Armanus still stunned by the gesture of fellowship from an elf, a member of a people known for their detachment. The tiefling takes the scroll and holds it close to his heart.
"Be safe, Swiftfoot." Armanus thought it strange to wish good intention on a halfling, considering his family history.
"That was a horrendous adventure". Armanus confesses. "Mother was right. I've got 'the adventure' out of my system, and now all I want is to be pampered back at home in Cheliax. It was..an experience meeting all of you. Good bye."
"Indeed, Aakif. Well done." Armanus grinned roguishly.
Hi all. I was dumb and split Gatorade on my laptop. It's in for repairs until next week. So I won't be able to effectively post until then. Sorry.
Armanus gropes to find his fellow invisible prisoner and make their way off the ship.
"Calm down, everyone," Armanus said with an air of superiority. "This is why I'm here." The tiefling casts his last invisibility spell on prisoner, then snatches his hand. "We are all leaving now. No talking. Step lightly."
The invisible tiefling attempts to quietly lift the bar off the door.
"Be quiet and don't be scared! We are invisible and we're here to get you off this ship." An voice from just outside the barred door said.
"Indeed", Armanus whispers, as he leads the halfling out of the dimensional space.
As Elsa and Armanus are studying the door, they see a man walking down the stone hallway. A blast of cold air hits them as the door opens, a tall Osiriani man walking across the deck, leaving the door open as he goes. Just for clarification, the door leading through the stone hall is open. We don't need to 'break it down' to go down it?
"I think it's either an illusion or possible some powerful conjuration magic", Armanus supposes.
"Yes it is." The tiefling begins the cantrip detect magic on the door and beyond.
"Forty minutes." Whispered Armanus. "Let's search this room for a key."
Armanus wants to examine the lock to see if it could be easily broken by force or by spell.
Armanus follows his fellow invisible invader as best he can.
At the appointed time, Armanus stands before Elsa. "Please stand still and hold out your hand in hopes that I can find it when I also turn invisible, unless you have a better way of staying invisible together."
"If Elsa does indeed have expertise in stealth, I'll let her come along and we'll both go", counters Armanus.
"I can. Yet only three more times today", the tiefling explained. "Which means if I can get our prisoner free, I can cast invisibility on that individual as well."
Armanus sighs. "Well, I can be invisible for 40 minutes at a time. Shouldn't we wait for the cover of night for this rescue mission?"
Armanus does his best to return undetected.
Armanus tries to course-correct and get away from the guards that noticed him.
Armanus sighed. "That I can accomplish. I can become invisible. Hopefully, I can maintain the nondetection."
Not for me.
"Your logic is sound, Aakif," Armanus nodded to the cleric's argument.
Hi Everyone, Tomorrow I'm having a catheterization on my left side tomorrow, so I won't be on the boards that day. But I hope to be back on during the weekend. Thanks all.
"Very well."
Armanus follows Elsa's train of thought: no need to waste expensive ammo if it's not needed. The tiefling still holds his aim on the spider-thing.
Armanus levels his gun at the still spider-woman and fires.
The tiefling reloads both barrels of his gun.
Armanus follows the halfling, cursing in Infernal.
Infernal: "Fu<king HELL!!!"
Armanus follows the others in.
Armanus steps around Elsa for a better shot.

The sorcerer loads his gun, not willing to use his last magic missile just yet.
As the spider-monk leaps, Armanus's infernal reflexes allows him to shoot off two magic missiles into the aggressor's chest.
"I will see to the door", Armanus interrupts as he casts detect magic on the door.
"Finally. So simplication", Armanus sighed in relief.
Armanus snaps out of his daydream. "OH! Terribly sorry, Aakif."
"It seems not all members of our company are aligned. The question of the value of life is different for all individuals." Aakif says as he leads the group to the Unixites. "Just being pragmatic", Armanus spoke with a simple, yet unnerving smile. "A quality I'm sure The Master of the First Vault would approve."
"I wish we cold have killed them when we had the chance", grumbles a tired Armanus.
Aramnus has no scruples about murdering everyone in the monastery, but negotiations work, fine by him. Perhaps this is a moment that might hint of the tiefling's real religious leanings.
"Yes. Yes. Let us leave!" Armanus said, motioning his fellow adventurers to come to the same conclusion.
"We have an accord", Armanus stated at the undead master. "How are east 'as the imp flies' is this monastery?"
The tiefling turns to the others behind him, waiting for consensus.
"So long as your favor does not lead to OUR deaths", Armanus deflected. "Keep your mysteries. We have a job to do."
