The attacks thud aimlessly off of the prone Svirfssamirs armor as he slowly lumbers to his feet, incurring an attack from the Kobold. "If you drop your weapon and stand over there, I'll deal with your masters and you'll be free. No need to die tonight, right?" Aerodus grins as he swings the flat of his blade at the Kobold.
His attack whistles through the air over the Kobolds head. "Next time I won't use the flat, but the edge. And trust me, I never miss twice!"
Aerodus dashes towards the hole, dismounting fluidly at the entrance, his hands beginning to glow with a golden light. He reaches up as he walks towards the hole, and begins to run his hands down over his face and hair. As his hands caress down over his face his body begins to shrink and change, giving out a bright golden light. As he stops before the entrance the light explodes in a flash, and standing where the tall Aasimar stood just moments before, was a light bleached Gnome-esq creature, with long flowing white hair, and a distinct lack of wings. "Let's go save our Hunter." he muttered, as he drew his Greatsword, now sized for a much shorter person.

Aerodus had managed to squeeze in his morning ritual at dawn, as he had stood guard over the sleeping group. He watched the others prepare for the day now, turning his back when Terra changed, of course, and grinning as Raggo bellowed his litany to the sky. He had seen these preparations before, they were as much a part of each of these people as his was a part of him. He admired everyones dedication and observation of their own personal faith, it was uplifting. "May the Dawns light protect you all!" he whispered, as his last Prayer, before bowing his head and smiling. He sprung in to motion then, packing up his camp and beginning to bard and saddle Valour. When the horse was taken care of he grabbed his gear and launched himself in to the saddle with ease, flexing his wings for stability.
"If we draw them out, Wulfrun and myself could act as the first wave, charging in with our lances and hitting those who appear to be the most dangerous, before they have a chance to reach the rest of you." He glanced over at the younger Knight and smiled. She would be as excited about the possibility of a charge as he, he expected.
Aerodus leans on the pommel of his saddle, staring down at Gregary and Terra with a sad smile. He shakes his head before dismounting with ease, making sure to make as much noise as he can, to break the moment, without making it appear he had seen. When either looked up, they would find Aerodus unsaddling the horse, his broad back to them. When he was sure he had given the moment its time, he turned, smiling jovially at them, before stepping in, placing an arm around both of their shoulders. "You know, for a group that only met a little while ago, we do work well don't we? We are facing some strange odds here but we are doing out best!" He gave them both a quick one armed hug, before moving over to Valour again, collecting all of his gear and moving it close to the fire. "We best get some sleep. We need to relax before tomorrow. I will watch first."
Aerodus inclined his head and smiled, before turning Valour with ease and beginning to walk the horse forward again. "When you find yourself questioning the path you have taken and the goals you have set yourself, just remember that at the end of the day, everything happens for a reason." He paused, frowning softly. "My own father passed away almost 30 years ago at this point, taken too early by half, but even that happened for a reason. It changed me and made me who I am today. Just believe in yourself and you will do fine. The gods guide our weapons, even if they do not speak to us!"
Aerodus stopped, turning Valour to put him before her in the path. "Aye, you have had rough time of it I will grant you that. But you are holding up well. You are on your feet, weapon in hand and in the thick of it, when danger requires. And here you are sitting strong in the saddle. Your brother and your god would be proud, of that I am sure!" He smiled encouragingly at the younger Knight.
Aerodus smiled at the young Cavalier, nodding his head politely. "How do you feel about following the trail just a little, while it is still fresh?" Aerodus began to cast around himself for the Xvart tracks, his eyes just as sharp at night as they are in the day.
He pointed over towards the trail and trotted forward, making sure to keep Valour from tramping through the marks. "Here we are. It goes that way!" He pointed back the way the Xvart had come, before tightening his grin on the reins.
Intercept Charge: When an opponent charges your ally with this feat, as an immediate action you can move up to your speed toward any square in the path of the charge. If you end your movement in the path of the charge, the opponent must stop when it becomes adjacent to you and then attack you instead of your ally. Your movement from using this feat counts toward your movement on your next turn.
