I know Luca can meld into the earth, but he doesn't know he can do that right?
You have a sense of what you can do but it will be disorienting the first time you use it as it will likely be a reaction to stimulus and not a conscious decision to use it, unless your Sire says something about it which he has not, at least not yet.

If I am not mistaken, that is what is happening to the mortals in this city now. Strife and chaos. When Rome or Carthage or any city rises, it is because wise men of like minds decide what to do and follow that vision whether for good or for ill of the weak".

Fifty years pass and then one hundred and then two and it is so, so easy to lose grip on any thing that makes the next day matter. What I have come to see is that each day is its own and what great enjoyments can be had should be. That while each is had they should be had better then any other. I could have died a thousand ways. Should I have let myself be ruled by fear? What a foolish way to be. Let there be our life and now unlife and let us be kings of it.

"Forgive me, I apologize if I'm one in a long line of visitors in these past few days, I imagine it can be taxing." he said as he looked around for a place to sit.
Upon finding himself something comfortable he took a seat "I'm sure you probably know this a request of some kind more than just a visit. Though I assure you, I would visit. Very few people from the eastern world to talk to and few who share the language even. But I digress, I wanted to pass along a message to your grand sire if you could. I found his message amongst the paintings, I must say it was quite illuminating to take a walk into his mind and see how he felt about the clans and their roles in society. I must say, it was a rather bold move to offer such insight so freely." he said as he sat there and looked across at Xing. He was curious what she would say or if she would even pass along the message, after all they had only had a brief couple of meetings though they had seemed pleasant.

Perhaps I was guilty of overreaching, of megalomania if you will. I slipped but for an instant and my enemies took that instant to band together and overwhelm me. Thus my exile from my own city began.
I am sure you met many in the Salons of Paris who were behind my demise though you would have heard little of it based on your position at the time. Their day of reckoning will come, do not doubt that.
I did not allow it to break me. Instead I wandered looking for a friendly Court. Indeed, I almost was slain in a Godsforsaken forest but I was given another chance and I took it! The room is dark but you feel the presence of another here. Your heart begins to... no wait. You feel nothing absolutely nothing no bodily reaction anyway to this presence you sense.
A voice speaks, it is one you recognize, it is El Cid, "Greetings Durdona Checheg. Welcome to the Long Night. I have brought you home. To move forward, you must look backwards and sever the ties that bind you. Can you do that? Are you willing to sever the ties that bind you to life?"

Alejandro replies, "I shall bring our group to whatever destination Xing describes to me".
Sadir raises his eyebrows, "You can do that?"
Alejandro replies, "Yes". Offering no further explanation.
At that moment a bell begins to ring softly from the other room.

Perhaps not so much over reaching as you think Alexander. Enemies plot regardless of our greatness or faults. Sometimes at a place and time their position is simply... better. You are here and ready and perhaps soon your position will be better then the enemy. Yoy have nothing but time to plan and wait to seize the day it is and remind them that just because the day is better does not mean you might take you for granted nor wise to let that enemy survive the attempt.
