God... I'm crying... ;-; I dont relate to this or anything, i dont have any lost culture, but this whole thing with the "dead-people"... that hits me hard ;-; that hurts

The text in page 86 seems to reference abilities that the monster in that page doesn't actually have

I see, thank you you two, this was very helpful!!

Pithica Spheres of Power is a 3pp system for Pathfinder that can be used alongside or (preferably) instead of vancian magic. It's a sort of build-your-own-spell sort of thing. Im just giving some context, no need to look at it if you dont want to. This has been help enough, thank you!!

Yeah, it is for PCs.

Ye, I see what you mean about ER.

Regarding spellcasters, I was thinking of converting the Spheres of Power system to SF. Making such a conversion is part of the reason Im asking this in the first place. Since Drop Dead Studios are likely to convert the system anyway in the future, maybe I shouldnt bother... but I want to be able to play soon.

And whta do you mean by ability boosts?

When converting stuff from Pathfinder to Starfinder, I know I should avoid bonuses to AC and to attack rolls, but this isnt all is it? Are there any other things to which I should avoid giving bonuses to?

I suppose, but there's so many iconic tricks that cant be done normally :/ I guess any changes to ki blast shape are done through esoteries, which is a shame. Those are far from exhaustive. Something like the Mutable Blast talent would be nice. But anyway, ye, i can understand the restriction. Ki blasts are simply better than regular destructive blasts.

Why is it Sages can modify their Ki blasts by (blast type) talents, but not (blast shape) talents? That seems like a real shame, and such an obvious thing, it's prolly not allowed due to balance reasons, right? I'm asking just to be sure, because unless someone points out to me why that'd be a bad idea, i'd allow people to use (blast shape) talents with Ki blasts.

1) I'd assume beast shape would change you into an animal. Or are you still treated as your normal type? If that's the case I can reword it.

2) That's fair. Perhaps I should've explained my intentions from the beggining. Mostly, the "Self Summoning" thing has to do with the feat Versatile Summon Nature's Ally, from Monster Summoner's Handbook, which would allow you to give yourself some neat templates such as fiery, aqueous or primordial. Although clerics don't have Summon Nature's Ally spells in their spell list, there is a feat that grants them the druid's spontaneous summon nature's ally, which is why i didn't put any of those spells as domain spells. Really you could say this is the "Animal Druid" domain. It gives you access to wild shape in the form of Beast Shape spells and gives you an animal companion. Although even druids can benefit from it since thye could then do stuff like apply the bonuses from Augment Summoning to their wild shape.

EDIT: Reworded it to work with any transmutation spells with Animal or Beast in their names instead of spells that change type.

Ok so. I'm working on my own homebrew setting, and some things to go with it like homebrew monsters and perhaps even homebrew races. But right now, I'm working on domains. While I will make new domains, right now I'm focusing myself on changing existing domains instead. Why?

Two things bother me with domains. The first one is obviously the power imbalance. I haven't started working on it yet, but I will make the Healing Domain useful if it's the last thing I do, ghat dangit!!

Second one is impact. Or you could say, power. But I say impact because the point is, I feel like domains don't have the amount of "oomph!" they should have. They should make more of a difference than they do. As it is, domains are a minor class feature that clerics and a few other classes have access to, but I feel like it shouldn't be just a minor feature. Should be something major and important, to make the choice of domain matter more and to make clerics with different domains more different from one another. Therefore, more power.

So, HERE

Right now, I have only made my setting's equivalent to the animal domain, and would like opinions and criticism on it.
