![]() I hope I'm not out of line sharing this here, but living with three trans people for the past two years has really opened my eyes to the almost constant struggle that you all have to go through. For what it's worth, from a straight white dude, I wish you all the greatest blessings and providences. You are all heroes, and I'm proud to stand with you now, and in the future. Blessings and honor,

![]() The only problem I have is that Draconic Eidolons are impossible with the Unchained summoner, as are Lovecraftian horrors. My campaigns will allow the Unchained Summoner, and if someone wants to make a Draconic or Lovecraftian Eidolon, they'll be allowed to use the old Eidolon instead. Oh! And What about Sarkorian God-Callers? They are cannon Summoners, and none of the descriptions of their Eidolons fit with the Unchained Summoner... ![]()
![]() I've already sent Light a message regarding this, but I was unaware at how quickly my turn was going to come up. I thought I'd asked to be placed further down the list, but maybe I didn't, I don't remember. Point is, you can feel free to move on from my concept, and I'll re-suggest it later when I've had time to actually put more than a theoretical effort into it. Prepping for a complex AP (WotR) and writing a full on module basically for 2nd level characters is completely occupying my time. I apologize for any inconvenience/disappointment, and I will continue to follow this thread and post in it when I have relevant feedback (for example how the Summoner/Samurai works out in play). You guys rock, and I just don't want to half-ass something I'm genuinely excited about contributing to your awesome material. Arigatou Gozaimasu! `Tabletop Prophet ![]()
![]() Since there are gaps in the Knowledge skills, I tend to allow Professions to fill those gaps, using similar DCs when complex understanding is necessary. It may be house-rule, but it seems to make the game more organic. Also, Profession (Sailor) does everything in Skulls and Shackles. Just thought I'd point it out, since I thought it was a neat mechanic to use in that path, and when I run WotR, I might allow similar things (though not as much) from Profession (Soldier). ![]()
![]() Three Ideas: Android Spellslinger (An android who just woke up a couple weeks ago, knows very little about the world, and knows that there is something called a "Disc Drive" that it's looking for to fill in the gap in it's data logs.) Lizardfolk Bloodrager/Dragon Disciple (Basically playing the Chewbacca to someone's Han Solo. Big, beefy, mostly friendly, and only speaks Draconic) Human Alchemist (A low ranking member of the Technic League who left to find a cure for his ravenous addiction to the fluids seeping from the silver mount.) Edit: Actually a fourth... Powered Armor dude. Probably a Gun-Tank gunslinger, but with TECHNOLOGY! |