Aerodus frowns before stepping forward and dropping the Xvart he had tied up, on the ground. "I am all for questioning these beasts but not for torture. It will be a quick death for these little wretches or nothing." Aerodus walked over to Valour and began to saddle the horse, before launching himself up in to the saddle. "That being said, I am going for a ride. I will be back." He whistled, before clicking his heels in to the Warhorses Flank. As he rode by, he grabbed his lance from where it stuck in the ground and trotted out in to the darkness.
He drove his blade point first in to the ground and sighed, resting atop the pommel. He glanced down at the Xvart before crouching and shaking it softly "Out like a light. Good..." Taking his knife from his belt, he cut some strips out of the Xvarts shirt, before tying his wrists and ankles together tightly, making sure there is no room for escape by tying its arms behind its back. "We will have some questions for you, little blue Imp!" He completed his securing of the creature, by tearing off another two strips, one which he balled up and shoved in the creatures mouth, the other of which he used to tie the makeshift gag in place. He straightened for a second, cracking his back, before reaching down and shaking the Xvart loose of all of his possessions, and collecting the creatures weapon.
When he had finally found all of there was to find, he collected it all up, along with the weapon and, slinging the beast over his shoulder, strolled back towards the camp, grabbing his sword as he went. "Who ordered the little blue narcoleptic?"
Valour paws the ground and snorts viciously, before charging the fleeing Xvart.
Aeordus curls in around his wound for a moment, sucking air through his teeth, before he straightens and barks a short, sharp laugh. "I guess then we just end this..." He stepped forward, lashing out with the flat of his blade, as hard as he physically can.
"Good show little blue thingy of doom, pain and suffering. I needed a night time jaunt to clear my head!" Aerodus laughed softly as he took a step in and swung the flat of the blade hard in to the little creatures face, willing the foul little beast to JUST GO DOWN!
As his blade swings wide over the little creatures head, he stopped, staring at his enemy for a moment, before planting the tip of his blade in the ground. "Well... I can't hit you, you can't hit me... This is some pickle isn't it? Fisti-cuffs to decide the victor?" He arched an eyebrow at the creature but kept his hands on the grip of the blade.
I was waiting till everyone in initiative had posted before me to post, sorry.[/ooc] Valour snorted and charged forward, kicking out at one of the creatures attacking Gregary, lashing out with one of his steel clad hooves.
Aerodus glances over and smiles as the warhorse wades in to the fight, before turning back to the Xvart before him. With the wound still fresh on his body, he twists his blade, before lashing out at the Xvart, aiming to take the little beasts head from his shoulders.
Aerodus sighs and walks after Wulfrun, out to saddle Valour. "I meant that the town is quite backward in its beliefs, or would appear to be. Maybe two young men fell in love and ran off to be happy together, it is a possibility I am saying!" Aerodus shrugged. "We are not giving up on them, rather we are focusing on something more threatening. Two missing people is little compared to the machinations of the demonic. The greater good would demand that we face the greater evil here!"
"If we find more of those Dark Stalkers, maybe it is best we aim to knock them unconscious, lest we get too heavily poisoned, hey?" Aerodus laughs as he begins to unsaddle Valour, letting the horse free from the armor and tack for the night.
Aerodus looks up at Aliesah and smiles. "It is Abyssal, language of the Demonic. Positively hideous isn't it? I always thought it sounded like snake skin sliding over sand and crushed glass," He grinned turning back to the letter again, frowning. He would have to take longer to look at it, he couldn't get it now. He stood up and handed Gregary the letter so he could read over it again, if he liked. "I agree with Gregary. Jojos is second in importance now. There is a race on to get to this Abraxos egg. Besides... I have been thinking. What if it is not a kidnapping at all. What if these two young men eloped? I mean... The town seems to be a little backwards after all..." He coughed meaningfully.
Aerodus turns to Cayosin and smiles feraly, his eyes twinkling with dark promises, as he begins to speak in a harsh, guttural tongue. "मय तोङ्गुए बेलोङ्ग्स तो मोरे थन जुषत थे देमोन्स ओफ़् थिस् वोर्ल्द्, मय देअर् देअर् चयोसिन" Abyssal:
"My tongue belongs to much more than the demons on this world, my dear dear Cayosin!" With the last word, Cayosin feels a tingle run through his body, as the word sounds slightly familiar. When he is finished speaking, Aerodus laughs softly before turning back to the letter. "Aye, we have fought side by side before. We have our japes and our fun but Cayosin is a good man to have at your back!"
