumentally silly suggestion ahead, but I've noticed that the very busy GMs have simply mountains of ACP to spend. I have a "small" suggestion to help people use this resource they've been gaining by contributing so much of their time and energy to keeping organized play sessions happening. Hold onto your butts:

Free Archetype *Slots* purchasable with ACP
- For some ACP, you can purchase a level 2 archetype slot for a single character.
- For some MORE ACP, you can purchase a level 4 archetype slot for a single character.
- Etc.

I love the Free Archetype ruleset, very much wish it was part of the core rules, but alas, it isn't. I also know that just opening the floodgates and saying "okay everyone has Free Archetypes now" both likely won't happen and would probably unbalance the carefully tuned challenge point system in favor of the players. Opening up Free Archetype slowly to the GMs and the most dedicated players could incentivize more people to GM their own games.

Just a little something that popped into my head during Paizocon that I wanted to get in front of eyeballs.
