"Peace friends tha sermon will reveal a little, an all questions ken not be answered in a single sermon, an listenin does not mean not learning o other paths an findin yer own, I myself ave much tah learn."

He looks to Vitilano
"Aye tha paths err many, an tha one tha speaks tah mah soul is tha road o heaven, yers may be another an I support yer search."

He nods to Lorenzo....

then to Ranerius
"If I had tha answer tah tha question I would be at a great peace an ave mastered tha beast an mah own folly o wrath an pride."

"Tha hour has come, tha message is ready fer tha glad hearts tah hear more o tha road o heaven...come all who might seek tha road".

"Tis naught a just err truth filled comparison yer usin I hear tha words, but disagree on tha entirety o tha sentiment. Perhaps I will listen to your Sire's speech. Is he ready?"

"Nearly so, it would seem....I know of mortal souls bound in tha servitude, how ken tha souls be freed from such a fate?"

Andrew looks at her expecting to see the wraiths upon her person or perhaps in the depths of her eyes......

"Wrath can bring mah sword from its place an wrath ken swing tha blade through tha air, but only faith ken combat darkness, all tha rage tha ever was ken not make tha blade dispel tha black tendrils, it is tha faith an God tha makes it possible. I intend to vote as the elder or as Brian directs, do you see any problem with that?

Narses Court a Private Room - Andrew & Brian

Andrew laughs as well

"How long then ave yah been at werk on tha Prince?".

"Will we consult our elder on who we support fer positions in tha council, if not I will vote as you are."

Andrew falls silent feeling recrimination on not praying hard enough to remove his wrath from himself.... But as Brian has said some of the clan are called to be warriors....

"I will seek God's will."

Narses Court a Private Room - Andrew & Brian

"Aye then a clear message concernin tha feasts o blood, is a fine ting, tis true tha images may stir mightily within tha bosom o tha stilled hearts, tha hope is one among many, tha tremere seems trapped in deceptions an struggles o their own devising, wha hope do we ave fer tha many clans?

Tha known world must ave many cities an many princes, how ken one claim dominion ov'r all tha others

Tha wrath is as undeiable as tha hunger, it sits still an waits, I know tha wrath is resevered fer God alone an I pray unceasingly fer control o it, but yet it still comes...."

"So it would seem, I had thought tha seat o power was set fer jus tha country, was only later on i realized tha discussion is o a world wide empire, like tha Romans, so tha dramatic imagery is werkin gainst tha goal.

"Aye tis much to say many a tings ave happened, tha Tremere plot against each other an tha elder seems pleased to ave set tha course o both. Tis a difficult life o intrigue they live, an one I fear will carry into tha council."

"Tha elder leads as should be, an elder o tha path one is on, tha path o heaven is open tah all, I had not intended fer tha changes fer tha council tah be only fer tha path o heaven, a fitting set o images fer a hall err such but not tha full council."

"Tha fledglin council seems on tha verge o collapse, wit certain understandins o tha traditions, being variations, an again some powers o tha prince forfeit to tha council, obstacles it would seem."

"Yer deliverin a sermon this night..I ave much to learn myself, my struggle is wrath, though it seems common to tah warrior o Sablubri......"

Andrew seems to have stopped speaking and began praying for the long hard nights to come.

Still trying to lay low at the moment and hopefully later to get a full briefing on the current nature of the Salubri leadership.....

They don't actually go in they just spend eternity staring at the gates.....

Brian wrote:
"Remind me later and I shall regale you with the tales of both Alejandro Prince in Exile of Jerusalem and Alexander the Deposed Prince of Paris".

"Aye."

Once it becomes clear that the elder of the Tremere is playing the two against each other for a position, Andrew feels that they are indeed fully embroiled in intrigue....most often of their own devising....

Andrew nods his head as he comprehends the situation likely each of them asked the elder and each was granted permission and neither was told of the other's status, a lie of omission.....

Andrew crosses himself thankful to not be in the dark embrace of such....

Narses Court - Salubri Table

"Ah tha first moments o tension much like tha history o sovereigns an tha church. Tha hast shifted an changed o time."

Then another thought hits Andrew....

"How is a prince made err unmade? Former princes still gather."

Venice by Night – Tuesday March 25, 1309

Narses Court - Salubri Table

Andrew turns to Brian....
"Am I understandin tha Prince is seekin tah rules not jus here but tha world o'er?"

Andrew had reasoned many princes existed the world over, to declare one over all the others seemed an open declaration of war upon other sovereigns.....

"Is any other prince o any other land here?"

Venice by Night – Tuesday March 25, 1309

Andrew nods to the Prince....
"We recognize tha value o a good steward in leadin us all."

Brian turns to Andrew, "Lord Andrew, I tend to side with Lord Benne here considering the Brujah's reasoning. Your thoughts?"

Andrew decides to dress it up a little for the sake of those gathered...

"My liege if tha prince did grant leave fer those who were eldest tah embrace a childe fer tha purpose o tha council then it would seem more tha one thought hisself tha one an two did so; it would seem tha error was in tha instruction, not those in obedience."

Andrew remains seated and looks thoughtful....

"How is it no other Salubri are here in tha same position?"

Andrew considers again the ghosts of the night can they and the veiled share a space each unaware of the other. Perhaps his original plan held some merit.

Andrew approachs Mistress Fanchon of Tremere.
"It seems I ave started tah see enemies about mah person when no harm was intended. I am Andrew o tha Salubri, I had meant tah speak to all in attendance. "

Andrew offers a slight bow as his leg will not allow for any depth in the maneuver...

I always thought the Ravnos were a much better target for the Tremere than the Salubri.

In fact in my way of thinking the decision from Tremere likely had several potentials on the list and as opportunists they took the first opportunity. A wide range of factors may have caused the change, I like to think that Storyteller Shadow will let us discover the reasons as we go.

But since technically none of us even know that or that it was an alternative.....
