The Warrior

The wielder of spears
stands tall and so strong,
he'll not back down
from challenge or trial.
By honor he lives
unshakable his will,

to Valhalla he rides.

to prove his worth,
not for gods or men

against the wind

The shield tree fights
for honor and scars,
to hone his skill
and keep his way.
The life he leads
is not in vain,
he keeps the sheep safe
from the wolves who hate.

The sword god has
few friends who know,
why he must go
to the wanderer's hall.
His helmet held high
to those who scorn,
his path he keeps
that few can see.

His sword is ready
for the fight that comes,
till he sees the Valkyries
on the sea of spears.
The days of heroes
long since passed,
the day will come
when they ride once more.

The trees of mail
wait for the day,
to gain glory and die
and bards sing their name.
Swords they keep sharp
for the dance of the blade,
that they pray will come
and bring honor again.

Few can see
the worth of such men,
they are blinded by words
from silk armored dogs.
The pen is strong
as it is said,
but soon they will see
it's not much to the dead.

They praise their brain
but have lost true sense,
they no longer see
but fire of the arm.
They labor for self
and see not their kin,
their family grows weak
angry towards them.

The followers of Odin
can see with clear eyes,
they will rise up
to put it back right.
Though many will find
their place in his hall,
when warriors unite
the corrupt will fall.

The ravens will feast
on the dance floor of fire,
the feeder of wolves
will rise all the higher.
A hero is he
who fights for just cause,
rise up he shall
to march out and fall.

for all of time
their songs will they sing.
Valhalla their prize

So with that start of the War of Towers about a week into EE, it is more and more imperative that we get a significant military group/CC setup and running. With the Corp being the primary defenders of Callambea, it will be up to us to defend the towers that will power our crafters. Sure our Hounds will be rushing to the fray more often than not, but it is our hardened soldiers that will provide the immovable foundation assuring that our fortifications remain steadfast.

So who out there is looking to be a member of the Corp? Who wants to be a soldier in the Military of Callambea, and be a Knight of our great city? Who is willing to defend Callambea and its interest in the wide world of the River Kingdoms? Do not wait for tommorrow for the sharpened steel we offer today. And it has been explained repeatedly how that reading is wrong.

1. They had 5 votes from Aeternum members going to Golgotha.
2. They had 3 members of Golgotha who had voted for Aeternum in LR1, meaning 3 votes that *should* have gone to Golgotha but won't.
3. 5-3=2.

Since then, they have shifted those 5 votes from Golgotha back to Aeternum, once they realized they had misunderstood Lee's clarification.

Quit being obtuse, Nihimon.

So now Nihimon, if you can do Maths, you will see that they are now actually losing 8 votes... The five Aeternum, that we shifted back(5) + three member of Golgotha locked into Aeternum (3) = Eight(8) total votes...

Have we all finished this 1st grade math lesson now?

You don't like the fact that there is controversy? You haven't seen anything yet. This is the tip of the iceberg. You have to be prepared for this kind of dispute to be an ongoing part of life in this community. If it wasn't, it would mean we failed to make something people are passionate about. Trust me when I say this is going to seem tame compared to what happens when you can actually play the game.

Frankly there are people in this thread who have said things that they should know better than to say. I'm sure the silent majority who are reading, not posting, are forming opinions of who they'll be engaging with. You're not in a clubhouse here. This is all public.
