I don't actually have a list of Aravashnial's questions. He is just being overly annoying and somewhat rude (as the terms he uses aren't very flattering). Mostly historical questions.
Aleziella's admonishment gets through to Aravashnial and he seems to recognize his faux pas.
"Ah, pardon me, I was just very excited by this discovery. I will wait until later."
Aravashnial cannot contain himself. He begins to barrage the mongrelmen with questions.

Damn, should have saved those rolls for attacks :)
Most of you can sense the mongrelmen beginning to get irritated by him.
"Guide me to the wounded one, quickly!" He replies as he sticks out a wand.
Argus places Aravashnial's hand on Kel and Aravashnial uses his wand.
1d10 ⇒ 9
Kel, gain 9 temporary hit points. I had you at -2, so you are back to positive 7.
"No, they were members of the First Crusade. They were warped by the abyssal energies and also produced malformed children. Legends say the withdrew to these tunnels and still live here."
"Can you describe the statues to me?"
He listens intently as you describe the statues.
"There is an old legend that after the First Crusade a group of crusaders who had become infected with Abyssal energies fled into these caverns to raise their deformed children in peace, and that their descendants live on today in the tunnels below the city. The presence of these statues here gives significant credence to that tale."
Aravashnial heeds Argus's warning and goes prone as well.
"It's hard to say for certain. If they maintained any type of continuity with the past, I would expect them to be more of allies than enemies."
Now that the fight is done, Aravashnial speaks up.
"These statues, there is an old legend that after the First Crusade a group of crusaders who had become infected with Abyssal energies fled into these caverns to raise their deformed children in peace, and that their descendants live on today in the tunnels below the city. The presence of these statues here gives significant credence to that tale."
Aravashnial perks up at mention of the statues.
"Can you describe them to me?"
He listens intently as you describe the statues.

"Horgus, please restrain yourself. These people are helping us, they do not deserve your tone."
From Argus: 2 x alchemist fires and 3 x smokesticks
From Avarashnial: 1 x cure light wounds and 2 x cure moderate wounds
The scrolls are as follows:
dispel magic
grease x2

"I can also use my spells to aid you, but once I use them they are gone for good as I will be unable to study my spellbook until my sight is restored."
He then confers with your arcane caster (let me know who that will be) and you learn his prepped spells.
3rd—heroism, magic circle against evil, summon monster III
2nd—acid arrow, levitate, resist energy, summon monster II
1st—mage armor, shield, sleep, summon monster I,
true strike
0 (at will)—acid splash, arcane mark, detect magic, flare
Yes, what Argus says makes sense. He can act as my eyes for now. I have some supplies that may be useful as well. If you have someone who is adept at arcane magic, I have some scrolls than can use. Unfortunately, in my current state, they are useless to me."
The Elf's demeanor changes noticeably.
"Ah, yes, I will need a guide. My name is Avarashnial. That is a sound course of action. I can aid somewhat with my spells."
1d20 ⇒ 16 Excellent, you got a high enough Diplomacy to beat the DC by over 5, so you improve him two steps :)
Davin's approach seems to be the exact thing needed. The Elf turns in his direction and smiles slightly.
"My pardon, I am just frustrated by my condition. Yes, I have much experience here, but perhaps I should concede to my condition and defer leadership to one of you. I will of course offer all of my resources for your disposal. I am Avarashnial. The gentleman that spoke earlier is Horgus Gwerm, a benefactor of the city."
He turns about trying to sense the presence of others.
"Horgus! Help these people with whatever information you can, please."
"Ah, a Taurian, very good. We will definitely need your strength. You should lead as you can see better as well. What other warriors do we have?" Aravashnial says. Again he sounds used to being in charge.
Davin, you also still sense what I told you before about him.
"Who are our frontline warriors? Come here I can give you some aid."He pulls out a wand and holds out his hand.
" I have three healing potions, one minor and two of slightly higher potency. As to the scrolls, are any of you adept with arcane magic?"
"My thanks stranger. I must confess, this condition grates on me in no small way. I will help as much as possible." His demeanor softens greatly at your words.
"Argus, I heard your voice out there and you as well Horgus, these people seem capable and we should defer to their judgement to get us out, especially as we are in no shape to gainsay any of their decisions. Also, whatever resources you have on you please make them available. As for me, I have several potions as well as some spells ready. I also have these four scrolls which obviously are of no use to me now."
"A minotaur? Is he a threat? He sounded reasonable."
You can almost feel the frustration of the elf as he gropes around blindly, barely conscious.
At the sound of others working on the rock, the old man, who you now realize is an elf, calls out in demanding and authoritative tone.
"Who is there? What are your names? We must organize and get back up to Kenabres! Tell me, of those of you here, what sort of experience do you have fighting demons?"
